The Young Hunters, Qrow Branwen and Maria Calvera were now standing outside the military base, after Yang said a bad pun at the guards.
Yang:"Come on, you haven't even made us talk !!" she yelled angruly.
Guard:"Our orders are very clear! The border between Mistral and Atlas is closed. With permission, we wish you a good day!"
Yang:"But-" she was then interrupted by the second guard.
Guard 2:"A good day!!!"
Qrow:"Look if you don't want to believe me when I say I'm a friend of Ironwood-" he was then corrected by the two guards.
Guards:"General Ironwood!!!"
Qrow:"Yeah, General Ironwood, I get it. Weiss Schnee is still here with us, and we will be happy to accompany her home safely."
The guards then looked at each other and back at the Young Hunters, Qrow Branwen and Maria Calavera.
Guards:"Come forward."
Weiss then looked at Qrow, ho just shrugged before she started making her way towards the Guards.
Guards:"Very well. You can speak to our commander. We will go to call her immediately. Atlas! Atlas! Atlas!!!" the two guards then left to enter the military base.
Blake:"They didn't seem to you, a little ..."
Sun:"Completely out of their mind? A little."
Maria then put an hand to her chin and was in her thoughts.
Oscar then looked at Maria in confusion.
Oscar:"What is wrong?"
Maria:"Well, here ... I may know this commander."
Ruby:"That's good news, isn't it? Perhaps she will be more willing to help us, since you are friends."
Y/n:"Here you see, 'friends' is not exactly the term I would use. Or colleagues. I would say more like ..."
Maria:"Enemies, yeah. That's the one!!"
Oscar:"Seriously?" he asked in surprise.
Maria:"But yeah, I come here every ten years or so to go and check Atlas's eyes. I swear, just take two cashews on the plane once and you're branded for life with a double cycle of security checks on each flight!"
Qrow:"You gotta be kidding me."
Jaune:"Why can I somehow relate from that? Except the whole security stuff." he said glaring at Yang, Weiss, Nora and Ren, who looked down in embaressement, still remembering how they treated him. And even do is a silly thing that Maria had just said, it just bring back, some memories he was trying to get away from his head.
Maria:"Come on, don't despair. Maybe she is dead."
Jaune:"This bringing back some dark thoughts too."
Y/n:"Jaune, don't do any of the stuff you're thinking right now, youre better than this, come on." she said clearly reading his thoughts.
Jaune:"I just thought about it for a second, it's not like I'm going to do it."
Then the gates of Argus opened as the guards then walked up to the Young Hunters, Qrow Branwen and Maria Calavera.
Guards:"Here you go, the special agent, Caroline Cordovin!"
Caroline Cordovin then made her presence known as she walked up to Maria and glare at her straight in the eyes.
Caroline:"Witch."
Maria:"She-devil."
Caroline then looked at the young Hunters and Qrow Branwen.
Caroline:"I see you've chosen larger contraband items this time."
Maria just smiled.
Maria:"Ah, Cordo ... Popular wisdom says that people change over time, but apparently you haven't yet freed yourself from the stake you have up your-" she was then interrupted by Ruby.
Ruby:"Greetings!! Madam ... Mrs.Cordovin ... My name is Ruby Rose and I wanted to ask you if we could talk about-" she was then interrupted by Caroline.
Caroline:"I see you associate with killer of the best project Atlas ever created and a delinquent, Miss Rose. Are you still here?!? You should be arrested !!! Arrested !!!!!!!" she said pointing at both Jaune and Yang.
Then the guards went to grab Jaune and Yang, until Qrow stood in the way.
Qrow:"Hold on!! Hold on!!! The kids were set up!!!! They were set up, alright?!?"
Ruby:"They are actually good people."
Y/n:"Jaune is good, but you can take Yang if you want." she said with a smile as Yang just got mad.
Yang:"Excuse me?!?!?"
Y/n:"Hey, I'm just saying..."she shrugged.
Caroline:"It is clear that you civilians are unable to understand the importance of our mission in Argus. Let me explain it to you, slowly in simple words. This base, the CCTV repeater and Argus' security itself are all generous gifts from the glorious Kingdom of Atlas, and it is my job to watch over them, since no one else has the wit and tenacity needed."
Guards:"Ah, what a wit! Ah, what tenacity !!!"
Maria:"Or maybe Atlas was dying to send you as far away from the Kingdom as possible."
Caroline then got angry.
Caroline:"You are identical to the rest of these ungrateful here at Argus !!! Without our Argus ancestors, this city wouldn't even exist and what is the reward? The whole world is just waiting for the right moment to slit our throats!"
Ruby:"Please, we know that Beacon's downfall is not your Kingdom's fault, we were there when it happened."
Weiss:"The embargo and the closure of the Atlas borders don't please anyone, but I know that General Ironwood is just worried. For this we must speak-" she was then interrupted by Caroline.
Caroline:"The general isn't a coward at All! Atlas is a strong kingdom !!! If the other realms insist on having us as enemies, then so be it! Atlas will triumph !!!"
Guards:"Atlas will triumph!!!!"
Y/n:"Do you really have to do that little theater?" she asked with her arm crossed and raise an eyebrow.
Caroline:"If Miss. Schnee has truly come to her senses and wishes to return to her family, it will be the pleasure and privilege of Atlas' army to accompany her back home. Her kingdom, however, will not take charge of some of her 'friendships' of nature ... let's say questionable. ..." she said glaring at both Sun and Blake.
Blake then raised an eyebrow as Sun tilt his head.
Blake:"Excuse me? What is that supposed t mean?" she asked angrily.
Sun:"Yeah, are you trying to say something?" he asked too in anger.
Caroline:"The discussion is over, bye bye." she said as her and her guards walk back inside the base as the gates closed.
Blake and Sun were both angry, as Nora then tried to insult Caroline.
Nora:"Oh yeah? Well, you're a ... an ugly old slipper face !!" she yelled angrily as Ren rolled his eyes.
Jaune:"Nora, master of insults." he said sarcastically as he sighed, before he noticed Y/n eyes glowing purple.
Jaune*whisper*:"You have got a plan?"
Y/n*whisper*:"I always have one. We'll find our way to Atlas, but everyone have to do their part right. Together."
However she then noticed that Qrow Branwen was nw walking away angrily.
Ruby:"Where are you going, Uncle Qrow? What do you have in mind?"
Qrow:"The plan has just pulled us a kick in the ass and said 'Goodbye, guys'. I'm going to have a drink."
Ruby then followed, Qrow.
Ruby:"Uncle Qrow, I really think we should try to come up with something ... together."
Qrow however just scoffed before walking away from Ruby.
Sun:"What's wrong with him? It is certainly not your fault that we cannot continue."
Blake:"Well, if that's the story, we'll find another plan without him. Come on, Ozpin is with us. He usually knows what to do."
Oscar, however looked down at the floor.
Ren:"..............Oh, right, he is gone."

The young Hunters were now back at Saphron's house as Yang then punched the wall, leaving a crater.
Jaune:"Hey, this is my sister house!!! Who do you think you are to mess up, her house, huh?"
Yang:"Everything we did was useless!"
Blake:"That is not truth."
Weiss:"Oh really? Luckily, I had a different impression." she said sarcastically.
Ren:"If Salem can't be killed, how do we go about resolving the situation?"
Jaune:"Everyone please, you need to listen-" however Yang then cut him off.
Yang:"There is no,' everyone please listen', Arc! How do we get rid of Salem, that's the real question!!"
Jaune then sighed as he look over to Y/n who had her eyes closed and arm crossed.
Oscar:"Look, it's not a good situation, we know. But remember, the bad guys here aren't us. We have to work, together I think we have to listen to Mr. Arc-" he was then interrupted by Yang.
Yang:"And who says it?"
Oscar:"What?"
Yang:"He's inside your head, isn't he? Did you happen to know these things already? Do we want to continue to trust him? How do we know it's really him? What if we had always talked to that liar up until now?!?" she said before walking up to Oscar with her fist clentched ans Oscar start backing away.
Yang then went to punch Oscar, only for Y/n then get up the couch and punched her across the face knocking her towards the table.
Yang then got mad as she swing a punch towards Y/n who manage to dodge it and kneel Yang in the stomach causing her to hold her stomach and cough, before Y/n then slammed both of her fists on Yang's back knocking her in the floor.
Y/n:"You don't wanna learn tomorrow, you're gonna learn today!!" she then grab Yang by her jacket and dragged her out the house before trowing her out.
Yang then got back up as she glare at Y/n with red glowing eyes.
Y/n:"Go take a walk and return when you get your ideas, straight." she then slammed the door.
Oscar was now scared and almost was about to cry until Jaune tapped his shoulder.
Jaun*whisper*:"Warriors don't cry, remember and if we do we'll cry in silent without anyone watching."
Oscar*whisper*:"Y-Yeah, t-that's right." he then whipped the tears that were about to form on his face as he felt his mood light up a bit as he smiled.
Everyone was now quiet before Y/n then walked up upstairs, but before she could go she looked at each of them.
Y/n:"Once the others return, we'll start the plan." she then walked upstairs to rest as everyone was quiet, until Sun talked.
Sun:"Talking about catching these hands."
Blake then punched his shoulder to shut him up.
Sun:"S-Sorry."
Nora then sighed, before deciding to walked upstairs too, to rest.
Ren:"I think it would be better to take a few moments to be alone." he said before walking upstairs too.
Blake:"Yes, maybe we all need some space." she said as she walked in the kitchen to grab something.

Moments later, Ruby Rose was no outside trying to call for Qrow Branwen, but he still wasn't answering.
Ruby:"Come on, answer ... Where the hell are you?!?" she said angrily before putting away her scroll and sit in the stairs.
Maria:"And to think that I had gone out to avoid the screams." she said while reading a book next to Ruby Rose.
Ruby:"I'm sorry. The others went out to get some air, rest and go out to eat."
Maria:"Why don't you go join them then?"
Ruby:"I don't know. I don't know anything. Y/n had a great plan, but Yang got angry and wanted to attack Oscar and there was a fight and now......Uncle Qrow is out there drinking, Ozpin isn't coming back and even if he did, We don't know if we should trust him. There is always Jinn, but.....we really have one more question we can ask her. This group is failing, we can't work together without having problems between us."
Maria:"My girl, your mates must learn to be together to understand their mistakes. And try to correct them before it's too late."
Ruby*whisper*:"They can't even say sorry, let alone correct themselves."
Maria:"Just two of this group are mature enough for these type of situation the blonde knight and the black hair magician, you all still need to mature and understand that play time is over and stop bickering. If you're tired of not knowing nything, how about we discuss a little bit about these eyes of yours?"
Ruby:"Oh, yes, please!!! It will be an honor!!!"
Maria:"Oh, my goodness, make yourself comfortable. Let's talk from what you know. Come on, she says."
Ruby:"Well, Y / n told me that people who have silver eyes should be some kind of great warriors. I think. I don't remember much, I rarely listened to what she said to me. And during the Haven attack, my eyes activated twice."
Maria then raise an eyebrow before she then face palmed.
Maria:"Oh, boy."
Ruby:"Look, if I already knew everything I wouldn't be here asking for help!"she said crossing her mouth and pouting before Maria hit Ruby in the head with her cane.
Ruby:"Ow!!"
Maria:"Lower your tone, young lady. It is not your fault. I had my father teach me, and even he didn't know then answers, but what he told me made sense, given what I see."
Ruby:"Was he an Huntsman too?" she asked while rubbing her head.
Maria:"In his day, that of Hunter was not a real official title. To me he was just an old soldier and an amazing mentor. I have never attended one of those academies of yours, but on the license exam I got a better result than all the Huntsmen and Huntresses present."
Ruby:"You must have been proud."
Maria:"He would have told me I was straggling too much. He had never been able to find much information about our abilities. Just legends of warriors whose eyes shone like mirrors, illuminating the darkness with the reflected light of the world. Finding so little information made him suspicious. How was it possible that such a powerful trait was also so rare? The only explanation was that someone was trying to eliminate those who carried it."
Ruby:"Salem...." she said looking down at the floor.
Maria:"I tried my best to keep my powers secret, but as you well know, it wasn't enough. If I'm still alive I owe it to my training and my Semblance. In the end, those are always the most important tools at your disposal."
Ruby:"What is your Semblance?"
Maria:"Prefixes. A silly name that I came up with. It is difficult to explain but I can perceive everything more clearly and react to attacks almost before they arrive. Combine this Semblance with my training and the ability to petrify the Grimms. Or blind them. Or vaporize them. And you can understand why they called me 'The Reaper'!"
Ruby:"So ... the instructions to shoot lasers from the eyes at monsters?" she asked before she was hit in the head again.
Ruby:"Ow!!!"
Maria:"You can start by stop thinking about those terms. Think about all those times you have used your powers. What did those moments have in common."
Ruby:"I-I was scared and stressed...Is it emotional? Like, kinda unlocking your Semblance?£
Maria:"It is emotional, but more focused than that. Think, what is it you wanted?" she asked.
Ruby:"I wanted to protect my friends."
Maria:"Exactly. It is the desire to preserve life which feed the light inside you and don't make mistakes. It is light. Preservation is the extension of creation, or at the very least an enemy of destruction. The creatures of Grimm were made by Lord Rushu, but now they are controlled by Salem. But your light comes from the Gods."
Ruby:"How do you know that?" she asked.
Maria:"I always knew how to use the light, but never understood why it only ever worked on the Grimm. Until, Y/n told us a couple of things about the past. I hope you atleast heard about what she said of the past."
Ruby then closed her eyes as she nodded.
Ruby:"The Gods of the World of Ten, still didn't lose their hopes on us. Okay, how do we start?"
Maria:"Well, not here. The power can only work on the presence of the Grimms. Which means you'll training will be a trial by fire. But, what you can do is focus on creating a state of mind, whereyou can tap into when needed. Think of your lihgt as a mean to destroy evil. Aswell as protect the people of Remnant."
Ruby then nodded, before Jaune then called her out.
Jaune:"Ruby!!!"
Ruby:"What's going on guys?"
Weiss:"It's Yang, she.....she's not coming back."
Ruby eyes widen.
