It has been a month since you and Draco made up, things have been amazing, he's taken you out on multiple dates and he even bought you a Niffler, you named him Alchemy since he loved to sleep in your cauldron
You've gotten Draco to work on his issues with Harry, they even practiced for quidditch matches together now, well the ones they weren't playing against each other
You kept your promise to Harry and have slept over once a week, you even went to the Three Broomsticks, you loved having Harry back in your life full time and it was so much easier now that Draco wasn't bitching all the time
Lena and Luna are doing better than ever, Lena met Luna's parents and they absolutely adored her. Pansy and Theo's relationship was flourishing, Pansy created a news paper for Hogwarts students with all the latest drama and quidditch info with help from Theo. Blaise even found a girlfriend, a 6th year hufflepuff named Eleanor Branstone, they've been going out for a week and a half now and seem to be getting ok really well
With Hagrid's permission you took on the role of being Buckbeaks caretaker, you go to feed him and check on him everyday, you even get to go on flights whenever you want, which was a major perk, you took on the role of being his caretaker because you knew there wasn't much Hogwarts could offer you in terms of becoming an Auror, which is still your plan, but you decided to do something that made you happy while you're here
Harry now has a girlfriend, Parvati Patil, he said he would always love you, that you were his first love and you knew he wasn't lying, you were happy for him, he seemed to genuinely enjoy her and she wasn't a crazy ass bitch of a girlfriend who wouldn't let you have your sleepovers and friend dates with Harry
Your classes were going amazing, you had top marks in everything beating out Hermione by up to 6 points in some, you were even beating Draco out in potions, but that didn't last long at all
Everything was going swimmingly but there was one thing that bothered you, you knew it shouldn't given all the things he's done for you, but Draco never asked you to be his girlfriend, and it's been a month! You felt as though he might have doubts about you because of everything that happened but you hoped it wasn't the case
"Hi my love" Draco said kissing your head before sitting next to you in the library, my love was a new nickname he used for you ever since you two said "I love you"
"Hi Draco" you said giving him a warm smile
"I just wanted to ask if you were busy tonight?"
"No, why?"
"Becauseeee" Draco said dragging out the end of the word in a high pitched tone "I have a surprise for you"
"Oh? What is it?"
"I'm not telling you, that's why it's called a surprise" he said boopping your nose "do you think I'm that dumb?" he said chuckling
"Weeeeeeel" you said in a playful tone
"Hey!" Draco said punching your shoulder lightly
You kissed him smiling and laughing against his lips as he did the same
"What time is this surprise" you said pulling away from his face
"A little ways past dinner, I'll take you there myself"
"Okay" you said smiling at him
You turned your attention back to the work you were doing before Draco walked in the library, Draco decided to do work too, he pulled out his Transfiguration textbook examining the page on animagus's, Harry's godfather Sirius Black was an animagus so you knew quite a lot about them due to the story's Harry told and the time you've spent with Sirius himself, you used your knowledge to help Draco with his assignment so he didn't have to read the whole chapter
Some time passed before you were done with your work, you parted ways with Draco heading to the classroom that Pansy had turned into a press room for "Hogwarts Helping of Tea" the newspaper Pansy created
"How's it going Pans?" you asked peering over Pansy's shoulder to see what she was writing
Pansy blocked you from view of her typewriter "Hey, Hey, Hey no snooping, this is tomorrow's issue"
"Whatever" you said laughing as you sat in a chair next to her, Pansy had multiple students working on issues of the newspaper for different days of the week, she was scarily efficient but when someone messed up whooh let's just say you would not want to be them
You spent some time with Pansy telling her tea that you've overheard throughout the day, you told her about Harry's first kiss with Parvati, it will now be on the front cover of tomorrow's issue of "Hogwarts Helping of Tea", oops, maybe Harry will think it was just Ron and his big mouth
You stayed for 20 more minutes catching up with Pansy before hugging her and leaving to the quidditch field to watch, Theo, Draco, Harry, and Blaise practice, when you got there you found that Luna and Lena were there as well
"Hey girls" you said sitting down next to them
"Why hello Y/n" Luna said smiling up at you from Lena's lap which she was laying in
"Hey" Lena said side hug hugging you gently
"How are things looking" you said referring to the practice
"So far, Blaise is doing better than Harry who is doing better than Draco who is doing better than Theo"
"I assume there's been some unpleasant exchanges of words, mainly from Draco"
You said laughing as you looked over to find Draco cursing at Blaise "You bloody wanker you fucking broom checked me! I almost had the damn snitch!" Draco's outburst made you laugh even harder with Lena and Luna joining in
"Knock him off his broom Pottah!" Draco yelled at Harry who was closest to Blaise
"See!" You laughed out
"I- I know" Lena laughed out trying to catch a breath
"What are you laughing at Y/l" Draco yelled smiling at you before diving to find the golden snitch
After practice you headed back to Draco's dorm, which you now shared with him, and laid on his bed as he showered, once Draco was out of the shower and dressed he handed you a black box wrapped with gold and emerald ribbon
"What's this?" you said looking up at him with a soft smile
"I bought you something to wear tonight, open it" he urged you
You sat on the bed with the box in your lap carefully untying the bow as Draco sat next to you placing his arm around your lower back
You opened the box to find a beautiful flowy emerald green dress with a slit all the way up one side of it, the dress was made with layers of expensive material and the top was off the shoulder

The dress was accompanied by a pair of black block heels with a dainty strap at the top
To the left of the shoes sat a black satin box, you opened the box to find a pair of dangly diamond earrings accompanied by a diamond necklace with a dark green emerald hanging down in the middle of it, holy shit these must've cost a fortune
You stared at Draco in amazement "Draco you didn't have to do this-"
"I know I didn't, but I wanted to, you're my princess, my love, and should be treated as such"
You smiled at Draco and leaned over to kiss him "Everything is beautiful, thank you"
"Anything for you Y/n"
It was now dinner time and you and Draco headed down to the great hall hand in hand, it felt like dinner went by so slowly, you were too eager to see Draco's surprise
Dinner ended and you went back to Draco's room to get ready while he went off to wherever it was that he went off to, you wish you knew but alas you didn't, you hopped in the shower washing your hair, face, and body, once you got out and dried off you magiced your hair dry before throwing on a lacy black strapless bra and underwear to match, you slipped on the dress Draco bought you, it fit like a glove
You used your wand to style your hair in a braid crown that ended in a low braided bun, you left a few pieces out in the front to frame your face, you used a few glamour charms to put on some basic makeup, you decided to go with just a soft eyeshadow look and a lipgloss which highlighted the bright pinky red color of your lips, the lipgloss was transfer proof due to the fact it was put on with magic
You sat down on the bed slipping on your heels before putting on the necklace and earrings Draco gave you and looking in the mirror, you admired the way the dress looked on you, you felt confident in it like nobody could touch you
You heard a knock on the door before it opened
"Wow- Y/n- you look...absolutely stunning" Draco said walking over to you looking you up and down
You blushed "And you look very handsome" you said looking at Draco who was in an all black suit with an emerald green button-up shirt that matched the color of your dress, when did he have time to change???
"Ready to go?" He said offering his arm for you to take
You nodded placing your arm through his as you walked down the stairs and out of the common room, you had no idea where you were going, Draco was taking you a way you've never been before
"Close your eyes" Draco said moving behind you to guide you in the right direction
You did as he said closing your eyes and letting him take you to wherever you were going, you hear the noise of a key being inserted into a lock before feeling a slight gust of wind flow past you that you could feel blow your hair back
"Open" Draco said taking his hands off of you
You opened your eyes to see a table lit with candles in the middle of the most beautiful garden you've her seen, you looked behind you to see a castle a little ways away, Malfoy Manor
You placed your hand over your mouth taking in the sight of pure white peacocks roaming the garden along with white roses that bloomed everywhere on the grounds
Draco grabbed your hand and lead you to the table pulling a chair out for you as you sat down, Draco pushed your chair in before going and sitting down in the seat across from you
"Draco this is breathtaking" you've been to Malfoy Manor before with your friends but you never wandered around considering the fact Draco would've yelled at you if you did
Draco called one of his house elves "Correl" Draco said as his house elf appeared "Fetch dinner please"
"Yes master" Correl replied before returning with two plates of food that had steak and vegetables on them
You and Draco ate and conversed, laughing and smiling the whole time, you and Draco finished eating and Draco gazed into your eyes, Draco stood up and walked over to you grabbing your hand leading you to stand up to
"Y/n, the last month has been amazing, I can confidently say it has been the best time of my life, you make me feel so loved so....wanted, that's a feeling I've experienced not once in my life and I'm so grateful to have you" Draco pulled a black box out of his pocket "I know I'm a jealous git and I'm trying to be better for you but I can't stand the thought of you being with someone that isn't me....Y/n I love you with all my heart" Draco opened the box revealing a slytherin ring identical to Draco's "Will you be my girlfriend?"
Tears started rolling down your cheeks "Yes Draco, yes I will" you said as he slid the ring on your ring finger
Draco kissed you passionately wrapping his arm around you to pull you closer to him, this is what you've wanted since the day you met him and now you finally have it
"I hope you know that one day I will replace that ring with a wedding ring"
"I'm counting on it" you said beaming at Draco before grabbing his hand and holding your hand up to his to look at your rings side by side
This was just the beginning of your adventure with Draco and you are so excited to see what comes next
