I crumpled the report I'm holding. I laughed insanely as I plot everything and at last the years of waiting will finally come to end. Ibinigay ko muli ang papeles kay Clasper kapwa kami nakaupo sa leather sofa rito sa opisina nila.
Clasper has a strange look ever since we got here. “It will be over soon,” he said. Eye to eye, head to head that's the motto of our plan. “Liza Maristela, Jameson Garlio and lastly the final demon.”
I nodded clenching my fist. “Everything is set. I should start with Liza... For me and for Emily.” I murmured. The revenge wasn't planned because of me although all those I've experienced gave me strength to do this but Emily was one of the reason why should I kept going until her name and my dead self cleanse on a sin they never did.
I frowned when Viech leaned forward on Clasper and whispered something upon hearing his words Clasper rose on his seat and grab a gun. Without any words he hurriedly ran. “Is it about them?” I asked Viech, he nodded silently. “Did he found something?”
I stared at him until Viech couldn't handle the awkwardness. “Yes.” He timidly answered still kept his mouth shut because of Clasper. Really, what a loyal person on his master.
I flinched. As much as I'm delighted on the report something is bugging me, weeks past after Gremory and I had a thing. Eventually I tried a pregnancy test and thank God it was negative however, why the fuck I'm feeling something weird?
Disregarding this disturbing thoughts I walked confidently inside Rossweisse building. They contracted me as their exclusive model that's why also Deiry told me that things are going smoothly for them. I'm glad because Deiry deserves nothing but best.
My brows knitted at what welcomed me. “The heck are you wearing?” I said in a irritated and confused tone. “Bikini? It's not appropriate on the theme.” And cross my arms.

Ivory Aguilar is back, she wrapped her body with the robe and quickly went to the dressing room, Rossweisse in the other hand smiled and sighed in relief. “Salamat buti nalang dumating ka..”

Rossweisse mouth gaped open but seconds passed a wide smile plastered on his lips upon hearing my bestfriend’s name. “Hmm, salamat..”
It was a good choice after all, I winked at Rossweisse who's whistling in happiness. Animo'y nanalo sa lotto at may pa sipol-sipol pa, ilang oras lang ay nagsimula na ang photoshoot. “No!” I shouted as light overwhelmed my eyesight ramdam ko ang malalamig na patak ng aking pawis maging ang masaganang luhang patuloy na lumalandas sa aking pisngi.. “I..I..” Hindi ko magawang ituloy ang sinasabi, tahimik na himikbi habang nakasapo ang ulo sa sariling mga palad.
I heard footsteps and the moment I moved my head to see the person, Gremory appeared. A worried expression spread on his face and as he went towards me he immediately reach my wet cheeks and wipe the tears on it. “May masakit ba?” He asked. Hindi ako nakasagot, parehas kaming natahimik tanging ang tunog ng aking paghikbi ang naririnig. “Did you have a nightmare?” His voice was gentle as if he's talking to a child, Gremory sat on the edge of the bed. “My mother told me when I'm having nightmares that telling them on someone will prevent them on becoming true.. Ganoon din ang lagi kong sinasabi kina Genevorld at Genevieve..”

I almost jump on my place when Gremory leaned and rest his head on my shoulder. “A-Anong..” Nauutal kong ani, “h-hoy..” On a sudden moment it brought back memories, like a wildest dreams that we shared.
We fell on silence again and what shocked me more is when I noticed Gremory’s shoulder trembling. “T...T-Take me b..back... D..Dorothy.. W-When y..you suddenly l..left I was all alone in hell... Dorothy it hurts so m-much without me a...asking for your forgiveness before you leave..
D-Dorothy everyday it was a nightmare...” It wasn't just me who's crying hard... For the first time I saw him like this..
I was about to hug him when I came back to my senses.. Concealing my feelings and burying all of me in the pile of pain, anger and sadness just to avoid getting fooled like an idiot again.. “I don't have time for bullshits.” I said.
But Gremory was firm. He shooked his head and cried harder, “n..n-no.. J-Just let me stay by your side.. Wala akong pakielam kung gantihan mo ako o gamitin mo ako... T..T-Tatruhin mo ako ng masama na mas malala pa kung paano kita tatruhin noon... Tatanggapin ko..” His face was all wet, “I knew what happened... Dorothy alam ko.. G-Gustong-gusto kitang tulungan para makabawi sayo.. Pero paano? Paano pa ngayong may iba nang nakaalay sa iyo bukod sa akin? Paano pa na iyong dating ikaw ay halos wala na?”
My breath hitched. “Labas.” Mariin kong sabi, wala akong pakielam. Hindi ko siya kailangan. Bakit ngayong pinutol ko na ang kung ano mang koneksyon kami ay tila nauulol siyang nagmamakaawa? Hindi ba’t ito ang gusto niya noon?
“I heard all of it... You were imprisoned... They said you killed someone..”
“Tumigil ka na!”
“Dorothy... Did you really killed someone?”
I lost it. I just lost everything I pent up. With all my strength I moved away from cauding Gremory to fall down. “What if it's true?” I bravely said. Anong gagawin mo? Alam ko hinding-hindi ka magbabago kung ano ka dati ay ganoon ka rin ngayon.
Kahit laruin mo pa ako sa mga salita mo’y wala na itong laban dahil ibang-iba na ang landas na tinatahak natin ngayon kaysa noon at siguraduhin kong bago pa man ako bumalik sa iyo ipaparamdam ko kung paano mo ako tratuhin noon.
Gremory stood still wobbling. “Then..” He stared on the depts of my eyes, those mysterious orbs shielded with his glasses. “Then I'll help you.. If you did it then I'm sure you have a reason.. Kung gusto mong itago tutulungan kita... Hayaan mo lang ako sa tabi mo..”
My mouth gaped open. “Fool..”
A bitter smile plastered on his lips his eyes were shedding tears. The almighty Gremory lost his coolness.. He looked defeated and pathetic a sight to witness once in a blue moon. “Dorothy our goal is aligned... I'll help you.. If you don't want to be with me just atleast let me cooperate on your revenge.. I'll tell you everything, I'll be your devil and your monster just let me stay with you... Because I know we're targeting the same person.. Genco Lajañas..” I stilled.
How? It's a bait not for me but for himself. A kind of trap that bring disadvantages on his side, a long internal debate happen. In a act of desperation I was standing on a edge of cliff whether to fall or continue to stand my one foot on the ground.
“A...A-Alam mo bang sirang-sira ako? Sa puntong kailangan kong patayin ang sarili ko sa mga dokumento para lang makatakas?”
“W..What do you mean Dorothy?”
“S-Simula ng makilala kita natutunan kong wasakin ang sarili ko at isiping normal lang ‘yon... G...G-Gusto kong itanong sayo bakit sobra mo akong sinaktan noon? Bakit mo ako sinaksak patalikod? Ako iyon eh, tinalikuran ka ng lahat pero ako hindi. Pero ano? Tangina ginawa mo akong laruan! Kapag wala ka ng interest itatapon mo!”

“Putanginang sorry iyan nagkanda letche-letche ako! Eighteen o seventeen nagdesisyon akong umalis hindi ko alam.. Ako naman ang may kasalanan nitong lahat kasi ako naman ang naglagay sa sarili sa posisyong ito.. Umalis ako dahil takot na takot na akong bumalik sa lugar na iyon... Akala ko gaganda ang buhay ko.. Akala ko nakatakas ako sa impyerno at sa wakas nakarating sa isang paraiso... Tangina, nagkamali ako mas malala pa sa impyerno!”
“N..No,”
“Nakulong ako! Binenta ako! Humingi ako ng tulong pero inilagay ako sa alanganing posisyon! Wala akong mapagsabihan.. Wala e,”
In the midst of overflowing emotions through my forgotten drunken memories, dead emotions slowly began to bloom. Resentment and regrets. I kept pushing them with a close eyes under the excused of leaving my past self on this current time but I cannot blindly run away in order to move forward. Even I succeed on countless revenge this feeling will still remain. Telling myself to cope up with the pain but I was just fooling myself because the dagger that stab my heart kept on pushing deeper that the last resort to change vanished.
“Gremory... I hate you and I don't know if I'll be able to forgive you afterall you had a fair share of mistakes towards me. I don't know maybe a day will come when I'm done with all of these.. Until then, I hope I have the courage to smile at you..” He hesitated, obviously trying to find the right answer. “Ah, you didn't expect that from a sweet dream I became a worst nightmare, right?”
Gremory spoke the words slowly.. “I accept.. If I can't be with you atleast let me cooperate.. Let's team up to have our own revenge..”
A partnership with convinience. Gremory wanted a revenge because of his sudden reason similarly I wanted to have mine. That's where we draw the line, closing all the doors of the past and turning my back without hearing his explanation nor accepting his apologies. Ridiculous, congruous the past we held on each others neck but this time a boundary wall was built.
It's better this way. Greedy people always meet their karma at the end.
