No one's P.O.V.
A certain (h/c) haired girl can be seen seated on her bed with a thermometer in her mouth. She pulls it out after a while and read the number it showed,
"42.5°C? I've got a pretty high fever."
She sighed as she remembered how she got this much sick. It was a rainy day yesterday and she was walking back home with her umbrella until a car came speeding by and splashed muddy water all over her.
She woke up this morning and wasn't feeling well so upon checking her temperature, she didn't expect to be this sick. She sighed as she mumbled to herself,
"I'll have to take a day off. I should inform about this at the Raging Bulls. I should inform Shu-"
She cut off herself at that thought. If she told Shu about this, he might come to her house to look after her or worse, he would take her to his house. It's not that she didn't like Shu, it's just that the albino was very flirtatious with her.
He would never possibly miss an opportunity for making the poor girl blush.
(Y/N) would always wonder why Shu was like that to her. It was true that he was her best friend but flirting with her, was it really needed?
Nonetheless, she decided to call and inform Fubuki about this. That young blonde was another friend of hers who would always worry for her. He was like a little brother to (Y/N). She dialled his number and he picked up,
"Hello, (Y/N). Where are you? I think you're late for practice."
"Hey, Fubuki. I won't be able to come for practice today. So, can you please tell about my day off to Shu?"
"Yeah sure. But what happened?" The blonde asked curiously.
"I'm sick." The girl answered rubbing her nape sheepishly.
"How'd you fall sick now?" Fubuki asked raising an eyebrow.
"Rain." Was all the girl said but it was enough for the young blonde to understand.
"Alright I'll tell Shu. Just take care of yourself, okay?"
"Okay. Bye."
"Bye." They hung up the call.

At the Raging Bulls.
Shu's P.O.V.
I'm currently walking in the halls of Raging Bulls, looking for (Y/N). She's kinda late today for practice so I'm worried because she's never late. As I was walking, I bumped into Fubuki.
"Oh hey, Fubuki." I smiled.
"Hey, Shu. I was looking for you." He said.
"Oh, why?" I asked curiously.
"(Y/N) has taken a day off today."
"What? But why?"
"She got sick because of the rain." He explained.
"Oh, alright then. How about you go and start off the training session first? I got some work to do." I said to him as he looked at me slightly confused.
"Okay. But what is the work you're gonna do?" He asked.
"It's some important work." I replied as I rubbed my nape nervously and turned around to walk away.
Fubuki also walked away without any further questions.
I walked back to my office and thought about (Y/N). She lives alone in an apartment, right? And she's sick. I should go and look after her.
She's the person I like after all. Besides, she can't run away when I flirt with her while she's sick. (Insert a smirking face of Shu)
Now that I've decided I'm gonna visit her, I should also buy some flowers for her. And I know she likes (Your favourite flower) the most.

(Timeskip to when Shu is at the reader's door with a bouquet of (f/f) in his hand.) No one's P.O.V.
Shu rung the door bell of the house and waited for a few minutes. After a while, a certain (h/c) haired girl opened the door as Shu's eyes widened slightly at her condition.
She was looking pale and her face was red along with sweat. She was panting too. Her eyes also widened as she recognised the person.
"S-Shu?" She spoke slowly.
"Let's get you in the bed first, (Y/N)." Shu instructed as he ushered the girl back in the house and closed the door behind him.
"W-what are y-you doing here?" Her voice came out weak and a little raspy.
"I'm here to look after you." Shu replied.
'Great, just great. The person I was trying to avoid is now the one who'll look after me.' (Y/N) thought and groaned internally.
Shu took her back to her bedroom and helped her lie down as he asked,
"When was the last time you took your temperature?"
"I took it just this morning and I don't think it went down even by a little bit."
"How much was it?"
"42.5°C."
"What?! That high?!" Shu's jawdropped.
"Okay, rest here and I'll bring in some ice and food for you." He said before he walked off to her kitchen.
After he was out of her room, (Y/N) muttered to herself,
"He isn't being flirty like he usually is. Guess, I can let him take care of me for once."
Back with Shu in the kitchen, he prepared a cool ice pack for the sick girl and also cooked up some warm soup. He arranged everything nicely in a tray and went back to the female's room.
(Y/N) laid on her bed with closed eyes as Shu walked in and gently placed the ice pack on her head, making her smile softly,
"...Cold and soft..." She mumbled as Shu also had a smile creep up on his face. He let the girl sit up and lean by the bed board as he fed her the soup little by little.
"Shu...your cooking is always so delicious..."
She smiled weakly at him and continued to eat with pleasure. Shu was just happy that she was letting him feed her up.
After a while, she finished it as Shu gave her some medicines which she took after fussing for a little bit. (Y/N) then laid back down and fell asleep as Shu took the empty utensils for cleaning.
(2 hours later)
Shu had cleaned (Y/N)'s house while she was sleeping. He'd made sure that the house looked neat and clean.
"That should do it." He mumbled as he wiped some sweat off his forehead and sat on the couch in the living room.
He then went upstairs to check on (Y/N)'s temperature. Entering the room, he found her sleeping peacefully in her bed.
He smiled before walking closer to her and placing a hand on her forehead to feel her temperature. Her temperature had gone down for the most part.
'I'm also tired so how about I also take some rest?' The albino thought as he smirked and laid down beside the girl and hugged her close to his chest and fell asleep.
(In the next morning)
No one's P.O.V.
(Y/N) was the first one to wake up but as soon as she opened her eyes, she almost passed out at the scene.
She was sleeping in Shu's arms. Not only that but she was also hugging him like he was hugging her.
She slowly tried to wiggle up from his grasp but that only woke up Shu. He opened his eyes and smirked at (Y/N),
"Had a good sleep? How do you feel now?"
The poor girl was blushing heavily as she managed to say,
"I-I slept well and I-I'm f-fine now."
Shu pulled her on top of him as he smiled,
"Good." Before he leaned in to place soft kisses on her neck as she yelped.
"S-Shu w-what a-are y-you d-doing?" She stammered as Shu just smirked,
"Nothing. Just loving you." He replied as he continue to place kisses on her neck.
"L-loving m-me?"
Shu pulled away from her neck and made her look at him as he began,
"You think I don't know about your crush on me, (n/n)? Why do you think I always flirt with you?..."
'So he does know that what he does with me is flirting.' (Y/N) thought as he continued,
"...I do that just to get you to confess to me."
"S-so that means you love me back t-too?" She asked and Shu nodded.
"But if you still won't confess to me then I guess I'm gonna have to do something else~" He said as he quickly and swiftly changed their positions.
Now, he was on top of the (h/c) girl with her wrists pinned to the bed. (Y/N) thought she could faint any second now.
"Do you have a fever again, (n/n)? Your face is all red~" Shu teased her.
The girl only looked away embarrassed to say anything. Shu leaned down to her ear and seductively whispered,
"Y'know if you won't say that you love me, I guess I'll have to make you say it myself~"
Hearing the albino's words, her face went like 'O///////O' as she faced him and quickly yelped out,
"I love you, Shu Kurenai!"
Shu smirked, "Good thing you said it yourself or else I was really getting in the mood to do something~ but maybe we're gonna have to save that for later. But, I love you too, (Y/N) (L/N)."
'I'm for once glad that I fell sick. Because if I hadn't, I wouldn't ever have had the courage to confess to Shu.'
(Y/N) thought and smiled as she pulled Shu down and they snuggled and cuddled for the rest of the day.
