Andi, who had actually been lying on her bed with Lilac right across the room when he DMed her, knew exactly what he was messaging her about. George needn't have worried, but he hadn't spoken to Andi that much, so he was treading carefully.

George was rolling his eyes as he closed Discord out on his computer, shaking his head and chuckling to himself. The boys were now saying they loved him, sending him rapid-fire streams of every emoji with a heart in it they could find. As much as he was rolling his eyes, George couldn't help but smile. He really did love his best friends.
"My friends are idiots," He mumbled to himself, leaning back against his desk chair and looking at the ceilings. Useful idiots, though, because he wouldn't have thought to bridge the hunt between two games without them. Between Andi, himself, and Clay and Sap, George thought he ought to put on the best scavenger hunt the world (or at least Lilac) had ever seen.
There was no time like the present, he supposed- the month was exactly halfway done, which means he had just over two weeks to mod an existing Stardew Valley multiplayer file and write an elaborate set of clues that jumped back and forth between his favorite game and Lilac's. His mind was already whirling; the Stardew clues in particular had to be clever. While Geroge knew his way across the SMP blindfolded and backwards, Lilac had the same level of knowledge about Stardew. He'd have to work to give her a challenge there.
George looked over at the clock: it was just past 3. The day was still young and completely open, a perfect time to start figuring out how to mod. Stardew mods, he'd learned, were written in C#, but the website he'd visited said Java would serve him well. A tiny twinge of annoyance welled up at even the idea of C# being a language barrier, but he thought of Lilac and the annoyance dissipated at once. George took a deep breath, cracked his knuckles, and got to work.
