Episode 6 Fortress Of Squalitude
Yasemin's POV
The sun was shining bright as I was getting up. I had a shower and changed into a light green long top and a blue skirt and then I put on some black stockings and some nice sneakers. I decided to work on my shack as I wanted to find new ideas for decorating. I was thinking of working on a new painting job and maybe hanging some pictures of my friends as I've been taking photos of me and my friends from the camera I brought with me. Then i suddenly get a call from Amy
Amy: Hey Yasemin, are you at home? I had a great idea for a hangout session for all of us
Yasemin: Yes, I'm home. What's your idea?
Amy: i'll tell you when i'm there
Then I wait and then I hear the door. I rush over and open the door and Amy comes in holding a clipboard as she comes in
Amy: ok here's the idea, i wanted to make a nice dinner for us all as i had a nice summer theme idea. What do you think?
Then Amy hands me the clipboard and shows me the idea
Yasemin: This is really good. You came up with this yourself?
Amy: Yes, so are you able to help me?
Then i burst with joy as i love that Amy wanted me to help her
Yasemin: Yes, of course. I would be happy to help
Then Amy squeals and hugs me
(later in the day)
We gathered everyone outside of Sonic's shack and everyone was there. I said hi to everyone and me and Amy discussed the idea to everyone to set up a nice dinner for us all. They all seem to be on board so I gave everyone a job to do while me and Amy set up the table. It was fun for the both of us as this was a nice bond between us both as we both love decorating and setting things up. Let's just say we are both very creative individuals
Then once we were done Amy checked it off the list
Amy: My summer-themed seat cushions with floral upholstery that compliments each guests' natural coloring are ready, the ice sculpture has melted just enough to hide the carving marks-
Sticks: And I dug a trench around the picnic table and filled it with broken glass
I looked at it and nodded in amusement as it was good and Amy seemed to like that Sticks did her part of the task
Amy: Now Yasemin, we might've used rose petals, but we'll go with it
Then she turns over to Sonic
Amy: Sonic! How are you doing on those fruit drinks?
Then I hear snoring so I turn around seeing that Sonic has fallen asleep. Seriously it's only the afternoon, how could he be tired now?
Yasemin: we shouldn't even be surprised
Then Amy calls out to Tails starting to get irritated
Amy: Tails! Where's the soothing music?!
Then luckily Tails seem to be working on the music
Tails: (Sitting on the porch of Sonic's Shack with a music control panel in front of him) Right here, but I thought it would be better if I gave it a little boost.
Then he turns on a switch and plays loud music which was not right for the dinner we set up for everyone. Then I see a leaf on Amy's head as Tails turns off the music. I take the leaf off for her and now i guess we're just relying on Knuckles to have at least gave in his effort in this plan we had
Amy: Knuckles? Are my grilled pheasants ready?
Then Knuckles completely shuts her down
Knuckles: Not now, Amy, I'm busy. (Holds up hand to show he has put the raw pheasant on it like a puppet, he changes his voice as if the pheasant itself is speaking) Oh, please don't cook me, Knuckles. (Changes his voice to a lower one as he holds up his other hand with a pheasant on it) Today turned out a lot different than I expected.
I would normally laugh at Knuckle's foolish nature but today was not the day for it. Seriously did any of the guys care how much this meant for Amy?
Yasemin: Amy i'm so sorry
Then Amy starts getting upset
Amy: It's just not fair. Sticks, Yasemin, I don't know why I go out of my way to make things nice for these guys
Then i pat her back
Yasemin: oh Amy-
Eggman: you deserve better
Eggman?! Where did he come from?
Eggman: (Standing on the porch) You deserve better. I mean, this table! It should be hanging in a museum! And i know that you had help and may i say you two make a strong pair
Wow, i never expected that from him of all people to say that to me
Sticks: Euagh! (Jumps onto the table, grabs an oyster shell and smacks it on the ground, holding the broken ends like a weapon) That villain, just give me the signal, Amy, and I'll clam him!
Then i snap out of it as i remember he's a villain so i stand guard with the others and get ready for battle with the rest of the team as they were all standing beside me
Eggman: Don't let the fact that I constantly try to destroy you lead you to believe that I am here to destroy you. I just want to hire Amy to redo my lair with the assistance of Yasemin of course
Then the team laughs and i cross my arms and scoffs at him
Yasemin: You really think I'm going to buy your sweet talk and kind words all for me to just work with you? You better think again Eggman
Then I looked at Amy as she was happy to hear that offer. Sonic on the other hand doesn't believe it for a second
Sonic: Come on, Amy, you're not buying this
Amy: (Annoyed) Is it so hard to believe Eggman might actually respect my talents?
Sonic: Well, yeah
Then i punch his arm softly and he then realises what he said
Sonic: Wait, that came out wrong
But it was too late i can tell she was going to go with him no matter what we said
Amy: I accept
Then we were all shock and she makes her way towards him
Sonic: Don't go with Egg Breath!
Tails: You can't trust him! He's evil!
Then she had enough of them trying to protect her as she turns around giving them attitude as she snaps at them
Amy: I can take care of myself!
Yasemin: no wait Amy please reconsider
But she ignores me and i sigh in defeat
Eggman: Splendid! My lair awaits, after you. (Gestures to where Amy needs to go)
Then we all watch her leave
Knuckles: (Holds up one of his hands, which still has the meat on it, he changes his voice again) Don't look at me, I didn't use her lovingly prepared meal as a puppet
Sonic's POV
We've been waiting for a while as Amy went off with Egghead. I still can't believe she went with him just because we don't appreciate her talents. We all appreciate her talents. I look over and see Yasemin still setting up the table by herself and the rest of the team watching her do it. I can tell she really wants Amy to come back but i doubt that Amy will return so soon
Sonic: Hey Yasemin?
Then she ignores me and continues setting up the table
Sonic: Do you need any help?
Then she stops what she's doing and stares at me. I can tell she's mad
Yasemin: oh so now you want to help? Because before you didn't seem interested in helping at all. As a matter of fact you were completely wasting me and Amy's time by napping on the job. So no, i don't need your help especially right now
I can't believe she snapped at me like that, but i shouldn't be that surprised i really deserved it. I should make it up to her and maybe if i make it up to her she'll forgive me and then we can sort out how to get Amy back
Then i see leaves and i gather the team
Sonic: come on let's finish this table setup guys
Tails: but we don't have the schedule
Knuckles: and Amy isn't even here
Sonic: ok yeah i know that but Yasemin really wanted us to help her with the setup this meant a lot to her
Then the team agrees with me and we get to work
Yasemin's POV
I needed to go for a walk as I was still in shock that Amy would go with Eggman. I tried calling her but she didn't answer me at all. I can't believe the team and Sonic. They just now care that Amy is gone. And Sonic now offers to help. Ridiculous, honestly I expected better from them as they know Amy longer than me and I thought they would want to help Amy as she wanted to all out for her friends.
I decide to go back to Sonic's shack and just hope that she will come back. But then I smell a burnt crispy smell. I run over and see the team setting up the table kind of similar to what Amy had in mind then i see the team hurdling over a burnt pheasant on the table
Yasemin: Guys, what is all this?
Then Sonic looks at me and runs up to me
Sonic: hey so we tried to follow the instructions in making the pheasant but we kind of burnt it
Then i look over and laugh
Yasemin: You guys, you did all of this?
Sonic: we're really sorry for not doing the tasks you gave us earlier we should have known how much it meant to you
Then I smile at this blue dork. He really is so sweet to me. But it would make it all more better if Amy was here. But maybe we can just enjoy this night and maybe Amy will return as there is no way she'll stay with him permanently
Yasemin: Well, thank you very much. This really means a lot to me. How about we sit down all together and try to have a good time?
Knuckles: sounds good to me all that cooking made me hungry
Then Sonic nods his head and chuckles. He pulls a chair out for me and I sit down and he sits next to me and we see the others sit down and Knuckles brings the pheasant on the table. We all tried to eat it but it definitely didn't taste all nice as it was burnt and really crispy and not a nice taste as I would have hoped it would be. Then it was all quiet as we were all quiet and just sitting at the table.
Knuckles: Ugh. Burned food just doesn't taste the same without Amy.
Tails: Knuckles, you're eating a napkin.
Wait what? I looked over at him and he was. Ok.
Knuckles: (Looks at his napkin, which has the top part bitten off) Yeah, I knew that. (Takes a bite of the napkin)
Yasemin: Knuckles don't eat that
Then Sonic agrees with Knuckles statement about Amy i believe (hopefully not the napkin eating)
Sonic: Knuckles is right.
Tails: What!?
Sonic: Not about the napkin eating, about Amy! We need to make sure she's OK
Yasemin: yeah even though she said she can take care of herself we need to show and prove her that we want her back
Sonic: then let's go
(outside of Eggman's lair)
We were outside Eggman's lair and Sonic was knocking on the door
Eggman: Yes?
Sonic: We came to get Amy. Is she done yet?
Eggman: Amy has decided to become my full-time decorator. I'm afraid she doesn't want anything to do with her old friends.
Then he shuts the door on us. Me and Sonic look at each other as we both don't believe that Amy would abandon us like that. Something smells fishy here.
Knuckles: Wow. Who'd thought Amy'd abandon us?
Sonic: I don't think she did. Come on, we got to find a way into this lair
Then we look around and i found a way in
Yasemin: guys, over here
I notice that we could go through the pipes as it's the only way in
Sonic: smart thinking Yas
Then we all look at each other
Tails: So who's going in first?
Then i look at Sonic
Yasemin: after you
Sonic: no after you i insist
Sticks: could one of you two go in we're wasting time here
Then i push Sonic in
Yasemin: Sorry, should allow the leader to go first right?
Then Sonic gives me a pout. I throw him Amy's hammer and then we all follow him inside. We travel through the sewers and yeah maybe this was not a great idea. Probably gonna need to take a long shower after this. Once we stop we hear a voice that sounds like Amy's. Sonic gets us all to back up as he destroys the wall with the hammer and we see that Amy was trapped in a cage powered by lasers
Amy: I was wondering how long it would take for you guys to miss me
Then me and Sonic run up to Amy
Yasemin: Amy thank goodness we found you
Amy: Yasemin, it's so great to see you and everyone else
Sonic: We may have a hard time saying it, Amy, but... well, you know.
Amy: (Smiles) Yeah, I know.
Then Tails comes in and deactivates the cage and Amy was free
Sonic: There's no way we're going out the way we came in, care to do the honors? (Hands Amy her hammer)
Then we all stand together ready to attack Eggman. Amy breaks down the door
Amy: Sorry about the door. Oh, and I quit.
Eggman: No one quits my employ unless I dismantle them first!
Cubot: (On the floor, dismantled) It's true!
Then a bunch of robots come and i guess it's time for action
Sonic: (gestures to Amy) after you
Then she runs first to attack the robots and we all go off and fight the robots. I ran into a pack of robots and kicked and punched them until they were broken. I also jumped high in the air and did a high kick. Everyone else was defeating the robots in their own cool ways. And once we finish defeating them we see Eggman getting furious but before he does anything we notice two business mobians coming in seeing the mess we made. Oops.
Eggman: I.. umm... you're early!
Diane: Apparently
Then the woman looks around not pleased with the mess
Diane: (Turns to Gunther) You're fired. (Leaves)
Orbot: (Hands tickets to Gunther) Ride the roller coaster, that always cheers me up.
(Gunther takes tickets)
Eggman: W-wait, please! Forget the cover! How about a smaller spread? A couple pages? A page! A snapshot buried behind some cleaning product ads!
Then Amy talks to me and Sonic
Amy: Would've been nice to see my designs featured in a magazine. Oh well, maybe someday.
Sonic: I can't guarantee you a magazine spread, but I do know a shack you can redecorate.
Amy: Really? I've been wanting to fix that place up for years! Oh, Sonic, it'll be amazing!
Sonic: Just a few things: My coconut husk collection is off-limits -too many memories-, and no washing, painting, plastering, or cleaning. But other than that you have total creative freedom
Then when we walk out i had a great idea that i know Amy can help me with
(later in the night)
Amy: and we're done
I was excited as Amy finished helping me decorate my shack. It looks so good! She painted my walls a nice pastel pink, put up some fairy lights and helped me stick some photos up on my wall
Amy: your new furniture should be coming soon
Yasemin: oh thank you Amy!
I hug her tight and then Sonic comes in
Sonic: hey just wanted to check in...wow it's so much different than when i first saw it. Nice work Amy
Amy: thanks Sonic but it was a team effort
Amy links her arm around me and i smile as i proud taking half the credit
Sonic: well there was one thing Eggman got right about you two
Yasemin: And what's that?
Sonic: that you both make a strong pair
Then we both agree to what Sonic said as it was true me and Amy did make a good pair
