*2 DAY TIME SKIP*
"so that's the one?" phil asks as i nod
we had found the wedding venue and we both loved it. it was in birmingham, after visiting mum the other day we drove around and phil really liked it aswell.
"i think i'm going to look at some dresses today." i say
"who with?" phil asks
"no one." i say
"you gotta take someone with you, to give you advice." phil says, "even i know that."
"i'll take one of the babies." i say
"but-." he tries to say
"i don't want to take anyone else." i say
"if that's what you want, which one?" he asks
"whatever one eats their breakfast the cleanest." i say
"lets go get them." phil says as i follow him out our bedroom and down the hall to the babies
"good morning!" i say turning on the light switch and seeing them all up, "who's hungry?"
"i'll get the girls." phil says walking over to cali's cot
i pick up bentley under his armpits and put him on my hip. he was a happy boy, always smiling. always giggling.
phil and the girls follow us down to the kitchen where i put bentley in his high chair and phil does the same with the others.
i go over to the island where the fruit bowl was and grab some grapes and two banana's. i take out three plates and start sharing it out.
suddenly i feel arms wrap around my waist from behind and phil kiss my neck.
"what's on the menu today chef?" he asks
i turn around to look at him, "fruit, toast and yoghurt. can you put the toast in? but not too dark."
"got it." he says
"addi no!" i shout looking over and seeing her hitting cali with her plastic fork
i walk over and take it off her, "that's not nice is it." i say
she whines and reaches out for the fork again, phil walks over and takes it from me.
"we don't hit." phil says which calms her down
"why does she listen to you?" i ask walking back over to where i was cutting up the fruit
"she loves me, who wouldn't." phil says winking
i bring the plate of chopped fruit over and evenly share it out, straight away it had got messy. they didn't understand what plates were for and started putting the fruit all over the trays.
phil gives them half a slice of toast each whilst i get the yoghurt and put it in three small bowls.
"here you are." i say whilst handing the last bowl to bentley
"can mummy and daddy go eat their food now?" phil asks them
they all seem pretty calm, so me and phil go back into the kitchen. we could still see them, but we weren't watching them like a hawk.
"what do you want?" i ask him
"i don't mind, whatever you're making." he says
"alright cereal." i say grabbing two bowls
phil walks back over to the babies to check on them.
"how are they?" i shout
"fine, they've eaten everything." he says
"already? they must've been hungry." i say
"i'll take them into the living room." phil says
"okay i'll bring yours in." i say
i walk into the living room with two bowls of cereal in my hands, i see phil sat on the floor leaning against the sofa. cali was trying to take his sock off, bentley was playing with his ear and addi was sat in the corner alone.
"what's up with her?" i ask
"time out, she slapped bentley's head." phil says
"she's not in the best mood today." i say
"i've got training in two hours, but why not you guys just come? the lads would love it." he says
"you sure?" i ask, "three toddlers screaming?"
"they'll be alright." phil says chuckling, "you could go dress shopping on the way back, i could drop you off in town with one of them and then i'll take the other two somewhere."
"good idea." i say
phil gets up and sits on the sofa beside me, we eat our breakfast whilst watching cali and bentley play and addi stay sat in the corner. she was making eye contact with us both and doing puppy eyes.
"i'll do it." i say getting up and walking over to her
i get on my knees infront of her and hold one of her hands.
"it's not nice to hurt people is it." i say, "never do it again okay?" i ask as she throws her arms up into the air
i pick her up and put her on my hip, i sit back down on the sofa and sit her on my lap. phil tickles her neck and she giggles.
"right lets go get those city kits on them." phil says standing up and taking both our empty bowls into the kitchen to wash up later
"you don't want to wear that do you." i say to addi
"heard that." phil shouts
"get the other two." i say walking out the living room and carrying addi up to her room
the babies all had their own kits, i get addi's out from the bottom draw.
*her kit*
soon enough phil and the other two babies walk in, i help get cali dressed.
*cali's kit*
*bentley's kit*
"you know you have to wear one too." he says
"not gonna happen, do i even own one?" i ask
"the one i got your for christmas." he says
"oh right, yeah. only if the after party can be at the cricket club." i say
"fine, just go put it on." he says as i go to our bedroom
*my kit*
"happy now?" i ask walking back into the babies room
"very nice darlin." phil says
"right lets go if you don't want to be late." i say picking cali up
i go downstairs and lock the back door, i sit cali down on the steps and put her shoes on. i grab my handbag and go out into the drive and put her in the car.
i hear screaming coming from the house so i leave her in there and quickly run in. i see phil trying to put addi's shoes on which is making bentley upset which is making addi upset.
i pcik up bentley and his shoes in my other hand and take him out to the car. i put him in his car seat and put his trainers on once hes strapped in.
i see phil lock the front door before walking out with a screaming child.
"addi you have got to stop crying." i say walking over to them, "let me take her."
i put her in her car seat in the middle of the other two as phil gets in the drivers seat.
"that was one of the most hectic mornings we've had in a while." phil says as i sit down in the front
"god they wear me out." i say putting my seat belt
"i'll get someone to help you at the grounds when i'm training." he says
"i think i'll need the help." i say
addi was now screaming, i cover my ears and turn back to look. her and bentley were fighting over a toy one of them must of brought from the house.
"no, give it to me." i say trying to reach
"give it to mummy." phil shouts
bentley hands it to me, i sit back down with the toy in my hand.
"seriously, how do you do that?" i ask
"do what?" phil asks
"they listen to you straight away." i say
"it's because they're used to you telling them off, so they think they can get away with it." he says
"are you saying i'm the bad cop?" i ask
"no, but cause i'm away sometimes. i don't tell them off as much." he says
"i guess." i say
*twenty minutes later*
"right kids, we're here." phil says
"i'll get the girls." i say getting out the car
