It's been a week later, we've gotten comfortable with each other again.. life's honestly been great and tbh nothing could take this moment away
As my eyes opened from the sun shining in through the curtains I heard Vinnie on the phone with someone "I'll tell her"
Vinnies facial expresses changed quicker than I could say hi
I wanted to know what was going on but he looked scared, N so I did anyways
"Baby" he turned his head towards me "I gotta go I'll talk to you later"
He hung up the phone and rubbed his temples
I got up n stretched a little before crawling over to him..
I wrapped my arms around him "what's wrong babe" he lets out a sigh and turns to me "I need to tell u something Katherine"
I knew it was serious when he called me Katherine.. and now I was getting scared
"Your mom is alive"
As I heard the words roll off his tongue I froze for a second "she- she's alive?"
"They found her in Russia.." "I- but u said" "I know mama.. I thought she was"
"How'd u find her.. why were u looking, did u know? How long did u know?"
"I was just told this morning she was found.. but I stared looking for her awhile ago.. When i was told she was spotted but I had to make sure before I told u"
"Vinnie.."
"I'm sorry Katherine"
I didn't know what to do, so I sat there.. this whole time she was alive, how could I not have known? She's my mother? Why wouldn't she contact me?
So many thoughts rolled through my head
"Katherine"
"Katherine"
"Hm"
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah :)" I said trying so hard to smile n not break down.. my life was just getting better man
"Do u wanna go see her?"
I looked up at Vinnie..I wanted to but that wasn't what came out of my mouth
"No.. I don't"
He looked at me confused, he flared his eyebrows and knew what was happening
He pulled me to him and just hugged me.. it felt nice but the thoughts of my mother took over in seconds
"Are you sure you don't wanna go see her Katherine?"
