Jiro walked out of the operating room after he did the post-operation paperworks. His patient underwent a Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) surgery which took 4 hrs and 10 minutes to finish.
Prior to the CABG, he also performed a Carotid Surgery. He was dead tired and wanted to take a short nap before making his rounds or be ready for another emergency to occur.
Jiro then got inside the on-call room. Even if he's already a fellow, the on-call room is still his haven. When he approached the common table, he saw the food on it but he was too tired to care and lied down on the couch instead.
Before he closed his eyes, he suddenly remembered to text his dad about his small wins today. He took his phone from his pocket and when he opened it he saw an unread message notification from Mary, his other secretary.
And the note says,
Jiro chuckled after reading the note. He already know full well who sent this. Then his phone beeped again, it was from Mary again.
