Dreams and floats into a window, where a little girl is in bed, hugging a stuffed unicorn in her sleep. The Dreams and swirls over her head, and morphs into a little girl riding a unicorn. The girl smiles at the lovely dream as it flies around the room. Then the room darkens as a wispy, shadowy figure with a familiar laugh crawls out from under the bed, and rises up. It's Hypnos...........
- Hypnos, the Nightmare King -
He notices the little girl's dream.
Hypnos:" Ohhhh, I thought I heard the clippity-clop of a unicorn. What an adorable dream!" he said with a soft expression on his face.
Hypnos then leaned closer to the little girl who was sleeping in her bed.
Hypnos:" And look. At. Her. Precious child. So sweet, so full of hope and wonder. Why, there's only one thing missing...a touch of fear?" he asked with a sadistic smile appearing across his face.
Hypnos reaches into the little girls dream, and touches a bony finger to the unicorn. It turns ashen and black, and disintegrates. The little girl flinches in her sleep. Hypnos snickers, delighted.
Hypnos:" Hahaha! That never gets old!" he said with a evil grin.
Hypnos swirls the Dreamsand around and it all turns into black corrupted Nightmare sand.
Hypnos:" Feel your fear. Come on. Come on, that's right." he said with a smirk on his face.
The black sand morphs into a horrific, shadowy bucking horse. He gleefully grabs the Nightmare'smane and smirked.
He sends it out the window, where it joins a posse of other Nightmares coursing through the village. They take off and fly into the night sky.
Hypnos:"Yesss. What a pretty little Nightmare. Now, I want you to go tell the others the wait is over. " he said with a smile.
Hypnos teleported himself outside of the room and was now floating in the sky with a sadistic grin on his face as the moon was glowing behind him.
Hypnos turned to the moon with a bored expression on his face.
Hypnos:" Don't look at me like that, mother. You must have known this day would come. My Nightmares are finally ready. Are your Guardians?" he asked with a grin on his face.

Ostara had now a bored look on her face as Weiss made her way towards the other Guardians.
Two elves backed away from Weiss as they didn't want to get stomp by her white heels.
Weiss sent them a warning glare as the two elves ran out.
North:" You're here, Snowflake." he said with a welcoming smile on his face.
Weiss was moving her eyes to see Cadmus waving at her with a joyful smile on her face, Morpheus nodding and Ostara scoffing in despise.
North holds outhis arms to welcome to Weiss.
Weiss:"........................."
North then cleared his troath, before speaking up again.
North:" I hope the Yetis treated you well." he said with a bright smile.
Weiss:" Yes, about that I don't like to get grab against my will. So-" she pointed her index finger outside as North look up to see his Yeti workers frozen into Ice statues.
North laughed akwardly as Ostara just shook her head.
Cadmus then flew towards Weiss.
Cadmus:" Hello, Weiss!!! I've heard a lot about you. And your teeth!!!" she yelled happily as Weiss looked at her with a cold stare.
Weiss:" Stay away from my teeth." she warned Cadmus as Cadmus flew back and rubbed her hair akwardly.
Weiss:" Is anyone telling me why I'm here?" she asked.
Morpheus raised his staff as a bunch of images shows up.
Weiss:"That's not really helping. But thanks. I musta done something really bad to get you four together. Am I on the naughty list?" she asked.
North:" Oh, no you're as perfect as always." he said with a loud laughter as he pulled out the list as Weiss always appeared on the Good List.
Ostara:" As always." she said as she was disgusted by Weiss extreme and absolute perfection in everything.
North:" I will tell you what this is all about so open up your sweet ears.............. You're a Guardian!!!" he said with a bright smile on his face.
The remaining Yetis that didn't get froze by Weiss arrival, light ceremonial torches with a whoosh. elves leap from columns, unfurling homemade, celebratory banners as they descend. Weiss brushes off a few baby teeth who try to present her with a necklace made of paper snowflakes.
North:" This is the best part!" he said with a bright smile on his face.
An elf marching band strikes up, marching into the room. Two Yetis move jack on to a designated spot on the floor. Weiss looks down to find an elf pointing at her white heels. The elf then directs his attention to two approaching elves, carrying a pair of ceremonial boots.
A Yeti hands North an old large book. North blows off the dust, opens it, and begins clearing his throat. Weiss eyes narrow as she scans the room: The mini teeth fairies continue to fawn, Morpheus and Cadmus's smiling, Ostara's apathetic, and North looks on with pride.
Weiss eyes started glowing before she spoke up.
Weiss:" Stop it." she said coldly as the entire room was covered in ice.
The Guardians were unaffected, but the same couldn't be said about the elves and the Yetis.
Weiss:" Will becoming a Guardian be of any help to what I am looking for?" she asked to North.
North:" Of course it will, Music-" he was then interrupted by Weiss cold stare as it started freezing even more to the point the Guardians were starting to feeling it.
Weiss:" I don't want to be a Guardian, unless I get what I want." she said with a cold stare.
Ostara:" The door is right there." she pointed as Cadmus glared at Ostara's hostility for Weiss.
Cadmus then flew towards Weiss and summoned a mini version of the globe in her hands.
Cadmus:" Each of those lights is a child." she said.
Weiss looks up at the Globe, taking in the enormity of this. Northsuddenly moves to Weiss's side.
North:" A child who believes. And good or bad, naughty or nice, we protect them." he said.
Weiss moves away from the Globe and back toward the center of the room.
North:" Okay, no more wishy-washy! Hypnos is out there doing who knows what!" he said witha little bit of seriousness.
Weiss:" The Boogeyman?" she asked.
North:" Yes! When Hypnos threatens us, he threatens them as well. you were chosen like we were all chosen. By The Great Goddess Nyx." he said.
North points to the lights on the globe.
Cadmus:" Last night, Weiss. She chose you." she said.
Ostara:" Maybe." she said with hostility towards Weiss.
Weiss:" The Great Goddess Nyx talks to you?" she asked as she looks up to the skylight, taking in the awesome sight of themoon.
North:" You see, you can not say no. It is destiny." he said.
Weiss:" But why, why wouldn't she tell me that herself? After 2 years staying in this place this is her answer? To spend eternity like you guys cooped up in some, some hideout thinking of, of new ways to bribe people? No no, that's not for me. No offense." she looking towards Ostara.
Ostara:" How is that not offensive? You know what I think? I think we just dodged a bullet. I mean, what's this tyrant know about bringing joy to children anyway?" she asked with a taunt towards Weiss as Weiss approached her as the air turned even more colder.
Weiss:" Have you ever heard of a snow day? I know it's no hard-boiled egg, but the people like what I do." she said.
Ostara:" But noneof them believe in you. Do they? You see, you're invisible, mate. It's like you don't even exist." she said with a smirk.
Weiss eyes narrowed.
Cadmus:" Ostara! Enough!!!" she yelled.
Weiss snapped her fingers shutting up Cadmus.
Weiss:" No, the courtesan is right." she said with a smirk referring to what Ostara was wearing.
[ A/n: Courtesan is an euphemism for a mistress or prostitute.]
Ostara:" C-Courtesan? What did you call me? I'm no Courtesan, mate." she said.
Weiss:" Oh. And this whole time I thought you were. If you're not a Courtesan, what are you?" she asked with a smirk.
Ostara:" I'm the bunny, The Easter Bunny. And People love me. Does anybody even love you, Madame Oppressor? What it's in your blood isn't it? Did I touch a strong argument? My dear Forsaken, you're gonna cry?" she asked with a taunting smirk as she was referring to Weiss being technically an orphana and had nobody to back her up, to add the salt she called her an Oppressor as if she was comparing her to her father.
Weiss eyes started twitching as she went to pull out her Rapier, until Morpheus nudges at North to stop the situation before it turns out for the worse.
North:" Weiss.Walk with me." he said.

Weiss and North ride an elevator, bearing the resemblance of a Christmas ornament, down to the factory floor.
Weiss:" It's nothing personal, North. What you all do, it's just, it's not my thing." she said.
North:" Nyx says it is your thing. We will see!" he said with a smile.
Northstorms through factory floor, as Weiss followed him.
North's factory is bustling with activity: Yeti's are building toys, moving packages, while Elves are test piloting the various flying toys. As Weiss walks behind North, surveying the factory, a duck toy suddenly flies over Weiss's head. Weiss ducks just in time and continues after North.
Weiss:" I always thought the elves made the toys." she said.
North then leaned closer to Weiss ear.
North*whisper*:" We justlet them believe that." he said.
Weiss looks over to see a group of elves eating Christmas ornaments and another electrocuting himself with Christmas lights. North smiles and calls to them.
North:" Very nice! Keep up good work! Step it up, everybody." he said with a bright smile as him and Weiss stepped into North's Office.
Weiss follows North into his office. There are shelves filled with toys. Sketches and prototypes everywhere. North dusts his hands and turns to Weiss. His sleeves are rolled. Weiss notices that on one of North's forearms is tattooed the word NAUGHTY, and on the other, NICE. North grabs a plate from a nearby elf.
North:" Fruit cake?" he asked to Weiss.
Weiss glared at the plate and it froze.
North sighed as he dropped it, causing it to shatter.
North:" Now we get down to tacks of brass! Who are you, Weiss Schnee? What is your center? If the Moon chose you to be a Guardian, you must have something very special inside." he said to Weiss.
Weiss:" Well, I'm the Winter Maiden, One of the Four Most Powerful Beings in Remnant." she said calmly.
North stands up straight and begins to stroke his beard as he gives Weiss a curious look.
North is standing in front of a shelf of Russian nesting dolls. One is carved to look like North himself.
North:" Here. This is how you see me, no? Very big, intimidating. But if you getto know me a little well, go on." he said as he handed the nesting doll to Weiss, who took it.
Weiss gives North a curious look,then she twist the doll in half and inside is another carved North Doll, this one is more typical Santa Claus with red cheeks and a cheering smile.
Weiss raised an eyebrow.
The dolls get progressively smaller as she twists them open, all versions of North, but all slightly different. , Weiss looks down and drops the final Russian doll into the palm of North's hand. It's the size of a jelly bean.
North:" I am also mysterious. And fearless. And caring. And at my center..." he said.
Weiss:" You have....... Big Eyes?" she asked.
North:" Yes! Big eyes. Very big. Because they are full! Of wonder! That is my center. It is what I was born with. Eyes that have always seen thewonder in everything!" he said with an happy and joyful tone.
North raises his hands, and the toys on the shelves suddenly springto life.
Toy trains speed around the room, soldiers march about, toy planes fly overhead. An elf gets carried aloft by a balloon. A flying toy plane glides by and we follow it as it makes its way around the room. A Christmas tree is ablaze with bright lights. Two double doors suddenly open as the flying car enters the factory floor.
North:" Eyes that see lights in the trees and magic in the air!" he said with a bright smile.
As it crosses the frame, dozens of other toys are now flying around the massive chamber. It's a truly magical moment. North now stands outside his office, with Weiss at his side.
North:" This wonder is what I put into the world, and what I protect in children. It is what makes me a Guardian. It is my center. What is yours? " he said with a smile on his face.
Weiss looked down.
Weiss:" I want to protect the world." she said as North went to grab her by her shoulder.
Then, something suddenly jets past a window outside. Almost simultaneously, Cadmus and Morpheus teleported themselves in the office.
Cadmus:" North!!! We got a problem!!! It's about my palace!!!!!" she yelled in sadness as North was shocked aswell as Weiss.
