gareth walks back in with two plates of food, he hands me one before going to sit back down on the chair he slept in.
"good morning." dr wells says coming in the room
"morning." i reply
"how are you feeling?" she asks
"a bit better thank you, i have throw up but only once." i say
"sorry to say bit that will be quite a regular thing in your pregnancy. every test is perfect, you and your baby. no injuries or anything, so you are free to go whenever you are ready." she tells me
"thank you." i say
"just take it easy for a couple days, and try not get run over." she says as i giggle
"thank you doctor." gareth says before she walks over to my bed and double checks the machine
once everything is okay she walks out of the hospital room.
"so when do you feel like going?" gareth asks me
"now?" i ask
"let's say 20 minutes?" he says
"okay." i say
*skip 20 minutes*
"ready?" gareth asks me as we are both standing by the door of the hospital room
"yep." i say as he opens it for me
we both walk out and down the stairs to reception.
"thank you." i say to the lady
"thank you so much." gareth says after me
he walks me over to his car and helps me in the passage seat, i sit down holding my stomach as gareth walks over to the driver side. i shut the car door and put my seatbelt on. i message jack.

me: leaving now

gareth starts driving and joins the motorway, i sit back and look out the window watching as we pass cars.
"you okay?" gareth asks me
"yes." i reply looking forward again
"how does it feel to have a human inside you?" he asks
"surreal." i reply
"i bet." he says changing the gear
it takes about an hour to get there, he parks up in the car park outside st georges park.
"ready?" gareth asks me
"just about." i reply
i open the car door.
"let me come help you." he says
he reaches for my hand and i take it as he pulls me out of the car. we both walk to the entrance of st georges.
"i'll go find phil, to have a talk and to keep him out the way." gareth says leaving me in the main hall
i message jack to let him know i had arrived.

me: i'm here, in the main hall
jack💙: alright coming

i sit down on the sofa and wait for him to appear. sudeelinly i hear all the noise coming from the corridor, i turn my head and see jack, raheem, john, jordan and kyle.
they all run over to me as i stand up, jack gives me a hug.
"so it's true." he says pulling away as i nod
"you're gonna be an uncle." i say with a smile on my face
"the best uncle." he replies
"congrats y/n." kyle says giving me a hug
"thank you." i reply
"so we hear that phil might not be the dad." john says
"i don't know, it could be peter." i say
"i don't think he's mad at you anymore, you should talk to him." raheem says
"my best friend told me to not give in, he has stuff to apoligise to me for aswell. i think i'm going to leave it.
"maya this, maya that." jack says
"she's the one who has been by my side through all of it, i think i'm going to trust her." i say
"but if you talked to him you could get your relationship back." jack replies
"i don't want to talk about it right now." i say
"boys, out on the pitch please." lee says, "y/n you're back!"
"sure am." i say as he walks over to us
"how are you feeling?" he asks me
"i'm guessing you know." i say
"know what?" he says
"that i'm pregnant." i say
"you're pregnant?!" lee says, "that's great news, congratulations!"
"thank you." i say smiling at him
"come out then and watch." he says
"oh i don't know." i say
"phil isn't gonna be there, he hurt his ankle." jordan tells me
"alright then." i say following them all out onto the training grounds
i sit on the bench i always sit on when i watch the boys train, but it doesn't feel right not watching phil. i rest my hand under my chin using it as a support and just think about everything that has happened, i can't even remember the last few days.
in the corner of my eye i see someone sit next to me, i look over and it's phil. he was already looking at me trying to make eye contact.
"hi." he says
"hey." i reply looking down
"look y/n." phil says before i cut him off
"shh." i say grabbing his face and smashing my lips onto his.
