Katie and Maggie

After a restless night of sleep, the girls got up and ran to check the surveillance footage. They had saved out the one from last night showing Katie talking to the Demon. Now they were seeing not only Georgie Porgie but a few others as well. One was off in the trees watching the front door, and another was lurking farther off in the distance.

"What the hell do they want?" asked Maggie in a whisper.

"I wish I knew," said Katie. "But for some reason they think the boys are dead. Maybe what they want is this bunker."

"Well that's not gonna happen," said Maggie defiantly. "We can't let demons take our home while the boys are away. How would we explain that?"

Katie scoffed. "Well you're right, but I think we may need some help with that."

"Like Who?" asked Maggie. "Mom would come but I don't want her out there fighting demons."

"No, neither do I, but she might help with ideas."

"Maybe we could call Garth. I know he's probably just gotten home but…"

"Good idea," said Katie, as she picked up her cell phone and dialed. "Garth, hey?"

"Katie, hi, is something wrong?"

"Well maybe. It seems that demons are watching the bunker, and they seem to think Sam and Dean are dead. We could use some advice."

Katie told Garth as much as they knew so far. Garth said, "Are you crazy? You confronted a demon by yourself?"

"Yes, Garth, I did, and you know what? Not only am I not dead, but I got some really good information. So do you want to play big bad protector or will you just help us?"

"Whoa, whoa, calm down, girl, I just know how Sam would feel if he lost you, that's all, okay?"

Katie took a deep breath. "Yeah I know, Garth, but they aren't here, and we aren't running home to mommy for safety. This is our home, and we are going to protect it whether or not we have help."

"I hear that," said Garth," resolving himself to the fact that he wasn't going to talk them out of doing anything stupid. He quickly pulled up his travel site and made reservations. "I can be there in three to four hours," he said. "Don't do anything until I get there, promise?"

"Yeah, promise." Katie hung up the phone and nodded to Maggie that Garth was coming. She looked at the cameras again, They were recording on a 24 hour loop. She noted down when they would need changed. She didn't want to lose any of this footage.

She sat down on one of the chairs, watching all the screens closely. "Maggie," she said. "Sometimes Georgie is out of site of the other two. Assuming there are no more out there, we may be able to capture him for questioning."

"That's an idea, but how?"

"I don't know, yet, let's think on it."

Sam and Dean

Dean became aware that he was becoming aware of something and had been for some time. Talking, he thought, someone was talking to him. Kind of soothing. What were they saying? "Sammy," he barely whispered through dry lips.

Someone gave him water to drink. "Name's Filgrin," someone said. Dean was trying to process that. He was breathing heavily, every breath shooting pain to his ribs.

"Sammy," he said again.

"That's your name, son, Sammy?" someone asked. Someone soothing. Someone far away. He should come closer. "No," he whispered, "brother."

"Sammy is your brother then?

Dean tried to open his eyes. He thought he did but all he saw was a blur, like a Van Gogh painting. He just kept concentrating on breathing. He didn't really like Van Gogh anyway.

"If Sammy is your brother, he's badly hurt, we need to get you both home where we can tend you." said the far away voice. What's your name, son?"

"Dean," he whispered, as his eyes closed again, and he went back into sweet oblivion.

Katie and Maggie

Katie sent Maggie to get their Mom as she wanted her opinion. She had been watching the monitors for three hours and she found they all had pacing patterns. She wanted to capture Georgie because she was sure he would talk, and intel is what they needed desperately.

When Maria got there she was briefed on what was happening, and Katie explained the pacing patterns she had picked up on. "But I'm not quite sure haw to take the best advantage of it.

Maria watched for about 20 minutes and said, "You're right, there's a window when these two are both farther over to this side. That's when you can strike."

They discussed how they might be able to do that, and came up with a plan. Maggie painted the demon trap and Katie gathered the rest of what they needed. Everything was ready when Garth called and said he was just leaving the rental car place. "Okay," said Katie, "Listen." She told him the plan they had devised and what his part would be. Everything was set. All they had to do now was wait for the demons to be In the places they wanted them.

Sam and Dean

Dean opened his eyes. He didn't know where he was. A young female voice yelled, "Papa, he's awake."

Soon a nice looking elf who was a very bright green entered the room and said, "Ah, young man, good to see you awake."

Dean looked at the elf, who was smiling broadly and decided he liked him on the spot. The elf came over and checked Dean's bandaged areas. "You got very lucky, you know," he said. "Another fifteen minutes and you'd have been gone." He sat on a chair by the bed. "Your brother was in even worse shape. It was touch and go there for a while, but we think he's out of danger."

"Sammy," said Dean, trying to get up.

"No, no, no, don't try to get up, you'll pull your stitches, and some of them are in strategic places."

"But Sammy…"

"He's holding his own," said the elf gently, "but he's still unconscious. My wife and daughter are caring for him. Believe me, he's in good hands."

"Thank you," said Dean weakly. "Thank you for helping us."

"No need to thank us young man. It was the right thing to do. Are you up for a little food?"

Dean thought about that and nodded, "Maybe just something light," he answered.

"Ah we have just the thing." He nodded to his daughter and she left the room. "Name's Filgrin," said the elf, "Jono Filgrin."

"Dean Winchester," said Dean, without thinking.

Jono smiled slightly. "Strange name for hereabouts," he said. "Might it be possible that you have travelled here from a very great distance?" he asked.

Dean looked at him curiously. "You said your name was Filgrin?" asked Dean.

"Indeed I did," Jono answered, "But please, call me Jono."

"Jono," said Dean, his voice still weak from blood loss and pain. "Are you the keeper?"

"That I am," he said with a strange look on his face. "And I've been hoping that you two were the Chosen Ones ever since we found you."

"What made you think we might be?" asked Dean.

At that point Jono's daughter came back with a bowl of something that smelled delicious. Jono helped Dean sit up enough to eat, a process through which Dean groaned and grunted and scrunched up his face in pain. But once he was settled, he looked longingly at the bowl of what looked like soup.

"My wife's famous hockten soup, works almost like magic," he said. "Here, let me help you, your arms are too hurt, you shouldn't be moving them yet."

Jono spoon fed Dean, and while Dean ate Jono talked. "I thought you might be the Chosen Ones when I first saw you," he said gently. "The blade weapons lying on the ground for one thing. They didn't look like they came from here. And then the cloaking magic giving you the illusion of being elves was kind of a strong indication as well."

Dean looked startled. "Oh not to worry," said Jono. "It's only noticeable by the strongest of Earth Mages, and then only if they specifically look for it." Dean finished the soup, which was delicious and tasted strangely like chicken soup. He felt slightly better.

"The blades?" Dean asked.

"Locked up safe and sound, you needn't worry."

An older version of the girl who had brought the soup entered the room. "Papa," she said, "I have energy back."

"Very good," he said, and turned to Dean. "My Daughter is a Water Mage," he said. They are the healers. She has managed to keep you and your brother alive, but she has only a small amount of energy to use at a time." he explained. "She's ready to do a little more healing on you."

Dean laid back against his pillow and sighed. "Use it on Sammy," he said. "I'm fine."

Jono nodded to the girl and she left. "That's quite noble of you," he said. I know how much pain you are in, I'm the one who dressed your wounds."

"Doesn't matter," said Dean, weakly. "I'm no stranger to pain. But I'm awake, I've had some food. I need my brother to wake up. I need my brother to live. I need my brother…"

Jono lifted Dean's eyelid and saw he was just in a normal sleep state, which was the best thing for him at the moment. He patted Dean's arm and said, "You'll be just fine, son." He got up and left the room to check on his other patient.

Katie and Maggie

They got Garth's text that he was in place and had the target in sight. He was waiting for their signal. Fifteen minutes later the pacings of the demons were about to line up the way they were waiting for. Maggie texted Garth to be ready.

With Maria manning the cameras, Katie went to stand to the right of the garage door. When Maria texted Maggie to go, Maggie opened the garage door and Garth drove his rental car iside. Garth got out of the car and Maggie went to hug him, laughing and giggling as if she were so happy to see him she forgot to shut the garage door. They walked with arms around each other and turned off the light. They opened and shut the kitchen door as if they had gone through it.

They slowly made their way towards Katie, and stopped about halfway there. Garth felt for the iron chain that was waiting for him to pick up and Maggie picked up the pitcher of holy water that was waiting for her.

It didn't take long for Georgie to come closer to investigate. Garth had pulled his car in to the left, leaving an inviting opening for Georgie to come into. He took the bait. He came creeping in slowly, looking around him for trouble. When he got into the garage about three feet, Katie said sweetly, "Hello Georgie!"

Georgie spun around at the sound of her voice and everyone moved swiftly. Maggie poured the holy water over his head, after which Katie quickly covered his head with the cowl they had made, which muffled his cries. Maggie had painted demon trap on the inside of the cowl to keep him from smoking out. They didn't really know if a demon in his own body actually could smoke out, but they weren't taking any chances. Garth finished up the process by wrapping him with an iron chain. He wasn't going anywhere.

Garth slung Georgie over his shoulder and Maggie closed the garage door. It was a very successful mission, taking less than four minutes from opening the garage door to closing it.

Sam and Dean

When Dean woke up and saw Jono sitting on the chair he asked, "How's my brother?"

"Still holding on," Jono said gently, "but still unconscious."

"Look," said Dean. "If you could just give us the crystal, we can beat it back to the angels, and they will heal us up completely."

"I'm afraid it's not that simple," said Jono. "I may know where it is, but you two are the only ones who can get it. It's charmed to know the Chosen Ones. And you'll need to be in decent shape to get it."

"Son-of-a-bitch," said Dean.

Jono chuckled. "I assume that's some form of curse word where you come from," he said.

Dean nodded and said "Yeah! Yeah it is."

"Where exactly is it you do come from?" asked Jono.

"A whole other world," Dean answered. "It's called Earth."

Jono smiled. "I'd love to hear more about it, but you must conserve your strength for now. You need to heal."

"Heal," said Dean wonderingly, trying to remember something that was on the tip of his consciousness. "Healing elixirs," he said. "Son-of-a-bitch, we have two healing elixirs, in Sammy's bag," said Dean excitedly. "Dammit, where was my brain?" Dean admonished himself.

"In a fog, boy, don't beat yourself up. I'll be right back." Jono said, as he left the room. Soon he came back with Sammy's bag. "Here you go," he said, handing Dean Sam's bag. "I don't go getting in other people's stuff."

Dean opened the backpack that looked like a sack to Jono and got out the two healing elixirs. "here," he said, handing them to Jono.

"You keep one," Jono said. "One will be as good as two for Sammy. You take this one."

Despite Jono's assertion, Dean held onto his until Jono came back. "That helped enormously," he said. His wounds are much healed.

"Is he awake?" asked Dean.

"No, but that's to be expected. But he is definitely out of the woods now," Jono assured him. "Now if you drink up that potion of yours, you'll heal up well enough to go see him yourself."

Dean hesitated for a minute but he realized the wisdom in Jono's words. They needed to heal up at close to the same pace. He swiftly downed his potion and waited. The terrible pain began to ease. He moved his arms and legs tentatively and found he could, with only a little pain still left. He started to sit up, and his head felt light.

"I still feel weak," he said.

"The potions only heal your wounds," Jono Explained. "They don't replace your lost blood. You'll have to let your body do that on it's own."

Jono helped Dean get out of bed and walk across the hall to another room, where Sammy looked like he was peacefully sleeping. "Is he just sleeping or…?" Dean asked Jono.

"No," Jono answered. "His body has taken him under. He was very badly injured, your brother, very close to dying. But he will pull through now, thanks to your potion."

Jono helped Dean to the chair. Dean looked down at Sam, took his hand and called his name softly. "Come on Sammy, you can do this. You can wake up now, you're gonna be fine. I'm here. You here me Sammy, wake up."

Sammy still didn't stir. Dean looked up at Jono and said, "If you don't mind, I'll do the rest of my healing right here."

Katie and Maggie

They got Georgie settled in the chair in the dungeon, hands and feet shackled. Then Garth took off the hood. Katie was standing there with her arms folded, smiling at Georgie. "Hello Georgie," she said sweetly. "I hope this hasn't changed anything between us."

"You let me go, or you'll be very sorry. My friends will come to rescue me any second now." he said menacingly.

"Oh Georgie, Georgie, tsk, tsk, tsk!," she said, still in that syrupy sweet tone. "I know a bluff when I hear one, and you, my friend, are bluffing." She unfolded her arms and went over to lean on the table in front of him. "See, here's the thing. Your friends have no idea what happened to you. As far as they're concerned, you just left your post. My, My, won't that boss of yours be happy to hear that? Mmm, hmmm."

Georgie stopped struggling as he realized the implication of what she was saying.

"Tell you what Goergie," Katie said, smiling. "We'll just let you sit here in the dark for the while so you can contemplate your options. You're in good company, by the way. The last guest of ours to visit this room was none other than Crowley, your king of hell himself. Should make you feel proud," she said wit a wink.

As she turned around to leave, Georgie asked, "Does this mean we won't be partying?"

Katie stared at him in disbelief. Then she turned around, shut off the light, and closed the door.
