Bright blonde locks fell over his eyes as the beauty adjusted his headset and microphone, ready to go on air in a minute - exactly sixty seconds. He cleared his throat, looking at his equipment and glanced out of the booth to see the sound engineer getting ready to go on air. The music played softly in the presenter's ears as he awaited his cue to introduce his segment of the radio show.

His sound engineer held up three fingers when it was time, counting down for the presenter whom was in his booth, knowing his cue by heart. The blonde beauty needn't look at the man as he closed his eyes, knowing exactly when he needed to start.

The neon sign flickered on, words reading "ON AIR", but the young blonde already knew his cue.

Opening his earthy brown eyes, his lips parted for him to speak.

"Welcome back to 97.9FM. You're here with J, keeping you company until five," his angelic voice introducing his segment as he mentally read the setlist for this afternoon.

Being a radio host was the perfect career for this man.  He was too shy to show himself in the work world. His beauty was too hypnotising. By working behind the microphone, nobody could see him and he didn't have to see anybody either. Besides the sound engineer and his boss, he barely interacted with anyone. That was what he prefered.

The young man spoke into the microphone, keeping his audience entertained for a good three hours. Of which, ninety minutes were just music playing.

The man so beautiful, so young and sweet. Early youth, just barely bloomed, at the age of twenty-one. A young flower, with so much more to learn about the wicked world.

So pure and untouched, his milky toned skin appeared to have no blemish. Blonde hair, his beauty strikingly fairy-like. The bright blonde fell over his forehead, completely hiding it away as his hair covered his eyebrows.

Luscious and red lips, scented with watermelon, and shiny to appeal to the eye.

Brown eyes, doe and sparkling, because his innocence ignited the spark in his eyes.

His soft and smooth cheeks, the shape of his cheekbone giving him a soft edge.

The nose, cute and button shaped, demanded to be booped.

The man was too pretty to be defined with just simple words. The aura which he radiated was that of innocence and happiness.

His work day was the same as always. The routine could have been boring but to him, he enjoyed the simplicity of working for just three hours a day.

Park Jimin was aged twenty-one. He was born into the Park family; a family with a legacy.

What is this legacy?

All the men before Jimin were in the police force. They worked in the police department, be it the simple officer or a detective.

However, Jimin was the first one to step away from the legacy, choosing himself and his safety over fighting to keep his city safe. The move may have been a little selfish to the other family members, but to him, it was the sane thing to do.

He knew how tough it was to live a life as the face of the law. He couldn't go around, exposing himself to dangerous situations when he knew just how defenseless he could be. He could never harm a fly.

So Jimin stayed in the shadows. He worked from his sound booth, barely exposing himself to the kinds of things that his father did.

Jimin's father, Mr. Park, was the Chief of Seoul Police Department. His daily life consisted of leaving for work before Jimin could even wake up. He worked hard on cases, although the Chief barely did handy work.

Jimin's father was the type to go all in. He put more effort into his job than he did for his own family, but he still loved them more than anything. However, his job was a priority, and neglecting his family was a sacrifice he made.

Jimin, however, knew he could never live a life like that. For him, it was too stressful. So, by keeping himself far away from danger as possible, Jimin stayed working from within the sound booth to the radio station.

That's because, nobody knew his name or his face. Nobody knew him, in conclusion. Besides his family, Jimin made no friends or socialized.

He wasn't an introvert, per se. He could be extremely friendly. But, he has trained himself to steer clear of strangers, because in his father's line of work, Jimin didn't want to fall into the hands of his father's rival. He just played it safe by sticking to himself.

When the segment to Jimin's show ended, he thanked his sound engineer. The next presenter came in with a smile on her face as she addressed Jimin, before the young blonde wore his sunglasses to step out of the radio station building.

The blonde had his car parked in the lot, waiting for him in the blazing sun for the past three hours. Although it was just after five in the afternoon, the sun was still beating down on the city.

Upon entering the car, the heat instantly began to surround him, enclosing him as he shut the car door. Removing his sunglasses and hooking it onto the collar of his shirt, the blonde immediately opened a few windows before he began to speed off.

The breeze filtered through his blonde strands, the sounds of wind smacking his ears as he drove down the familiar route. His home was only five minutes away, near the heart of the city and also, quite close to the police department for convenience.

Jimin couldn't have been more at peace as he drove down the city streets to his family's home. Living with his family was something that Jimin never really questioned. He didn't hate it.

But, he had no reason to hate it. It was just so familiar to him, that he found himself never questioning why he should leave. After all, his home life was peaceful.

Albeit the life he had was simple, he wasn't exactly fulfilled. He was happy, because life could have been worse, but at the same time, he wasn't fulfilled. He felt as if he was made for something greater. It wasn't his job or his parents that made life seem bland. It was the fact that besides these two aspects, he had nothing. No friends, no significant other, no joy besides family and work. And while that may have been the perfect life for some, he felt as if his true purpose was yet to be discovered.

However, the lovely Jimin had a sweet smile on his face as he pulled into his home driveway. Happy to see his aunt who stayed at home, Jimin hurriedly turned off the engine to his white 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. It was an old car, maybe to most people, but to Jimin, he loved this car.

The blonde exited his car and locked it, the automated rack and pinion gate closing now that he has entered. His home was tight with security; electric fencing and CCTV cameras installed.

The blonde waltzed up the porch and to his front door, using his set of keys to unlock the front door. Once inside, the scent of spicy food wafted through his senses, realizing that his aunt was indeed cooking.

His aunt, Minji, was Mr. Park's sister. Jimin just happened to be named after her, except the syllables were reversed.

There she was. Jimin's aunt, who was younger than his father, in the kitchen with her back faced to the doorway. She was preparing some spicy chicken for dinner, and Jimin instantly felt hungry after inhaling the scent.

However, the mischievous urge in him resulted in Jimin sneaking up behind her while she cooked. Then, he used his palms to cover her eyes from behind, startling her but not a single sound slipped her lips. This must have been a regular occurrence.

"Jiminie... I know it's you," her kind voice sounded in the kitchen, her movements halting as she waited for Jimin to remove his hands from her eyes.

Jimin smiled brightly behind her before removing his hands from over her eyes.

"Why can't you play along or get scared?" Jimin asked her with a small, playful pout.

She turned around to look at him, removing her apron as she took in his childish pout. To her, Jimin would always be the little boy she grew up.

"How do I get scared when your tiny hands cover my eyes, Jiminie? Your hands have been covering my eyes for the past ten years. You know I know those chubby fingers like my favorite song," Minji said as she walked into the living room to check the time on the analogue clock that was hung up on the wall. The time read well after five in the afternoon.

"Come on, aunt Minji. I just want to give you a little scare," Jimin frowned as he entered the living room behind her, but instead, he plopped down on a couch, stretching like a teenager who just got home from school.

His shirt rode up a little, his body curving as he stretched before a short yawn was let out.

"Why are you so tired? You woke up at noon," Minji chuckled at the younger who laid on the couch, hugging a cushion to his chest.

"I was up till six in the morning," Jimin frowned, feeling tired as he laid on the couch.

His aunt shook her head in playful dismay. She wasn't really upset with him. She couldn't be. There wasn't a bone in her body that could be angry at Jimin for behaving like a young teenager because the man went through a lot.

His childhood was a bit darker than he would show. Losing his mother ten years ago really changed everything for him. That's when his aunt stepped in and started to mother him. Jimin was just eleven and needed the love of a woman to help him grow, especially since his father was always out working.

Mr. Park tended to drown his sorrows with work. After his wife passed away, he worked even harder, not realizing that his son lost his mother, just as much as he lost his wife.

Ever since Minji stepped in, she began to notice little changes in Jimin. Changes that made her question a lot of things, but also, what struck her were the things that didn't change.

As Jimin grew up, he hadn't actually grown. His physical appearance changed, as well as his mental understanding about life. But, his habits and his character in general, remained the same. He was still playful and innocent, slightly immature at times.

But then he would have his moments of maturity and Minji would just be confused. She learned over the years to not question it.

"And what were you doing till six in the morning?" she questioned before she returned back to the kitchen to check on the food. Jimin remained laying on the couch as he yelled back an answer.

"I worked on the radio set list for today... And then... I watched a princess movie," Jimin yelled back to her.

Minji wasn't even surprised. Jimin had always been different from other boys. He had a lot of...unique interests.

"And what movie was that?" she questioned, her voice yelling from the kitchen. Minji was always very involved in Jimin's life. She asked a lot of questions because Jimin loved to talk a lot. She liked to show her interest in the things he loved.

"...Beauty and the Beast," Jimin answered shyly as he blushed a little. He truly felt embarrassed to answer but he could never lie to his aunt.

The woman chuckled in her place, knowing well that Jimin loved the Disney cartoons. It really surprised her at first when she found out, but now, she was accustomed to his rather feminine attributes.

Jimin didn't get a chance to respond, though. The blonde beauty couldn't help but fall asleep on the couch as he thought back to the animated movie he watched this morning.

Belle, from "Beauty and the Beast" was a lot like Jimin in some ways. Smart, loves to read, and had her own idealistic fantasies. He related to her on some levels.

Little did the blonde beauty realize as he drifted into slumber that pretty soon, he would find the Beast to compliment his Beauty.
