Tbh this might be wrapped up soon but I doubt it, we'll see how long it takes me to be satisfied with it

The next day, after what felt like forever, they got home.
Neither even bothered to unpack, instead just laying down on the couch together.
After a few minutes of a tv show, there was a strange noise at the door.
"It's probably nothing, I'll go check," Dream said, carefully unwrapping his arms from George and getting up.
Dream opened the front door to be met with a small cat. "Uh, Babe?" he called.
"Yeah?"
"Why is there a tiny cat at our door?"
"What-"
George was soon at the doorframe with Dream.
"Huh. It looks hungry," George said.
"If you feed it, it'll just come back," Dream warned.
"I don't see how that's a problem."
George walked into the kitchen, leaving Dream with the cat. It rubbed against his leg.
George came back a moment later with a few bits of cheese in his hand.
"Why cheese?" Dream asked.
"I don't know, it's the first thing I thought of."
"I am afraid of what your mind conjectures."
"I am too."
George knelt down and put the cheese by the cat, who licked at it hungrily.
"Well. That's that." George said, walking back in, soon followed by Dream.
They laid back down and continued watching the show.

The next day, the cat returned.
"George, I told you it would come back."
And then it did the next day. And the next. And the next.
"We should just keep it," George said after a week of the cat returning.
"Don't try to con me into your scheme. You're not allowed to have a cat."
"My scheme?"
"Yes. Once you get a cat you'll give it more attention than you give me."
"Jealous much?" George smiled, picking up the cat.
Dream gave him an unimpressed look.
"Pleaseeeee," George said, looking up at him.
"Fine. Only because you're cute."
"I love youuuu."
"I love you too."
