*ALARIC'S RESIDENCE*
S2e20 'The Last Day.'
"So my darling, what would you like?" Klaus asked me.
"Freedom," I answered smiling sarcastically while flipping through a random magazine.
"After tonight, once the sacrifice is complete." He told me coming to sit across from me. One thing I don't get is that why would he want to break the curse, he already can walk in the sun. "Ask whatever it is." I hesitated.
"Why would you want to break a curse that doesn't affect you." He chuckled.
"The sun and the moon curse, how biblical. That's not it."
"What do you mean, that's not it." He smirked and moved to right beside me.
"What exactly do I get if I tell you." I scoffed and went to get up but he pulled me back down, he put his mouth directly beside my ear. "The curse isn't about that, it's about me. I'm a part wolf."
"What?" I asked turning so our faces were right infront of each other.
"Hmm." He hummed pushing hair behind my ear. "My father isn't my father, my real father was a wolf." I shook my head.
"I don't understand," I muttered.
"My mother cheated on my father with a wolf, so when we turned and I killed someone my father found out and forced my mother to make my werewolf side dormant. Tonight I am going to reactivate it." He told me all while smirking.
"And then?" I asked nervously.
"And then everything, then I get everything." He put more hairs behind my ears.
"How?" I asked again.
"Fear. People are scared of what they don't know and people have no clue about hybrids."
"You won't get everything."
"I already have everything I have ever wanted including you." My blood boiled.
"You don't have me," I told him and he just smirked.
"I not only have you, darling, you are mine." I went to pull away but he grabbed my chin lightly. "Mine and mine only."
"I haven't been yours for a very very long time and I'm never going to be yours again." I spat back in his face and I could see his jaw tick.
"I'll just have to prove you wrong then." He stood up abruptly and went to the door.
"Where are you going?" I asked from the sofa.
"To prove you wrong." He called from the door.
Kat and I were sitting for hours she could tell I was very nervous.
After a while, we heard a key in the door and Alaric walked in, I immediately hugged him and he wrapped his arms around me in return.
"Look who's dumb enough to come back," Kat smirked.
"Well, somebody had to invite him in. Damon. Would you like to, uh, come in?" Damon walked in and threw his arms around me. She rushed at him and threw him up against a wall.
"Are you trying to get me killed?" Kat shouted at him, he swapped their positions and had her up against the wall.
"I gave you vervain, now I'm here to collect. I got it from here, Rick."
"You sure?" Alaric asked unsurely.
"Yeah, only one of us needs to get blamed for this. Get back in the house. Keep Elena from handing herself over." Damon told him.
"Okay." Alaric hugged me and he left.
"Get blamed for what?" I asked Damon.
"I need to know where Klaus is keeping his werewolf," Damon told us.
"I have no clue." I shrugged.
"Why? What are you going to do?" Kat asked him.
"Dead werewolf equals no ritual," Damon smirked.
"No. You can't interfere, Damon. Klaus will kill you and everyone you've ever met." Kat started to babble.
"I just need to delay this thing." Damon started to bargain.
"No. No way." Katherine barked back.
"You should like this. It's going to buy another month of your pathetic life." Damon spat back.
"Right. Except that I'm not the vampire he's planning on sacrificing." Katherine gloated.
"What?" Damon asked out of disbelief.
"Yeah. He's got, Caroline Forbes and Tyler Lockwood. Therefore, I'm in the clear." Katherine smirked.
"What?!" I shouted at them but they ignored me.
"And where'd he get that idea from?" Kat held her hands up in surrender.
"Hey! Hey, hey, hey, I'm just trying to stay alive long enough to get myself out of here." Katherine defended.
"What if I told you Elena had vampire blood in her system?" Katherine's face drained of blood.
"What?!" Katherine screeched back.
"Imagine how much fun that will be competing with Elena for Stefan's love for, I don't know, forever." I couldn't help but laugh at her face.
"The tomb. He's got them in the tomb." She gave in.
"Thank you." Damon walked back over to me.
"Please save them, Damon, please," I asked him.
"I'll make sure nothing happens Caroline okay." He promised me.
"I need out of here Damon, I can't keep going like this, he's driving me insane," I told him and he hugged me again.
"I'll find that witch and I'll kill him I swear," Damon promised. He moved his face down so that his forehead was touching mine.
"Go, you need to go now. Before Klaus comes back." I pushed him away lightly.
"He came to see me today." He told me smirking.
"What?!"
"Made some pretty big threats about you." He moved back towards me and kissed my forehead. "Just makes me wanna kill him more." And then he disappeared.
"He's screwed," Katherine called out from the sofa.
"I know." I groaned.
After a while, Klaus came back while Katherine made coffee.
"Everything okay?" Klaus was looking around the apartment suspiciously.
"What have you been doing?" He asked her suspiciously.
"Making coffee. Do you want some?" He rushed at her and grabbed her by the throat and compelled her.
"What are you doing? Stop it." I shouted running at them.
"Tell me what you've been doing." He compelled her.
"Making coffee." She wheezed out. He released her neck and she fell to the floor holding her neck, I dropped down beside her and rubbed her back.
"Wait. Take off your bracelet." He compelled again, she took it off and handed it to her.
"Now, I want you...to walk over to the window and stand in the sunlight." He smirked at us.
"No, what are you doing?" I went to move towards Kat but he grabbed my arm and pulled me to him.
"But I'll burn." I tried to get out of his grasp but he wouldn't budge.
"You don't have a choice," Klaus smirked and moves his hands from my arms to my waist.
Katherine stood in the sunlight. And the side of her face started to burn. She kept burning and I tried to run over to her but Klaus pulled me closed and put his head on my shoulder.
"Ok enough, please," I begged him.
"Keep going." He smirked.
"Please ok, she'll die, please, please." He smirked and held his hand up.
"That's enough." Katherine immediately ran and threw herself into a corner. I ran over to her.
"Guess I was wrong. All right, then. I need you to do something for me. You." He looked at me and nodded towards a room. "Go."
"No you asshole." He grabbed my arm and pulled me up.
"Get off!"
"Katerina." He looked at her.
"Adeline please." She looked at me. I pulled my arm away from him and slammed the door of the bedroom.
Eventually, Klaus let me out and I glared at him while I went to sit down.
"Where's Maddox? He should be back by now." Klaus started to pace.
"I don't know." Katherine gulped down. Klaus sat down and opened a laptop, Jules was lying on the floor, rolling around.
"What are you doing? Where's Elena?" Katherine asked again.
"You took Elena." My heart dropped and Klaus smirked.
"I sent her off with Greta." He smirked. "It's almost time." The door opened and Damon walked in.
"I wasn't aware you'd been invited in," Klaus growled.
"I've come here to tell you that you have to postpone the ritual," Damon smirked.
"Didn't we already have this conversation?" Klaus glared at him.
"Yeah, but that was before I rescued your werewolf and vampire and killed your witch." He smiled at me and I knew what he meant.
"Excuse me?" Klaus stood up and glared at Damon.
"And you can kill me for it. I don't care. It was all...me." He gloated.
"Katerina, give us a moment." She looked at us and left.
"I've heard about you. The crazy, impulsive vampire in love with his brother's girl and my girl. I knew one of you would try to stop me. It was just a 50/50 guess on who." He threw the phone that had the video of Jules at him. "The nice thing about werewolves is they tend to travel in packs. Need a closer look?"
"Jules." Damon breathed out and I gave him a sympathetic look.
"When you spend a thousand years trying to break a curse...You learn a thing or two. First rule...always have a backup. Backup werewolf. Backup witch." Klaus kept getting closer.
"Backup vampire." Damon breathed.
"I've got that covered, too," Klaus smirked and broke Damon's neck. As soon as he did that I ran for the door but Klaus slammed it in my face from behind.
"And where do you think you're going." He asked from behind.
"Anywhere," I told him.
"How about a quarry." My eyebrows knitted in confusion but before I could ask he snapped my neck.
