As time flew by for (Y/N) she became more and more irritated and upset with alot of things happening during the time she had left until Kayn had to leave yet again.
Days were... fun? I suppose you can't really blame her for not being excited or cheerful for the fact that she couldn't spend time with her dear idiot, especially in recent months.
The truth is that... they were frustrating...
She never knew anything of what was going on with anyone. She didn't even knew where or for how long they would be gone. Neither could she be sure of his or anyone's return. She never knew any details. Important details...
Even when (Y/N) got told many times that it was for her own good and for her not to worry or cause herself stress, she still hated being treated like this. Always the one who can't know. Always the one who can't fight or take upon anything important. The one who's always cast out. It was awful. She felt really lonely sometimes too. She might be part of The Order of Shadow but... that didn't mean everyone liked her or tolerated her...
*"meow! "*
A familiar sound snapped her out of her trance. It brought a slight smile on her
. For a moment she forgot she was even outside, shutting the world away whenever she had to think.
But, at least she can come here when she felt lonely.
"*sigh* At least you are always here. "
(Y/N) said as she gently petted the lizards head. This made her feel a little better, knowing she wasn't completely alone.
" Heh, who would have thought? Maybe it wasn't that stupid when I took you back then... "
"*meow! *"
"*laugh* My dump little baby..."
Looking at its round eyes she smiled, a true happy smile. It felt like yesterday when she took the thing. (Y/N) couldn't remember why. Her childishness really may have overtoken her back then. It felt embarrassing thinking about it. And yet... she didn't regret it. No, she couldn't regret it. Everything that happened, it earned her a friend. A very precious one at that...
Getting up from the ground, (Y/N) looked at the sky. The colors being ever so warm and bright. It calmed her nerves as it made her remember that she couldn't stay here anymore for time was running quite fast. Gazing at the path before her she now remembered something... something quite important...
"Oh... "
"Didn't think time would run out so fast... "
(L/N) looked at her with curious eyes before laying down on the grass, rolling into a ball.
Before (Y/N) could even turn around to say bye, the little creature was already fast asleep. She could only give a tiny smile before she turned to go back.
But unlike before the path now seemed more quiet and empty than before...

After she returned to the ever so familiar place called her home she sat down on her bed. Her expression was not a quite happy one. Today was the exact day Kayn was leaving. Only now she was significantly more worried. (Y/N) didn't knew what exactly would happen or with how big of a threat they were dealing. She was quite unhappy about it...
A sudden noise caught her attention. The tiny little baby noises the child she kept was doing. She smiled at the adorable noises it made. Getting up from her bed she went to look at it.
"Are you up already? "
The baby just happily reached out it's hands as if wanting to be held. (Y/N) obliged and picked it up in her arms.
"Aww, aren't you an adorable! ~"
(Y/N) played around the the baby until she noticed something. She never named it. She mentally slapped herself for a brief second before putting down the child in front of her.
"Huh, I really should give you name. "-she spoke while thinking.
And then the woman remembered. She never checked what the baby's gender even was. (Y/N) didn't knew almost anything about this child, especially considering she was in a short coma of sort.
" Ok, let me just see very quick- Ok, yeah, that's a boy. "
The child just happy smiled and cheered in its baby manner. Now (Y/N) had to think here. What was she gonna name it? She had now realized that she really never actually thought anything of this sort. But her mind kept roaming around names, ideas, everything! It's was exiting!
"How about...(C/N)? I think it suits you! "
Of course the baby couldn't really respond to her but she still decided to go with it.
"Ok (C/N) , how about you go get some more sleep, eh? You do have to sleep to get strong."
(C/N) looked at her for a second before yawning.
"I would take that as an yes "
(Y/N) smiled as she put the little being to bed. It was surprisingly fast. Nakuri had told her it took him hours... huh? He must be very, very bad at it.
This day actually was not completely terrible...
A sound of a door cracking open interrupted her thoughts. Turning around she was met with the familiar face of her one and only mom. Nakuri.
"(Y/N). "
"Yes, Nakuri? "
"Everyone is getting ready to leave. I thought I would let you know. "
"I'm coming, I'm coming... Don't worry, you won't go anywhere without so much as a " bye". Neither will Kayn. "
Nakuri looked at her with a look of surprise and confusion as if she said something wrong.
"What do you mean? I'm not going. "
"What? What do you mean? "
"Yes. You heard me. "
" B-but why?"
"Hm? Isn't it good? You won't be lonely now. "
"No- I -I mean yes but, Zed wouldn't just let you sit here just because "you don't wanna go. So... how? "
"Oh! That, well I just got ordered to look after you. "
"What? "
"Well, you are still in recovery. You might walk around and do a lot more than before but you still can't fight. What if something happened? You never know. "
"I see... " -(Y/N) said as he face fell into a slight frown.
"What's wrong bud? Aren't you supposed to happy? "
"No, no it's not that. I just... hate being so useless all the time... "
"(Y/N), you are not useless. "
"Oh yeah? Sure, I really believed you buddy. "
"*sigh* Look at me. "
She did as he said as looked at him with a tired expression.
"Tell me something. Who saved that child back there? Who risked their life for it? "
"I did... "
"Yes, that is correct. (Y/N), Zed didn't send me here because you are useless or anything of this sort. He just is afraid of something happening to you."
"You think so? "
"I know so. "
"Now come on, let's go before the dumpass is gone. "
"Heh, let's go. "
When both of them walked outside they were greeted by the whole order, ready to leave. This made (Y/N) even more anxious than before. What was it that they were going to do, that requires everyone?
Looking around everyone, she spotted a familiar long black braid. The woman just walked over to him, not calling out to him or clinging to him. She was quiet this time. Collecting herself as his voice brang her back to reality.
"(Y/N)?"
"Heh, didn't think you can just get away without saying anything did you? "
Kayn smiled as a small laugh escaped him.
"Of course not. "
(Y/N) quickly pulled him into a hug before whispering to him:
"You better come back. "
Kayn just gave a slight smug as he said :
"I promise. "
And with that, both had to let go and go their separate ways. It felt... upsetting. But, deep down, she knew he would come back.
"Aww c'mon what's with the serous face? It's alright, he'll be fine. He is a very tough guy. "
(Y/N) smiled.
"I know, I know. I've know him for quite some time... "
They both stared at the sky for a second. Both being in their own realm of their mind.
"C'mon. Let's get inside. "
"Alrighty."

As Kayn fought alongside his brothers he felt powerful...he felt invincible, he felt at focus. For he fought with precision and swiftness. He fought like never before, he felt...different. He felt...amazing.
Avenging the one whom these people had hurt. The one kept close. It gave him power and yet... he did not felt overwhelmed by that power.
In fact...
It felt like, he controlled it...
Something... new. Something unknown to him. Such power... where could it come from? He did not wonder. He already knew.
Such a feeling could only come from one place and one place alone...
