My belly was full within half an hour and I pushed aside the empty sandwich plate and salad bowl. I placed my head in my hands, watching Liam work.

He ran his highlighter over the main points, his eyes shooting back and forth across the page. As if on cue, he glanced up at me, his dark eyes meeting mine.

Immediately, I tore my eyes away from him, instead focusing my attention on the mahogany dinner table below me. He chuckled, turning back to his textbook.

I fished out my own textbook from my bag, plopping it onto the table. Liam was inspiring me to study instead of my original plan — lingering around on social media on my phone.

I stretched out my legs from under the table, bringing my feet into contact with Liam's. The side of my foot brushed against his lightly. My lips curled up when he didn't move his feet. His lips twitched up the slightest, but he remained focused on his book.

I willed myself to focus on the material in front of me, reciting the important and testable parts of the chapter to memorize them.

To my dismay, I peeked over at Liam again, to see him highlighting another key word on the same page I was reading.

"You know, that's some mad passive learning," I said, breaking the silence between us.

He placed his highlighter on the table, an amused eyebrow raised at me, "Passive?"

"Yeah, you're just reading it over and highlighting," I explained, nodding over at his textbook. "How do you memorize things like that?"

"It just stays in my brain. How else do you memorize things?" he asked, his brows furrowed.

"I recite the stuff in my head over and over again," I said, as a matter-of-fact.

"Thats inefficient," he chortled, leaning back in his chair, tilting it so that it only the back two legs were making contact with the floor.

"Your method is ineffective," I shot back, challengingly.

We stared each other down for a few moments, our lips pressed flat before the two of us simultaneously dissolved into giggles.

"I'll never get you, or your study methods," I sighed, grinning. "I wonder why I like you so much."

"Because, I'm me," he smirked. Liam tilted his chair back again, shaking his head. A smile played on his lips, "I'm serious though, your method is ineff—"

His words were suddenly cut off and I gasped when his chair tipped back from underneath him, taking him with it. Liam disappeared under the table, landing on the floor with a loud thud, groaning.

"Liam!" I sprung up from my own chair, leaping over towards him.

He sat up on the floor, letting out a sheepish chuckle. His cheeks were crimson when he glanced up at me.

"Are you okay?" I asked, biting back a smile. Now was definitely not the time to laugh. Liam stood before I could even offer to help, placing the chair back upright on the floor.

"I'm fine," he reassured me, scratching the back of his head. "My ass kinda hurts, but I'm fine."

I snorted, rolling my eyes, "That was a visual representation of what happens to people who are over-confident and cocky."

"Why didn't you fall over then?" he said, his brows arched provokingly.

"Then you know what that means," I shrugged, my lips curling up as I sat back down on my seat in front of my textbook. Liam only rolled his eyes, his smile mirroring mine. "Oh, I just remembered, I have a surprise."

"Oh?" Liam leaned in closer from across the table, bewildered.

My grin broadened as I dug around in my bag on the floor, fishing out the keychain I had bought earlier.

"I saw it, and it reminded me of you," I giggled as I placed it onto the table gently. Liam chuckled lightly, scooping it up into his hands. My cheeks grew warm as I stared at the keychain.

Maybe I should have bought something more extravagant. Like me, Liam had pretty much everything he could ever want. A keychain now seemed ridiculous.

"I love it," he said, peering up at me. His eyes were soft, as was the smile on his face.

"Really?" I asked, my eyebrow shooting up. I watched as Liam pulled his car keys out of his pocket. He slipped the keychain hook over the ring in his keys.

"I'd love anything from you, no matter what," he set his keys aside, pressing a feather-like kiss onto my forehead. "It's beautiful."

"I'm glad you like it," I bit down on my lip, suppressing my burning cheeks. I smirked, jokingly, "Now you can't take it off, ever."

"Wasn't planning on it," he chortled.

I turned my attention back to my textbook, knowing that I had to get moving on the studying I was supposed to do.

Just as my eyes read over the first sentence in the book, he placed his palm over the it, obstructing my view. I blinked, glancing up at him questioningly.

"I have a better idea of how to spend our time together," a mischievous grin spread over his face as his eyes flickered over to my lips. His voice was lower than usual, husky almost. "We have the house to ourselves."

"What do you propose?" I asked slowly, stretching out my words.

He brushed a few strands of my hair behind my back. His finger skimmed over my neck ever-so-slightly, his hand snaking behind it as he leaned in, connecting his lips with mine.

His kiss was gentle and soft as his hand found my hair. I melted into his touch and the pen in my hand slipped and fell onto the table with a light tap. My eyes fluttered shut, the taste of him silencing all my thoughts.

Liam's arms snaked under my knees, scooping me up in one swift move. His kiss grew intense and the feeling of his lips moving against mine was all-consuming. I was vaguely aware of Liam taking us up the stairs.

My fingers tugged at the neckline of his shirt, deepening the kiss. We broke apart as he set me down on something soft — his bed.

His breath danced on my lips. I sucked in a deep breath and all I could smell was his cologne, and his scent that was only his.

There was nothing holding us back now. It was so easy to get lost in him, his smell, his touch and his dark eyes. My eyes locked with his, and once again, I was thrown into a sea of stars, drowning in them.

There was not a second of hesitation; he was on top of me and his mouth was locked on mine in a passionate kiss. I stopped breathing and I stopped thinking. Shivers of pleasure shot through my body as he deepened the kiss.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer. The only thing that separated our bodies were the thin fabrics of our shirts. I dug my hands into his hair, and a low moan sounded from the back of his throat.

Liam's body was tight to mine as he kissed me harder. I let out a shaky breath into his mouth and he took the chance to slip his tongue inside. My heart swelled to the point of bursting and heated sparks raced up my spine.

I jerked up when his hand travelled up my skirt, his fingers slightly brushing over the inside of my thigh. I bucked my hips, the sensation of his touch was maddening, scurrying across my body.

I'd never felt this way about anyone before, or ever. Liam did something to me. His touch was addicting, like a drug and I couldn't get enough of it. I wanted more of him. Life after life, I'd only ever want him.

My hands moved from his neck to the hem of his shirt. I tugged at it, and we broke apart again just enough for me to pull it over his head.

His hand rode up, moving under my shirt, tucking underneath the strap of my bra. The light stroke of his finger brought another rush of tingles through me. Blood rushed to my cheeks. His arms tightened around me, deepening the kiss into something so intense that it left my head spiralling and my body limp.

It became the kind of kiss that left me wanting and feeling. With Liam, everything felt right.

My hands travelled lower, to his stomach. It was hard, toned, dipping in all the right places. My hands moved even lower, playing with the waistband of his pants. He shuddered from my touch.

"Wait," he breathed, pulling apart.

I almost groaned at the loss of contact, "What's wrong?"

"We shouldn't do this now," he murmured, his voice deeper than usual. He brushed a few stray hairs off of my forehead, moving them out of my eyes. "I think something like this deserves better than my bedroom."

My fingers played with the hair at the nape of his neck as I chuckled, "What's wrong with your room?"

"You're too perfect for it," he said softly, his eyes swimming with an emotion I couldn't decipher. He leaned into me, pressing a gentle kiss onto the square of my lips.

"Stop," my cheeks burned and a smile spread over my lips. His eyes seemed to be a shade darker than usual.

"I'm being serious," he grinned. "That reminds me, I need to grab my textbook from your house. I left it there a couple days ago."

"Oh, right. We can go now," I said as I began to sit up.

"Why the rush?" he murmured. He leaned over me and I pressed my back onto his bed again. His lips found the crook of my neck. I gasped, a new burst of tingles shooting over me.

"Liam, I t-thought we decided not to," my voice was shaky.

"We aren't going to, but that doesn't mean I'm finished," he mumbled against my neck.

My body ached for more than just kisses and touching, but I knew that the time wasn't right — not just yet.

He continued to leave soft kisses down my neck and on my collarbone. My eyes fluttered shut, the rush of sparks consuming all my thoughts.

I took the key out of the ignition, turning off my motorcycle. Liam was a couple blocks behind me in his own car, so he could pick up his textbook.

It was a warm, windless day. The sun had warmed my skin and lit up the sky in a honey-kissed glow.

"Crap," I muttered under my breath when I noticed my parents' car sitting on the driveway next to me. I'd assumed they would take longer and be back after dinner, but clearly, I was wrong.

The last thing I needed was for them to question why Liam was here, and why I had his textbook. I hung back by my bike, stuffing my helmet into the compartment.

Liam and I had not once talked about when we'd tell our parents about us. We hadn't planned anything, so I figured that today was not the day.

I hurried over to the main doors, through the stone steps. I could grab the textbook and wait for Liam outside.

But before I could even stick my key into the door, it swung open, revealing my mom on the other side of the threshold. She sported an unimpressed expression, her lips pressed flat and her nostrils flared.

I sighed, pursing my lips. Shit.
