Cheryl's POV
I stayed back at Val's house last night while they went handled the situation with Eric/Bryant. But of course, when they came back, they gave me the rundown from beginning to end. Even the part on how Cassandra had him in a chokehold until he signed the divorce papers for both Angela and Michelle. Today is the day that we all leave for Bali. Angela stayed with us at Valerie's house last night, and surprisingly the girls loved it. Everyone is still sleeping, so I took the time to cook breakfast and call Steven who was our personal pilot to make sure everything was ready to go. Breakfast was almost finished, so I decided to wake everyone up. I started with the girls, since they were the hardest, especially Doe and Jacky to wake up.
*Knock Knock*
"Come in." Karen spoke
"Good morning, breakfast is ready." I spoke as I kissed her on the forehead
"Good Morning, we'll be down once Tam gets out the shower." Karen replied
"Let me get these two up." I replied as I listened to Doe and Jacky snore
"Good luck with that. I even kicked them, and Tam tried the pillow method, and it didn't work." Karen told me
"Which is why I'm going to use this method." I spoke as I popped my arms
"What method is that?" Karen asked
"For this one? I use this." I replied as I yanked Doe up out of the bed
"I'm up!" Doe yelled
"Go wash your face and then go eat breakfast." I told her
"Lenita! Get up." I yelled as I punched her in the leg
"What the f-!?" She yelled but stop after realizing it was me
"Go head and finish." I encouraged her
"Auntie Cheryl, I thought it was Karen or Tam." She replied
"Go get washed up and come eat breakfast." I told her as I walked out
I headed to the room that Angela was sleeping in which was right across the hall from the girls. I knocked in case she was still sleeping or in the shower.
"Come in." She answered
"Hi, Good Morning Angela." I spoke
"Hi, Good Morning Cheryl." She spoke back
"I just came to tell you that breakfast is ready if you wanted to join us." I told her
"Thanks, I'd love too. This baby won't let me forget if I don't eat." She joked
"Okay, I'll leave to finish getting ready and I'll see you down." I spoke as I headed out
"Wait Cheryl, can I talk to you about something?" Angela asked
"Yeah, sure what's up?" I replied
"I think it's best that I go back home. I don't want you and the others, especially the girls to be harmed in any way. I'd beat myself up if anything were to happen." She spoke
"Angela, you are not leaving. Nothing is going to happen to you or any of us. Trust me. You're in great hands." I reassured her
"Thanks Cheryl." She replied
"No problem. Now let's go eat, so we can head to the airport." I told her
"About that. Val never told me where we're going. Plus, I didn't pack anything." She spoke
"For one, it's a surprise. Two, no need for packing, we already took care of that. See you downstairs." I winked as I headed out
I headed downstairs upon hearing multiple conversations, letting me know that Val and the others were awake. I walked into the kitchen and these hyenas were already digging in fixing plates before we even prayed.
"Oh, I just know I'm not seeing what I think I'm seeing. I know good damn well y'all aren't eating before we pray." I spoke startling everyone
"Well see, I was just- never mind." Cassandra and Val spoke
"It's a shame that the girls know not to eat before we pray. Even Doe, who we all know can eat us out of a house and a home is even waiting. Yet, I see you vultures pining like someone was starving y'all." I spoke looking at them
"But I'm hungry Cheryl, plus after last night I didn't eat anything." Yolanda whined
"To the table. Now." I said to them
"Where's Mrs. Dawns?" Jacky asked
"Here I am." Angela spoke walking into the kitchen
"Good Morning Mrs. Dawns." The girls spoke
"Good Morning girls. Everything okay?" She asked as she noticed everyone's faces
"Our moms just got in trouble for trying to eat before praying." Tam explained laughing
"I honestly don't see anything funny Tam." Val spoke
"We do." The girls laughed
"Now that Angela is here. Let's pray. Tam you wanna lead it?" I asked her
"Sure Auntie. Everyone bow your heads and close your eyes. Father God, we just want to thank you for this food we're about to receive. Bless the hands that prepared it and allow it to be a nourishment to our minds, body, and soul. In Jesus name we pray, everyone say Amen." Tam prayed
"Amen." Everyone agreed
"Now, can we eat." Cassandra asked
"Angela and the girls go first." Cheryl explained
The girls and Angela fixed their food and then the other ladies followed behind them. Doe had fixed her mom's plate since she had cooked everything
"Here mom, I made yours already." Doe said placing my plate in front of me
"Thanks baby." I replied
We all sat and ate breakfast with the occasional laughs throughout. After breakfast, I went to shower while everyone cleaned the kitchen and straightened up the house. Since we will be gone for three weeks, we didn't want to leave anything out of order.
*An Hour Later*
"Okay, everyone ready?" I asked
"Yes." They answered
"Let's go down the list. Cause I know how y'all can forget."
"Here she goes." Yolanda and Val mumbled
"Trash? Dishes?" I asked
"Karen and Tam did the dishes; Jacky and I took out the trash in the kitchen and the rooms." Doe replied
"Do y'all have everything packed?" I asked them as I fumbled in my pocket
"Yes Sargent. We do." Cassandra replied
"So, I guess you won't be needing this?" I asked as I threw her EpiPen at her
"Oh, thanks." She said as she placed it in her purse
"Doe, do you have your inhaler?" I asked
"All three of them."
"Alrighty, everyone out the door. Our driver is here with the van." I told them
"Where exactly are we going?" Karen asked
"You'll find out when we get there." Val told them
*At the Airport*
"Hello ladies. Look at the beautiful princesses." Steven spoke as we approached him
"Hi Steven; Hi Mr. Steven." We all replied back
"Oh Steven, this is a dear friend of ours Angela and this is Yolanda's sister Michelle." Val introduced them
"Nice to meet you ladies." Steven spoke shaking their hands
"Likewise." They replied
"Everything is ready on the jet so, if you're ready to board, you can go right ahead." Steven told us
We loaded the jet. Luckily Steven was able to get the bigger jet, with 5 bedrooms and the front area where the seats turn into beds as well. Let me just say every bed was comfortable as hell.
"Okay girls, our flight will be a little longer than usual, so your refrigerators are loaded with water, juices and plenty of snacks. We will be taking breaks in between so that way we can get a room so we can shower and eat some real food and for Steven to stretch his legs." Cheryl explained
"Okay, mom. It's almost time for my after-breakfast nap anyways." Doe replied as she headed to her room
"Okay ladies, pillows and blankets are in the overhead. We are all gassed up and we should be taking off in about 10 minutes. If you need anything, just ring the bell." Steven explained to us, but he kept his eyes on Angela
"Thank you, Steven." Angela replied
"Ohhhhh looks like someone is a little sweet on you." Chelle teased
"Yeah, in all of the years that we've known him, he's never acted this way." Cassandra spoke
"I don't think he likes me. Does he?" Angela asked
"Look. I know it's been a minute, but sweetie, that man likes you." Val and Yolanda spoke
"Let's get ready for takeoff. I need my vitamins and a nap." Angela spoke as she grabbed a pillow and a blanket
*36 hours later*
After taking breaks to eat, shower and stretch, we finally made it to our destination. The girls were sleeping seeing that it was 5 A.M, but I knew once we woke them and Angela up, sleep would be the furthest thing on their minds.
"Girls get up. We've landed. Come up to the front for second." Yolanda and I spoke waking them up
They made their way to the front still half asleep. Val had awakened Angela and now everyone was sitting down.
"Auntie Yolanda, where are we?" Karen asked
"Yeah, where are we. It's 5 a.m. in the morning." Angela asked as well
Cassandra pressed the call button giving Steven the signal to announce our destination
"Good Morning ladies, I know that this flight was a pretty long and tiring one. But I can finally say that we have landed and I'm sure you all will enjoy. Ladies I want to welcome you all to the beautiful island of Bali." Steven spoke
