the moon is crescent, pale and silverish, emitting its gleam while being equipped in the night sky along with thousands of stars. the sky is blue hazed, and those clouds that are unruly, hiding the moon whenever they wish to are white. He smiles, it's mesmerizing. or it's just his eyes.
"princess, look" he whisper in her ear as both of them look at the moon together and let the bewitching aura surrounding them take over.
the breeze is cold but it knows its limit. it carrying the scent of love and he is picking it up with every breath he is taking in.
he looks down to his wife whose gaze is fixed in the sky, snugging her way in his lap while he is gently rocking the rocking chair. his heart is racing. he feels so different. complete..and..Loved!
he looks at the sky again. bemused, is it really happening! he gently holds her cheek, turns her to him and in a blink of an eye, his lips are on hers. he feels passion. a different passion. This exotic feeling is not known to him. Yes, it is true!.. these are really happening to him.
he pulls away and says "I love you Rose" which came out in a whisper. both of their eyes are locked. he is awaiting her reply. his shuddered as a few seconds pass by.
why is she taking so long! was it a dream? that...that she said she loves me! no, she didn't say it but she said she wants to sleep in my arms! why is it appearing she didn't mean she love me back! why isn't she saying she loves me too!!
he's quivering and she feels it. his breath has become heavier than ever. she smiles creeping redness in her cheeks and this immediately eases him. but his heart is still unsteady.
"I love you too Xavier" she replies
his eyes start to leak, unwanted, unknowingly.. and she then turns toward him with one hand in his neck and another wipes off his tear making him thrilled.. her hand is held by him right away. he kisses her fingers.
she wiped off my tear!
and their eyes are locked again.
"w-why you were taking so much time! I..I...I was... god!" and his hands cupped her face, taking her lips in his, again.
"kiss me" he begs to her
and after taking a while, she kiss him back for the first time
her gentle attempt to kiss him sends shiver throughout his whole body. his kiss became more passionate as his hands find their way inside her top, and wrapped her into a tight hug.. he feels special.. loved! He feels so much loved by the girl he loves by all of him.
she was surprised! nothing is poking her in the bum. nothing has been poking her since they are sitting together on his balcony.
he didn't know when his kiss became rougher, hug became firm that caused her to whimper loudly in his lips. right away, he pulls away.
"I.. I'm sorry.. I'm sorry. did I hurt you!" restless, but gently touches her lips.
"I'm fine" she confirms smiling at his condition
he then kisses her temple and takes her in his arms, wrapping his hands around her fragile body, making it easy for her to listen to his heartbeat.. then he starts rocking the chair in slow motion and with one hand, stroking her hair tenderly and another patting her back lightly
"sleep love.. you wanted to sleep here" he kisses her temple again
and then he starts to hum his favourite song in a way that it rings like a lullaby in her ears

his voice has always captivated her. even now, it's not doing any different! she can clearly listen to his heartbeat and now his sonorous voice dragging her to deep, peaceful sleep.. it's getting hard for her to keep her eyes open

and she's asleep..
he stays put, letting her sleep to deepen. and when convinced enough, he takes her bridal style and gently put her to bed..
"be right back love" said before giving her a soft kiss on her lips and pulls the blanket up to her chest
he then takes long stride out of the room. he's excited! there's someone he has to share all his feelings with.. someone very special
Enchanting, the picture he is standing before, in which the lady looks much like him. he's gasping, loud. dragged his hands down to his knees trying to catch his breath.
"Mom...she said that she loves me. sh-she wants to be with me mom. she said "I love you" to me" he explains like a child holding his palm against his chest. the intensity of his ecstatic joy is written all over him.
"Finally my wait is over. finally, she is loving me back mom. she was so happy, she was in my arms the whole evening and night, willingly! I..I'll never let her down. I've been waiting for this moment from the day I first saw her. and now the time is here. it's too good to be true mom. I can't believe that it's actually happening" he smiles cupping his face then runs his hands through his hair
" you know what happened today? she wiped off my tear! no one did that except you mom" and his smile vanishes. he takes some moment while looking down then cheers himself up again
"I..I'll be a good boy from now on. I will listen to everything she says. I'll love her endlessly. god I do it already! I..I..I..." and he goes smiling again. the excitement left him wordless
"she has finally realised my love for her. my Rose! my wife! I wish you were here to see how happy we are together.. I wish" he keeps staring in the eyes of the lady as if she is really here, listening to him.
"I miss you mom" he let out a deep breath dragging his eyes down but smiles right away and looks at the picture again
"no! I don't miss you mom. because you never felt me. you are here, with me.. you live within me. don't you remember what you said to me?
flashback
"mommy.. what do I do? what do I do mommy! somebody, please help my mommy" young Xavier whines loud while his mom is lying on the floor grasping her only childs tiny palm tightly.. her young Xavier is terrified and she senses her sons fear. he is afraid, of losing her. he is too young to endure such pain.
"Xavier" she whimpers
"mommy.. wh-what do I do mo-mommy please t-tell me? wh-whom should I c-call!" he weeps his heart out. he can barely talk.
"baby" she calls again trying to get him in her arms but she closes her eyes shut as the unbearable pain freezes her core.. she can barely move. she is stabbed all over her body
"m-mommy you w-wait here.. y-you wait here" Xavier says impatiently as he remembers a special event where a friend of his hurt his knee and another friend of his used some grass to reduce the bleeding. he runs out of the old cottage and reaches the lawn. he quickly picks up some grass and rushes to his mom. he squishes them together with his tiny hands trying his best to get the juice out. when satisfied, he puts them on her cuts.
"it-it'll stop the bleeding and y-you'll be fine m-mommy" he is restless, crying. his innocent mind couldn't come up with any other option. this is the only treatment he knows
his mom silently let her tears fall. she has no idea how she is going to convince him. so she just let him do what he is trying to do. if it eases him a bit, let it be
soon Xavier realises this is not enough. he needs a lot more grass. he then runs to the lawn again, expands the edge of his tshirt and uses it as a pouch, picks as much as he could and pour them in his tshirt. then he runs back to his mom. Starts to squish the grass with the watch he was wearing and quickly starts applying them to his mother's wounds. It only made her pain sharper.
"Mommy you'll be fine. Don't worry. Then we will go to the zoo together, just like you promised" he says stroking her hair and wiping off his tear which is not much of a help. His eyes are leaking continuously
"I'm sorry mommy.. I will be a good boy from now on. Don't leave me mommy. I will do the sums, even I know all of the sums.. 2+5=4. See? I know everything. I'm a good boy. Please don't leave me mom. I beg you" he cries his heart out
"Xavier" his mom groans
"I..I will always put my toys in the cupboard, I will not eat ice cream, I will not eat chocolate, I will eat all the veggies, I will study regularly" he wails out
"Baby listen to me" she groans again
"Mom please... please mom... I'm sorry mommy, I'm sorry. I will be a good boy mom I promise. I'm sorry" he barely utters
"Xavier...listen to me baby." His mother commands, her voice is deep
"Everything is gonna be fine baby. Remember, mommy is in here" she whimpers placing her palm against his tiny chest while he keeps cryining and staring at her with wide eyes
"Mommy lives within you.. always. She'll never leave you." She whimpers trying her best not to cry. Her crying will scare him even more. She wants him to be brave! To be strong!
He gets out of his trance as he hears a loud thunder clapping. It's raining outside. His eyes are teary, shirt is drenched. But he is not bothered by that
He looks again at the picture, curves a smile
" you live within me mom. And you always will be" says in a low tone while his palm is pressed against his heart
