Sam and Dean

Back in their room Dean was in a bad way. Physically, he had a terrible headache. Emotionally, he was a wreck. Tears were still falling from his eyes. He was laying on his bed in the fetal position, and was not responding to anything Sam was saying. He had been this way for five hours already.

Sam sat on the edge of his bed, with his elbows on his thighs, and tried again. "Dean, you need to snap out of this," Sam said gently. "We need to go home. The girls are waiting."

Finally, Dean barely whispered, "I'm not going home. I can't"

"Of course you are. You can and you will."

"I really screwed up this time Sammy. I can't go home. I can't lose Maggie. It's better if she just thinks I'm dead."

Still speaking gently, Sam said, "Dean, that's crazy talk. Maggie will want you alive and well. Don't make her decision for her. Haven't we learned something in all this time? Remember when I didn't tell you I was back from hell for a year? You were angry. You wanted me alive, even though you'd gone on with your life. Maggie will want you home, alive."

Dean said nothing for about five minutes. Then he sat up on his bed, elbows on thighs, facing Sam. "I'm scared Sam. What if she doesn't forgive me? What if she leaves me?"

"I don't see that happening," Sam responded. "Maggie loves you. I don't know how she will take it, but my guess is she may be hurt for a time, but she's not gonna leave over this. She knows the score. She will know it wasn't really you."

"It was me," Dean said.

"Oh, so you chose to cheat on her?"

"I did it, Sam. And I didn't even think of Maggie."

"Okay it was you, so go do it again."

Dean looked at Sam angrily. "Are you insane? Why would I do that?"

"Well you said it was you, why can't you go do it again?"

"Because I know better now. I have a conscience now. Now it would be deliberately doing something that I know would hurt her."

"My point exactly," sad Sam. "What you were, it was like I was without a soul. So believe me, I understand. It wasn't really you, Dean. You're problem is, you're being harder on yourself than anyone else will be. You always are."

Dean thought about that for a few minutes. "You know what's really the worst thing, Sammy?" He looked Sam right in the eyes when he said, "The worst thing is I liked it. I liked not feeling the guilt and the pain and the responsibility for anyone else. I liked it."

Sam shrugged. "So what? You liked it. You had half your feelings shut down, so why beat yourself up over it?"

"When it happened I thought it was cool, ya know? I thought how great it was to be able to do anything I wanted, and not have to answer to anyone, even myself. But you wanna know what demons are? They are little kids in grown up bodies with no one to guide them. They can run wild. If you're a little kid, that seems like fun. You think you can do anything you want to. But really, you aren't"

"What do you mean you aren't?" Sam asked.

Well, I didn't realize it, but half my possible choices were taken away from me when I became...what I became. I wasn't free to choose to go home to Maggie. I wasn't free to care about you, to want to keep on doing what we always have. Those things weren't even choices for me. How could they be real choices when I couldn't weigh them, you know, realistically?"

Sam nodded. "Given all that you just said, surely you can see that what you did wasn't really you. The real you was hidden, blocked off. Dean, you need to forgive yourself, and others will forgive you too. I certainly do. I'd be a real hypocrite if I didn't."

Dean wiped his face, nodded a bit and said, "I guess you're right. I just don't feel it yet."

"Tell you what. I was going to go down to the surface and buy some presents for the girls with our reward money. I think you should come along and buy things for Maggie yourself."

"Reward money?"

"You don't remember?" Sam asked. "Tarsa gave us each 1000 g's as a reward."

"No I don't remember that. I guess I was too far out of it. Anything else?"

"Yeah, an orb we can take with us and place it wherever we want. It will make a portal back to here. We can bring the girls to visit too."

"That's pretty cool."

"Yes it is. So come on, let's go shopping for the girls so we can go home."

"I can't buy Maggie's forgiveness with presents," said Dean.

"Of course not. You're going to buy presents for her because you love her. If you feel better about it, wait until things are right between you before you give them to her."

"What about the rings? We were going to do that right when we got back."

"I think we should wait. I'll wait with you. We should do it together. You let me know when it's okay. We'll take them out on the town and do the rings. We've never been able to take them out before."

Dean nodded. "Okay then. Let's go shopping."

Jensen's POV

This was the third time we've been to visit the girls although we don't really need to keep the demons believing Sam and Dean are still around. But visiting them was actually getting to be fun, and a welcome break, though a strange one, from long days of shooting. With Eric's help, it didn't take us more than 10 minutes to make the trip, and spending a few hours here now and then was no real hardship for us. And on top of that, we worry about the girls and it was time to check in on them.

Katie and Maggie were great girls, and after seeing what they are made of, I couldn't imagine better mates for our alternate egos. We were sitting around the table in the study catching up on each others doings, when all of a sudden there was a rumbling noise like an earthquake, though nothing was moving.

"What the hell?" I heard someone say in my own voice. Both girls screamed and yelled "Oh my god" and "You're back" and "You didn't die!"

They both jumped up, running to their men, Katie into Sam's arms, and Maggie into Dean's, jumping up on them, wrapping their arms and legs around them. They were all kissing like crazy, and their hands were all over each other. Both couples were spinning around in circles. It was madness.

Maggie laughingly said, "Dean, we have company." Dean stopped swirling her around, setting her feet on the floor as he looked over at us, his face expressionless. "Hey," he said in greeting. "Anything serious we should know about?" he asked Maggie.

"No, nothing that can't wait," she answered, and she winked at Jared and me.

"Well then, you'll have to forgive me, but I'll meet you formally later," and he grabbed ahold of Maggie, pushed her against the wall forcibly, and they began kissing again. Then Maggie pushed his jacket off his shoulders and it dropped on the floor. She grabbed at his shirt, making the buttons fly everywhere, which made Dean counter by ripping off hers. She pulled his tee shirt over his head while he practically tore off her bra and threw it on the floor. I heard her mumble something about remembering they have company. She jumped back up into his arms while he turned around and took another look at us with the sheepish face I knew so well how to do myself.

I was too shocked to tear my eyes away, and I was pretty sure Jared felt about the same. At about that point, Sam stopped kissing Katie, looked our way and waved. I'm sure he'd heard Dean's earlier question about everything being all right, so he just spun her around and carried her off to the bedroom wing.

Then Dean carried Maggie off too, leaving their clothing on the floor.

After a moment of stunned silence, Jared said, "Looks like we're on our own for a while."

"Guess so," I said. "But I really want to act out that scene in the show."

Katie and Sam

When they got to their room they could barely contain the passion that was lighting them both on fire. They had each other's clothes off in an instant.

"Katie don't," said Sam with a deep voice, harsh with desire. "Don't let me do this to you again. I can't control myself." He said those words as he was kissing her lips, kissing her neck, kissing her breasts, breathing heavily and trying without success to contain his desire enough to slow down his pace. He remembered the first time he had taken her, in a way that still filled him with guilt whenever he thought about it. He had asked her to promise she wouldn't ever let him do that again.

Now here he was, unable to make his body listen to his brain. He wanted his woman and he wanted her now, totally, completely, urgently, roughly. He remembered she had said she wouldn't make a promise she might not be able to keep, but he was hoping she would find a way to get through his animalistic desire, that she would say something that could stop the fire burning in his loins, something that would let him stop the frenzied pace with which he was kissing her, touching her, barely containing himself from just taking her.

"Sam Winchester! If you don't fuck me right this minute," Katie said," I'm going to hurt you."

That was the last piece of fuel added to the fire and he lost himself in the pure primitive, animalistic pleasure of a man taking his woman, making sure she knew she belonged to him. He guided them over to the bedroom chair, spun her around and pushed her down over the chair arm. A quick touch of his fingers told him she was as ready as he was himself, her sex warm, moist and swollen with passion.

Sam wasted no more time trying to think. His brain just shut down, as he slipped himself inside her, all the way inside in one hard push. He wrapped himself up in the sensations swirling all around his body. Katie yelled with delight, crying out "yes," and "oh my god," and "fuck me," her words only adding to the flames that were already burning him up.

Even so, he was in enough control to hold himself back. He was determined that this would not be a repeat of their first time. "Come with me, Katie, please," he begged her in a breathy whisper. "Feel me inside you like I'm feeling you around me, and let's reach the heights together. I can't let this just be for me, you have to come with me, please!"

Katie was closer than he thought, though, and soon he felt the preliminary little twitches that indicated she was getting there. He talked to her, all the things she liked to hear, telling her what he was doing, what it was doing to him, until he felt her explosion, felt her muscles squeezing him rhythmically. And then he, too, let himself go, rearing his head back and groaning, his face contorted in pleasure.

He reached down and pulled her up against himself, holding her until they both got their breath back to a semblance of normal. He turned her around and kissed her, long and lovingly. "Thank you," he whispered to her. "I love you so fucking much."

"I love you too," she said. "I love you more than the language has words strong enough to say. And oh my god, I love how you love me!"

Katie's POV

After we went for a quick shower, we crawled into the bed just because we wanted to hold each other close.

It was wonderful lying in Sam's arms, with one arm holding me close and the other caressing my own arm. But I knew this moment wasn't going to last. Feathers were going to fly.

"I missed you," he said again, "so much."

"I missed you too," I said, "terribly."

He nodded. "Looks like you kept yourselves busy though," he said. "Is there some reason why Jared and Jensen are sitting out there in the study?"

"They come visit us sometimes," I said.

"Okay but why?" he asked. "How did that come about?"

I took a deep breath. "Would you mind very much if we hold off on that for now, so Maggie and I can tell you and Dean together?" I said.

He pulled his arm out from under me and leaned on it. He looked down at me and said, "Just tell me that everything is all right."

"It is, I promise." I said. "You're right that there is a reason, but everything is fine, and there is nothing to worry about, okay?"

He looked into my eyes for a moment and then nodded and said, "Okay then, I'll wait to hear the story."

"We should probably go on out there," I said. After all, they are our guests.

Sam's POV

As we were getting dressed again, I said "Katie, there's something I should tell you before we go out there."

"Oh?"

I sighed. "It's not really my story to tell, it's Dean's. But because I don't know when he will tell Maggie or how it will affect her, I think you need to know in case she needs you."

Katie looked at me, worry clearly showing on her beautiful face. "Sam, what is it?"

"While we were there, in fact literally the moment after we were done," I hesitated.

"Go on, Sam what? You're scaring me."

I pulled her with me to sit down on the bed and I took her hands. "Something happened to Dean, something really bad," I said.

"Oh my god, it happened, didn't it? He turned into a demon, didn't he?"

"How can you possibly know that?" I asked in surprise.

"Because, that's what happened to Dean in the season finale. We were finally able to remember it. He's going to be a demon for half the next season."

This was a perplexing development for me. While I was trying to work that out, she cried out, "Oh my god, he isn't still…?"

"No, no," I assured her quickly. "He's back to normal. I think. Pretty sure. But, well, he did some things while he was a demon, and he's going to have to tell Maggie. That's why I'm telling you."

She swallowed a few times before asking the hard question. "What did he do?" she finally said, in a whisper.

I licked my lips a few times, tried to look anywhere but at her. I spared a moment to feel sorry for Dean, because telling Katie was hard enough. I couldn't imagine how hard it would be for Dean to tell Maggie. I finally got up enough nerve to say it out loud. "He cheated on her," I said. "He lost all sense of caring for anyone or anything, and he did a lot of things. But that's the one that's tearing him up. And that's the one that Maggie is going to need you for."

She sat there quietly for several minutes, playing it all inside her head.

"We'll get through this," she said. "Maggie and Dean love each other. They will weather this. Maybe it will take a while for the hurt to go away, but it won't break them up," she said.

"How can you be so sure?" I asked her.

She looked at me then, with sadness in her eyes, and said softly, "I know, because I imagined what I would do if that were you telling that to me."

I pulled her close and hugged her for several minutes. "Looks like there are going to be stories and feelings coming from both sides. Let's go on out there and get things started, " I said.

"Okay," she said. "But you should know, when we get back in here, whenever that is, I am going to torture you unmercifully."

"Is that so?" I asked her, grinning.

"It is," she said. "I'm going to make you beg."

"Hmmm," I said. "Fine with me. But just remember what happens when you play with my fire."

"Oh I do," she said. "I remember that vividly. That's the point," she said, winking at me.

"By the way, that reminds me, I have a present for you." I went to my jacket and pulled something out. "Turn around," I said. When she turned with her back to me, I said, "And close your eyes." She did so, and I fastened a chain around her neck. "Okay, open your eyes."

She took the charms that were dangling on the chain in her hand and held them out so she could see them. When she saw what they were, her face lit up like magic, her grin wide. "Oh my god," she said. "Did you get these on the other world?"

"I did," I said. "I hope you like them."

"I love them," she answered. "A wizard with his arms out and a dragon breathing fire. This is so perfect. I'll get tinglies every time it draws my attention."

"That's what I was aiming for, " I said with a wink. "Now we can go meet your new friends.

Dean and Maggie

When they got behind closed doors, Dean went right to the bed and dropped Maggie on it. Then he practically fell on top of her, kissing her passionately. Maggie felt the change immediately. His body went still, the kiss lost meaning, and Dean stopped breathing. "Dean," she cried out with worry. But then he buried his head in her neck and just began sobbing. "Dean, what is it?" she asked.

"I can't," he cried, "I'm sorry, I just can't do this."

"Dean you're scaring me," she said, trying to push him away so she could look at him. "What do you mean you can't? What's wrong?" She was almost in tears herself.

Dean raised himself off her and stood up, turning his back to her. "I thought I could wait until after, but I can't do it. I love you too much," he said, his voice still quavering with sobs.

Maggie sat up and watched the man she loved with all her heart seem to fall apart right before her eyes. "Dean," she said. "You aren't making much sense. Did something happen on that other world?"

Dean sniffed, wiped the tears from his face and nodded, still with his back to her. "Yes," he said.

"Okay." she said slowly, "Can you tell me what it is?"

Maggie waited with a sinking feeling as she watched Dean try to get himself together enough to talk. He turned around then to face her, his face wracked with guilt, his lips still quivering. "I'm sorry, baby, I'm so sorry," he said, shaking his head. Everything about him seemed to be pleading to her for understanding, but she didn't understand.

"What, Dean, what are you sorry for?" she asked him, tears running down her own cheeks. "I can't understand unless you tell me."

He turned and leaned his forehead against the door, and banged his fist against it softly. Then he turned to her again and said, "Something… something happened while we were there. I didn't know it was going to happen, it just did." He looked up and sniffed again, pursing his lips.

"Dean, would this have something to do with maybe… did you?... Um, okay I'm just gonna ask this. Did you like turn into something else?"

He stared at her, puzzled, a question in his eyes.

"Like maybe a demon?"

"How… how did you know that?"

"The show," she said. "Dean on the show turned into a demon. It was the last scene of the season finale. We finally were able to see it."

He stared at her for a long moment. "And then what happened?" he asked her.

"Nothing yet, the new season hasn't started."

"Well," he said, not looking at her. "That's not all that happened to me."

"Dean, look at me," she said. When he did, she asked softly, "What did you do?"

He swallowed visibly, and said, "I did a lot of things I'm not real proud of."

A wave of cold fear washed over her. She didn't want to hear what might be coming next, but yet she had to know.

"What, Dean, what did you do?"

Dean looked away from her and said softly, "There was this girl…"

Maggie tried not to react but it was out of her control. She gasped, and he turned to her and knelt on the floor by her side. "Maggie, please, I'm so sorry. I love you, I don't want to lose you, I can't lose you, I was like... I don't know... me but not me." He stared into her face, trying to gauge how she was going to respond to this.

She looked away, crying softly, lips quivering. "Oh god, Maggie, I know I fucked up! Really bad. I don't know if you'll still love me, and I know I don't deserve it, I know I'm a piece of crap, but I want you to. I can't lose you." He took her hand in his and kissed it, immediately making it wet with his tears. "Please, Maggie, say something."

She looked down into his eyes, and then away, several times, but she didn't pull her hand away. "Are you still?.."

"No," he said quickly. "It didn't last long. Sammy got me out of it, with Tarsa's help. Well, his wife actually."

She sighed and nodded, "That's good." she said. She knew he was waiting for her to reassure him of something, but she needed time to sort out her feelings. She knew it really wasn't his fault, whatever it was he did. She knew it really wasn't him. But she was hurting anyway, and she didn't want to. She thought it was petty of her, and a bit irrational. But there it was.

She looked at him and tried to sound as genuine as she possibly could. "You aren't going to lose me," she said, noting his visible relief. "I can't say I'm not hurt, because right this minute I am." She touched his cheek then and stared right into his eyes. "But don't you ever go around thinking you're a piece of crap, because you're not. Far from it." She tried to smile. "I just need some time, okay?"

"I'll make it up to you, I promise," he said nodding. "And I owe you one."

She had to laugh at that, and he looked puzzled again. "You may get your chance to pay that debt off sooner than you think, when you hear what's been going on around here while you were gone."

"Does that have something to do with the company out there?"

"In a way." she said. "I mean, they're a part of it but it's not about them. But we want to tell you and Sam together, okay?"

"Whatever you want," he said. He stood up and pulled her up off the bed. "Will you kiss me?" he asked. She nodded and smiled weakly and he kissed her lovingly and tenderly.

"We should go out and join the others, "she said, "and we'll tell you our story."

Jared and Jensen

After the two couples fled the room, Jared and Jensen were both going through a gamut of emotions. Seeing the characters they have been portraying come to life in front of them was a heady experience.

"This is surreal," said Jared.

"I think that's an understatement," Jensen replied.

"So what do you think is going to happen when they come back out?" Jared asked.

"You mean beyond having our minds blown? Because this is pretty overwhelming," Jensen said.

"Yeah, cause that's pretty much going on already."

"Even knowing they were real, actually seeing them in the flesh…" Jensen said.

"Yeah well, we have some time to wrap our heads around it while they do… whatever it is they're doing," Jared said.

They sat quietly for a while just adjusting to this new reality. Then Jensen said, "Ya know, I would imagine they will come out again to meet us for real, and they will probably want to know about all that's been happening here."

"Makes sense," Jared responded.

"So why don't we get things ready?" Jensen asked. "Make some sandwiches, put out some munchies and take some beer into the viewing room."

"Good idea, let's do that," Jared said enthusiastically.

Sam and Katie were the first to appear. Sam shook both their hands when Katie introduced them, but he and Jared lingered over their handshake for some time, just staring at each other.

Sam said, "Pretty heady stuff, huh?"

"Just a bit, yeah," Jared responded. "But you're not exactly like me, are you? You wear the scars of your experiences. It's real for you."

"Just a bit."

Katie kept glancing between Sam and Jared. "This is pretty surreal," she said.

Everyone Gathered Together

Maggie and Dean showed up about five minutes later. Katie could tell Maggie was upset, but she was trying to hide it. She sent her sister eye messages that they would talk later.

More introductions were made, and remarks were exchanged and then Katie invited everyone to be seated, the couples on their usual couches and Jared and Jensen on the two easy chairs. "Thanks for getting the snacks ready," said Katie, as she passed around beers. When she handed Dean his, he grimaced and said, "I think I want something stronger," and he got up and poured himself a whisky from the liquor cabinet.

When they were all settled, Jared asked, "So you actually went to another world? What was it like?"

Sam chuckled and said, "Very different. The people use magic there, like our fantasy stories. They look more like elves than like us. They have the pointed ears, and they're mostly tall and slim."

"Mostly," said Dean.

"Yeah, we do have a few friends there who are kinda short and, well, not so slim," he said smiling, thinking of Hale.

"You made friends?" Katie asked him.

"Yeah we did, quite a few actually. All colors."

"Colors," exclaimed almost all of them.

"Yeah, they turn colors based on the kind of magic they use, like red for fire, green for earth, etc."

"Sounds really interesting. I'd like to see magic," said Maggie.

"You will," said Dean with his arm around her, holding her close as if he were afraid she'd get up and run away. "We have an open invitation and a way to get there."

"So you won then?" Jensen asked. "You did what you went there to do?"

"Yes we did," said Sam. And he gave them a short version of what they had to do to succeed on their quest. He left out the part about Dean becoming a demon. There were choruses of complimentary remarks, and then things turned quiet for a moment.

"So," said Sam, "What's been going on here since we left?" Maggie looked over to Katie, as they had decided she would be the one to do the explaining.

Katie said, "Well, yeah, we've had a few adventures of our own, you could say."

"Oh do tell," said Dean.

"Well first I want to tell you that we got a car."

"A car?" asked Dean, puzzled. "Why?"

"Well, several reasons," answered Katie. "First, because we all know how crazy you can get when anyone else even looks at your car,"

"Aww come on, I'm not that bad," Dean said, which brought glares and snide remarks from the others.

"Second," Katie went on, "we really wanted a car of our own, you know, just to feel more independent." She took a breath. "And mostly because driving in your car could have been dangerous. It's well known as your car."

Sam took a good look at Katie and said, "Katie, what aren't you saying? I get the feeling there's more to that statement than you just said."

"Yeah, well, I'll get to that, okay? I want to tell this story in a certain way."

"Why do I think I'm not going to like this?" said Sam.

Katie smiled. "Don't worry, Baby," she said. "Everything's fine."

"So what kind of car did you get? One of those new fancy luxury cars made out of plastic?" asked Dean.

"No, of course not!" Katie answered.

"Okay then, a sports car painted pink?" Dean tried again.

"Bite your tongue," Katie said laughing.

"So what'd you get?" Sam asked.

"We got our own muscle car," Katie said, looking proud. "Maggie, the car is your department, tell them what we got."

Maggie smiled at both of them, maybe a bit smugly, and said, "We got a '71 Barracuda."

"What?" exclaimed Sam and Dean together.

Dean said, "Okay I have to see this. Is it in the garage?"

"Well, yes but not as such," Maggie said.

"What do you mean 'Not as such,'" Dean asked.

"Thing is, it's in pieces. I've been working on it to keep myself from going crazy."

Dean looked over at Sam with a strange expression. "Well we wanna see it anyway," he said. So they all got up and headed to the garage. Katie was in her element as she showed the boys the car and explained the changes she was planning to make. Watching her, Katie thought that for a moment at least, her sister was able to put away the hurt she must be feeling.

Dean, looking totally impressed and equally excited said, "I'd love to work on her with you, if you'd let me."

"I'd like that," she said, looking right into his eyes for a moment.

When they got back to the viewing room, the level of excitement had gone up a notch or two. Katie stayed standing. "I can't tell this story sitting down," she said a bit nervously. "I want to ask you guys a question."

"Shoot," said Dean

"How much money have you ever had at one time?"

"You mean the most money?" asked Sam.

"Yes."

The boys looked at each other and shrugged. "I don't know," Sam said. "Maybe twenty thousand or so, if even."

Katie smiled. "You ever wish you had more?"

They both laughed at that. Jared and Jensen were watching them with interest, studying their moves and facial expressions. "What would we do with more?" Dean asked.

"Why are you asking this, Katie?" Sam asked with a puzzled smile.

Katie turned and dragged out a large satchel from where it had been hidden behind Jared's chair. She opened it and with a bit of a struggle she lifted it up and poured the contents onto the floor. Stacks of money wrapped in bands dropped out of the satchel. Dozens of them.

The boys' eyes went wide with shock and their mouths formed O's as their jaws dropped.

"What the hell?" exclaimed Dean.

"How much is that?" asked Sam.

"Well, let's have some fun," said Katie, as she reached down and counted out ten of the banded stacks. She fanned them out in front of her. This is ten stacks of hundred dollar bills, with 100 in each, so each stack has $10,000 in it. These ten that I'm holding amount to $100,000."

Maggie and Katie both watched with smiles as the boys kept looking between the pile on the floor and the stacks Katie was holding. Finally Sam said, "There must be...that's impossible." He looked up at Katie for verification.

"If you were thinking along the lines of over one million dollars, you were on the right track," Katie said. "To be precise, there's exactly 1.5 million in this satchel."

"How?...

"What?...

"Where?...

They didn't seem to know what to ask. Dean got down on the floor with the money and played around with it, shuffling through the bills as though he thought they might have blank papers in them. The he said, "Okay, I get the joke now. They're counterfeit, right?"

"Nope, that's all real spendable money."

"So where'd it come from?" Sam asked.

"Well, technically, we earned it," Katie said.

Dean looked between Maggie and Katie, frowning, still puzzled. "Doing what?" He asked. "High level call girls don't even make this much," he said.

Maggie hit him playfully, and Katie said, "Oh, but wait, there's more," and she dragged out a second satchel. She had to laugh as their expressions with wide eyes and open mouths returned to their faces.

The boys were totally perplexed now, actually, stupefied would be a more accurate term to use.

Sam looked over at Dean and asked, "Did we come home to the wrong house?"

"I don't think so," Dean answered.

The girls were actively laughing now, and Maggie dragged Dean back up off the floor to the couch. Katie got herself in control and said, "Now that you've seen the results, it's time to tell you how it all happened."

"Ya think?" said Dean.

"I can't wait to hear this," said Sam.

"Before I actually start I need to say something. Mags and I, well we think that parts of this story might kinda upset you," she said, looking from Sam to Dean. "So if they do, I want you to remember that we are both here, safe and sound, with a new car in the garage and 3 million dollars on the floor."

"Not to mention the 1.5 million still in the bank," Maggie added. When both Sam and Dean turned to stare at her she shrugged and said, "Just sayin."

Dean got up saying, "I need a refill for this," and poured himself another whisky.

When everyone was settled again, Katie began. "When you two left, we went to Mom's for a couple of days, cleaned out our apartment, had a party, yada yada. When we got back, with a couple of friends to help us move in, we were showing them around. When we got to the surveillance room we discovered someone lurking around the garage doors. While we were watching, the camera caught him at just the right time and we could see clearly that he had black eyes. He was a demon."

This definitely got the attention of the boys as Katie noticed them both stiffen up a bit. "So, we took our friends home and we went out to talk to him to try to find out what he was doing. Our plan was to kill him.

"Katie!" Sam exclaimed.

"Kill a demon?" Dean said at the same time. "What the hell were you thinking?"

"I was thinking that a demon was lurking around our home, and I wasn't going to sit by and let that happen. I told you some things were going to upset you. Just look at Maggie and me, and the money on the floor, and keep listening."

They both relaxed a little bit but were still looking wary. Katie continued the story. "So, as I was saying, we went out to find out what was going on. We actually got that on tape and we're going to play that now. Please, just stay calm." Katie took the remote and turned the video on play. She'd had it set up and waiting for this day to come. She played the video of her flirting with George and asking him questions.

"They thought we were dead?" Sam asked, when the video was finished.

"Yes, they did. And we were sure that other demons would be sent here as well, and so we needed more answers. We didn't even know how they knew where you lived."

"Good question," said Dean.

"Well, we never really did get the answer to that, but we did get other answers. We called in Mom and Garth to help us, and they were both here pretty quickly. We decided we needed to capture Georgie and interrogate him."

"Capture a demon?" exclaimed Sam.

"You didn't actually do that, did you?" asked Dean.

"If you guys are going to get upset at every new piece of information it will take us two days to tell the whole thing. Focus. We are here. A lot of money is here. You may not like what you hear, but it's done and over with now, so stay calm. Please!"

They both took deep breaths and Dean waved his arm at Katie. "Carry on," he said, which made all the others chuckle.

"Now what?" he asked.

"It's kind of the theme song for Supernatural," Maggie said. "Carry On Wayward Son."

"Dean chuckled. "Of course it is."

"Anyway, we did capture Georgie with Garth's help, and we have that on tape too." Katie turned to the screen and played the next video.

"The boys were both quiet for a moment, both staring at the now vacant screen. Then Sam said, "Not a bad plan actually. I'm kind of impressed."

At that point Jensen smiled and said, "Wait. You ain't seen nothin' yet." Sam and Dean stared at Jensen for a moment and then sighed and slumped in their seats. It was funny to watch them do the exact same thing.

"Okay so we had Georgie, and we questioned him. Here's the video of that first interrogation," she said, and she played it for them.

After the video, both Sam and Dean were looking at Katie with mixed emotions. Sam said, "I had no idea you could do that. I mean, you tortured him."

"Does that bother you?" Katie asked, worried that maybe it did.

"No, I just never thought… I mean wow."

Dean finally got into the conversation. "Well I'll admit I'm damned impressed. You were one scary bitch there. And you got his boss's name. But who the hell is she anyway?"

"Well at this time we didn't know yet. I don't want to get ahead of the story. Shortly after this, two more demons showed up looking for Georgie. We took care of them too."

"By took care of, you mean…?" Sam asked in a worried tone.

"Well let me show you," and she started the tape of them killing the two demons. The boys looked at each other, and Dean got up off the couch and started pacing around, rubbing his hand down his face.

Sam was breathing hard, and he said, "I don't know how much more of this I can take, Katie. How much more is there?"

"We're just getting started," Katie answered. "Focus. We live. We have money. Nothing bad happened to us. At all."

Maggie got Dean to sit back down, and Katie leaned over to Sam and whispered, "Please baby, calm down. We did good, you'll see," and she gave him a kiss.

Katie filled them in a bit on the conversations they had between themselves and Garth. "You should know that Garth did try to talk us out of killing them. He was afraid you'd blame him and he feared for his life. So don't be mad at him, he really tried."

"Not hard enough," said Dean.

"You know us, Dean. When we make up our minds, we can't be stopped. This is our home. Like the pioneers in the west, the women had to defend the home front when their men were gone. We were not about to sit around and let demons take it over."

"Now, where was I? Oh yeah. So then the problem escalated. All at once, about a dozen demons came, trying to break in to the bunker. They crawled all around the factory above us. They tried battering the doors in. It was obvious that we couldn't handle all this ourselves. They thought you two were dead. There was only one way we could think of to get them to think you weren't."

Sam and Dean both looked at Jared and Jensen. "Yep. That's where we came in," said Jensen.

"I ran over to the house and called Eric and begged him to send the boys to help, and he did. He had a hard time convincing them this was all real."

Jared and Jensen explained how Eric had tried to make them believe, which got a few laughs from the boys. "But eventually we got it, and how could we not help?" Jared said. "So we came over here. It was surreal, I'll tell you that."

"So what happened then?" asked Sam, finally seeming to settle down and try to just enjoy the story.

"We took a little ride in the Impala, just a few blocks to the store."

"What, you let them drive baby?" Dean exclaimed.

"See, I rest my case," said Katie, making everyone but Dean laugh. "We don't have video of this but a couple of demons followed us, and Jensen got in his face and played Dean. It was hilarious. Nerve-wracking, but hilarious."

"They had orders not to hurt us… you… so I knew we were safe," Jensen said.

"And the plan worked. The demons went away," said Katie smiling.

"That can't be it," said Dean. "We didn't hear about the money yet."

Jensen piped up with, "I want you two to know that we," he indicated himself and Jared. "We tried to stop her. When she told us her plan we really tried to stop her. But you know they can't be stopped when they set their minds to something. They're your women, you have to know that."

"What was your plan?" asked Sam.

Katie sighed, and was actually a bit reluctant to say what her plan was. She said, "Well…"

"She decided to kill Lilitu," Jared said, enjoying his moment of revelation.

"You what?" they both said together.

"She had to die, guys, you know that. You would have done the same thing."

Dean got up and said, "I need another drink. No, I need three or four of them." He brought the bottle back to the couch with him.

Sam was still staring at Katie in silence. Katie looked at him and said, "Alive and well, lots of money, stay calm."
