Another peaceful day at the Beigoma Academy with Valt being scolded by his teacher again for drawing Beyblades during class and Shu and (Y/N) sighing at him from their seats. Suddenly the principal announced something from the speaker...
🔊 "May, I have your attention please. Next week the school is going to an educational trip to the nearby mountains. The students are required to pack the necessary stuff for a 3 days and 2 nights camping trip along with a notebook and writing materials. And for the Beybladers, you all are allowed to bring your Beyblades for the trip too.
Thank you."
"YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!" A loud happy cheer could be heard throughout the entire school except the students like Shu and (Y/N) who had to cover their ears.
Timeskip to after classes and when the beyclub is on the rooftop
"Guys I'm so excited for the trip!" Honcho exclaimed happily.
"Though it would have been a lot more better if we could just have a stay in a 5 star hotel." Wakiya said rolling his eyes.
"Oh shut up, goldilocks! We are going there to connect with nature more." Honcho said rolling his eyes.
"Yeah, whatever." Wakiya scoffed.
"Hey Ken, you are coming with us too, right?" Daigo asked looking over at him.
"Of course, we are!" Keru said.
"We are also excited!" Besu exclaimed.
"Guys, I'm gonna bring my special beybreads. I'll bake them myself." Valt grinned as everyone nervously sweat dropped.
"(Y/N), you'll be there too, right?" Shu asked.
"Me? I'm not sure." She said as everyone looked at her.
"But why are you not sure?!" Valt asked taking her hands in his and making puppy dog eyes.
"Yeah, it's an educational trip after all, you should come too." Daigo said.
Everyone other than (Y/N) nodded in agreement.
"........." The female just remained silent. Shu walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder and asked,
"Is there something bothering you?"
(Y/N) silently nodded.
"Tell us, then!" Valt half yelled.
"VALT!!!" Honcho, Daigo, Wakiya, Keru and Besu scolded in unison.
"Take it slow, Valt."
Shu said calmly and focused his attention back on (Y/N).
"It's just that I've never been to the mountains...and I am scared of sleeping alone in the tent in the middle of the forest." She explained rather quietly.
"It's because of that!" Valt exclaimed, confusing (Y/N).
"We have to sleep in groups of two. Not alone in the tents." Daigo explained.
"So what do you say (Y/N)? You coming for the trip?" Honcho asked.
"I guess." She replied making the beyclub smile.
"Then it's decided." Keru said happily.

The beyclub was sitting in the same bus, with the other students of the class and two teachers and principal Shinoda sitting in the front. And guess what? The to-be-couple was sitting side by side.
"So you would have brought Spryzen along too, I assume?" The (h/c) girl asked looking over at the albino beside her.
"Yeah. I would train in the spare time." Shu smiled looking back at her.
"Don't forget to have my beybreads, too Shu and (Y/N)." Valt said putting his head in between them as they just nervously smiled.
"Y'know Valt I'm on a diet." (Y/N) said rubbing her hand at the back of her neck.
"Yeah me too Valt." Shu replied the same.
"Aww..." Valt said sadly and went back to his seat.
"Phew we are safe." The female sighed.
"Yup. Eating Valt's cooking is like trying to invite death." Shu sighed too.
What they didn't know was everyone else in the bus was discreetly staring at them with a smug look on their faces. They were thinking...
'These two like each other. We just need to make them confess to each other.'

The school buses reached their destination. The mountains were looking beautiful.
Principal Shinoda walked up to the front and announced...
"Alright students. As soon as I announce who your partners are, you should go with him/her and set up your tents."
He took out a notebook from his pocket and began...
"So here are the duo names...
Valt and Honcho
Daigo and Ken
Wakiya and Hoji
Shu and (Y/N)....."
They didn't bother to hear the rest of the names and so they went to the teachers who showed them where to set up their tents.
Shu and (Y/N) were setting up their tent when (Y/N) spoke,
"Hey Shu, don't you think it's a bit weird that we both are partners?"
"Why are you saying this?" The albino asked as he looked over at the female helping him.
"I mean all the others are like boys and boys and girls and girls but we..."
"I don't see any problem with that." Shu said simply.
The entire class was looking at them with smirks on their faces.
For the whole day Shu and (Y/N) did things together like collecting logs for the camp fire, cooking lunch, roasting marshmallows, etc.
Shu let (Y/N) watch him while he trained with his bey and also gave her some advice regarding the battles. They walked around the forest too, making their notes together and subconsciously enjoying each other's company.
This was confirmed when Shu refused to battle with Valt and chose to mentor (Y/N) instead. It was finally night.
The duo laid down in their tents before Shu noticed that (Y/N) was shivering.
"Hey, are you alright?" He asked out of concern.
"Yeah." She replied but it was clearly visible that she wasn't.
"You're shivering. Are you cold?" Shu questioned again. She shook her head.
"Then what's the matter?"
"Is it really safe to be staying in the forest like this? What about the animals? What if they attack?"
"Oh (Y/N). Why do you think the school would have brought us here if it wasn't safe?"
He smiled reassuringly. She was like Valt. So childish and innocent.
She nodded and said, "Yeah, you're right. Good night Shu!"
"Good night (Y/N)." Shu said and went to sleep.
The next morning:
No one's P.O.V.
It was another day of making notes so once again Shu and (Y/N) were walking in the forest looking for some good plants or animals to take notes on. And....the beyclub was secretly following them.
With the beyclub:
Valt: "Guys when do you think they'll confess to each other?"
Honcho: "That's why we're here Valt! We have to help them with their confession!"
Daigo: "So do any of us have a plan?"
Wakiya: "I have the perfect plan. We just need to put one of them in a set up trouble and then they'll confess to each other."
Keru: "It sounds like a terrible cliché to me."
Besu: "Maybe it'll work?"
Honcho: "But what kind of trouble should we put them into?"
Wakiya: "One of you should become a wild bear and go attack on them. But don't hurt them."
Honcho: "Well since it's your idea why don't you play the part yourself?"
Wakiya: "The actors have to act. The director only directs."
Valt: "I'll be the bear then!"
Daigo (whispers to Ken): "I have a feeling this plan will be a complete flop."
Ken (whispers back): "Me too."
Now back to our couple...
"Hey Shu! Look how cute those squirrels are!" (Y/N) exclaimed pointing to two squirrels on a tree branch.
"Yes they are." Shu smiled looking at them.
"Let's write something on them." She suggested.
"Sure."
They began writing as a few birds and butterflies also came to accompany the squirrels making the scene look more beautiful. After 30 minutes of writing, the (h/c) girl spoke up,
"Shu let's go back. It's getting late."
"I guess you are right." Shu said looking at the sky. It was afternoon.
They started heading back until...Valt jumped out of the bushes in a teddy bear costume and tried to scare them.
"Valt is that you?" (Y/N) asked narrowing her eyes.
"No. I'm a wild bear and I'm gonna attack you so RUN!" He said trying to sound different.
"Animals don't talk, Valt. 😑" Shu said as the other two sweat dropped.
The beyclub hiding in the bushes just face palmed themselves.
"Hehe I guess you figured it out." Valt said sheepishly as he walked up to them.
"Of course, we did." (Y/N) said standing forward and in front of Shu.
Suddenly Valt tripped and accidentally pushed (Y/N) causing her to fall on Shu and....................kiss him...................right...on...the...lips...
Both their faces turned a bright red as (Y/N) quickly stood up and ran away from there. Shu got up too but was all flustered.
The beyclub got out of the bushes glaring at Valt who was nervously sweat dropping in a corner.
"Look what you did!" Wakiya and Honcho yelled in unison. Valt made a sad expression and looked down.
"Don't scold him guys. I....I will talk to her at night.
The others looked at him with wide eyes as Valt asked him,
"Are you sure, Shu? I did mess up bad."
Shu nodded and said, "I'm sure. Just don't do anything like that again."
The beyclub quickly nodded in agreement when they saw the angry fire in Shu's eyes.
Timeskip to night, cause I'm feeling lazy 😪. Btw, everyone else in the class also came to know about what our wonder boy did.
Shu's P.O.V.
Okay. I told everyone that I'm gonna talk to (Y/N), but...how?! What am I supposed to say to her?
Alright Shu. Take a deep breath. You just have to go and talk with (Y/N). How difficult can it get?
I walked in our tent and saw her lying down, in her sleeping bag, facing the other side. Okay, here goes nothing...
"(Y/N)....?"
"Hmm...Shu? Is that you?" She asked turning over and now facing me.
Then she opened her eyes, took a glance at me and then quickly turned her face away with a......blush......?.....
Aww she really looks cute with a red face.
No one's P.O.V.
Shu moved closer to (Y/N), now sitting beside her. Then he began...
"Hey, um, I wanted to talk about....what Valt and the beyclub did today..."
(Y/N) just kept quiet as Shu continued...
"Look, they've apologized for what they did. Especially Valt. So, um, what do you say?"
The girl still maintained a stony silence. Shu sighed and said,
"Y'know sooner or later you'll have to face the music. So let's just talk this out now."
She finally spoke up...
"I'm not mad at Valt or the beyclub or anyone. It's just that..................kiss.....we did
...." She trailed off.
Hearing that Shu's face heated up too as he moved back to his sleeping bag and (Y/N) once again turned over facing him.
"Well....to be honest.....I kinda liked it." He admitted, his face facing upwards.
"W-WHAT?!" She gasped in shock.
"Yeah and I.......kinda want more of it...............I want to kiss you more........" He said his voice growing quieter.
A heavy blush made its way up to (Y/N)'s face as she whispered,
"You really want more of it?"
Shu subconsciously nodded, not noticing (Y/N) getting closer to him. What left the boy in utter surprise was when he felt a pair of soft and warm lips on his.
Both of them blushed crimson like Shu's eyes. Then when (Y/N) was about to pull away, Shu wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her in once more as he turned to his side pulling her along and kissing her again.
(Y/N) was the first to pull away as the two slightly panted, red resting on their cheeks.
Then they smiled and both of them said it simultaneously,
"I love you."
"I love you."
They widened their eyes and let out a laugh before Shu said,
"I guess we both always had feelings towards us, huh?"
"Yeah...and hold on a sec....do you think...Valt and the others were trying to get us to confess to each other....?...."
"I guess it worked." Shu chuckled.
"So what do we do about it?" (Y/N) questioned tilting her head to her side.
"We'll deal with all that stuff tomorrow...for now..." Shu cupped her face and placed kisses all over, making the girl giggle.
"I just want to sleep peacefully with my girlfriend." Shu smiled lovingly at her.
"Okay..." (Y/N) said now resting her head on his chest as Shu placed her in his bag along with him.
"Good night, Shu." She said closing her eyes.
"Good night, (n/n)." Shu said pecking her head and drifting off to sleep.
