Even though I get a lot of views, my followers aren't increasing. Please understand that I never set votes/comment target and never will because I've always said that I am writing this story for myself, because I wanted to pen down something different and this story, I believe is very different.
But when I look at other accounts with so many followers, I become sad and start getting doubts if I am not good enough to be followed.😔
Enough of my banter, let's begin with the chapter now.
Siya's POV
"Hey you two" I said, looking at both Kriti and Akash.
They both looked back at me.
"I don't want my two favorite people to have tears in their eyes," I said and they both looked at each other.
Extending his hand towards me, Akash looked at me and asked me to come to him.
I took his hand and he pulled me to them.
We were now having a group hug when Kriti said "Bhaiya, I know you really love me a lot, but I need to breathe."
He immediately let her go and they both laughed.
My hands on own accord went to the chain I was wearing, which reminded me of both of them.
"So, Bhaiya, since we'll be back to our normal schedule tomorrow, why don't we spend this time together?" she asked, sitting on the couch.
"Of course, why would I have a problem? It's not like we'll be doing the deed now. Right Siya? " he asked, looking at me.
I gasped at that.
Kriti, rolling her eyes, said "Yeah yeah, as if I believe you"
I gasped, again.
"Kriti, just to let you know, we haven't had... had" I was saying, but I trailed off. I was too shy to talk in front of her.
"What? You haven't had sex yet? " she asked, shocked.
"Kriti" I glared at her.
"There was no use revealing the truth to you Akash Bhaiya. I thought you both were so desperate for each other that you would've planted your seeds in her by now and I would be 'mausi' in the next few months. You've really disappointed me Bhaiya "she said, shaking her head.
"Kriti" I glared at her.
"What?" she shrugged.
"You can't talk about.. about" what do I say?
"Sex?" she asked again.
"Oh god Kriti, shut up" I said and I was blushing by now.
"Well, I agree with Kriti. I don't mind if there's a mini me or a mini you roaming around," Akash said, looking at me.
"Akash" I screamed at him and he just laughed.
He bloody laughed!!!
"I won't talk to both of you," I said, pouting and sitting on the couch.
"It's okay, baby; talking isn't necessary for creating a miniature version of you or me. We just, you know, have to do the deed, "he said again.
I glared at him.
"You're wrong, bhaiya, sometimes you need to talk dirty while doing the deed, you know just to get the right amount of pleasure," Kriti said with a mischievous smile.
I gave her an unbelievable look.
"Kriti, please stop it" I said, keeping my hands on my ears.
"Okay, okay enough now, no one will tease her," Akash said and side hugged me.
Relief washed over me, but it was short lived because Akash said "don't worry Kriti, I'll plant my seeds in her very soon."
I gave him an unbelievable look and when he looked at me, he was stifling his laughter.
"Just to remind you, we'll not be doing anything till we get married," I said, keeping my hands over my chest.
"Yes, I remember saying that to you, so to do the deed, I need to marry you. Not a problem, let's get married now "he shrugged.
"We can't get married now," I said.
"Why?" he asked me.
"You'll first establish your company, make your parents proud, only then will I marry you," I said keeping my forefinger on his chest.
"Hmmm... what if I am not successful, won't you marry me?" He asked me.
Oh my god. Did he take me wrong?
"No way Akash, it's nothing like that. You very well know, me being with you has nothing to do with your money and you being successful. I just feel like when you'll be so close to finally achieving your dream and establishing your own company, I don't want to be any kind of distraction to you, "I said, what was in my mind.
Holding his hand, taking a deep breath, I said "Akash, I don't want to brag about it but you already know to keep you and your family away from any harm, I've really endured a lot and I would do it again, without any hesitation, without thinking twice."
"Please don't say this Siya, I can't let anything like that happen to you, ever. I was a fool to leave you once, I can't do it again. " he said, supping my cheeks.
Holding his hands in mine, I said "I know Akash, but just think about it. I don't want to create any distractions for you. "
"You'll never be a distraction to me, baby," he declared.
"I know, but I just want you to achieve your dreams, before we marry," I said.
"Is that what you want?" he asked me.
I nodded my head.
Sighing, he said "okay. If that's what you want, I would like to let you know that even if we marry, you'll not be any kind of distraction to me. "
"I know but... It's just my dream which I haven't told you yet," I said.
"What dream?" he asked, scrunching his nose in confusion.
"I want you to win the best entrepreneur of the year award and dedicate your speech to your family and then you could introduce me to the world as your fiancé. I won't mind," I said and shrugged my shoulders.
"Oh. For how long have you been dreaming about it? "he asked, pinching my nose.
"Since the day you told me about your dream of establishing your company," I said.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" he asked me.
"Because I was waiting for the right time to tell you about this, but I guess the right time never came," I said and looked down.
"There's nothing like right time, baby. Whatever you feel like, you should tell me then and there, without thinking much, because right now I want to do nothing but fulfill all your dreams, "he said and cupped my cheeks.
"You very well know, we've lost a lot of time which we could've spent together and now I want to do nothing but fulfill all your desires and dreams. I want to spoil you rotten. I want to show you what you mean to me "he said and kissed my forehead.
I looked into his eyes and said "If I really mean something to you, then promise me, you'll be with me and fulfil my dream of getting the best entrepreneur of the world award. That would mean everything to me. "
"I promise" he said and cupping my cheeks, pecked my lips.
"Ewwww" we heard a voice and immediately I put some distance between us, but this devil here didn't let me go.
"Devil" I muttered under my breath.
"Yes and you're my angel" he said and pecked my lips again, but as soon as he was about to deepen the kiss, I pulled back.
"Ewwww" we heard the voice again.
It was obviously Kriti.
"Don't behave like hormonal teenagers you two. Get a room "she said and rolled her eyes.
"No, we won't," Akash said even before I could say anything.
"Okay then, I am going," she said and was about to get up when I pulled her wrist and she landed on the couch again.
"See girl, however outspoken I might be, I am not interested in seeing you both making babies in front of me" she said and rolled her eyes.
"Kriti, it was just a kiss, if you've forgotten, just a kiss doesn't make babies" I rolled my eyes and said to her.
"I am glad you know it. Looking at the reaction you gave me while talking about sex a few minutes back, I thought I'd have to teach you everything, "she said.
"Why do you need to teach her everything? What am I for? "the devil spoke.
I gave him an unbelievable look and he gave a mischievous smile to Kriti and when I looked at her, she was smiling back at him.
Akash's POV
I was enjoying their cute banter when I received a call from Sid. "Dude, where are you?" he asked me.
"At Kriti's flat," I said.
The two of them were still bantering when I excused myself to talk to him.
"When will you be coming back?" he asked me.
"Why?" I asked him.
"I am hungry dude" he said.
"Oh... actually, Kriti asked me to stay, and we'll probably have dinner together," I said, looking out the window and saw that the sun had already set.
"Okay, I'll cook something for myself," he said, sighing heavily.
"Wait Sid" I said, but was contemplating whether to ask him to come to this flat or not. It wasn't my flat after all.
"Who's it?" A voice came from behind me.
When I turned back, I saw Siya standing there with a smile which automatically made me smile as well.
"It's Sid" I mouthed and turned around.
After a few seconds, I felt two small hands circling my waist from behind me, making me smile. She kept her head on my back. The feeling was so surreal that I can't describe it in words.
"Hello, Akash, are you there?" Sid said on the phone.
"Yeah, I am still here" I said and kept my right hand over her hands which were around my waist.
"Okay then I guess I need to eat alone today," he said.
Siya removed her hands and came in front of me, scrunching her nose in confusion.
She's so cute.
Taking the phone from me, she asked "what is he saying?"
"He was waiting for me to have dinner, but I guess he'll have to eat alone," I said.
"Why?" she asked me.
"Kriti has asked us to eat together but she didn't say anything about Sid, so I can't ask him to come here," I said.
"Of course he can come here," she said and put my phone on speaker.
"Hi Sid, it's me Siya" she said.
"Yes Siya, I apologize for disturbing you both; please enjoy." He was about to disconnect the call when she said quickly, "No Sid, please don't disconnect the call, and you can never disturb us. Please don't say that. If possible, can you please come here? We were planning to have dinner and it would obviously be incomplete with you. "
"Are you sure I can come? I mean, won't Kriti mind? "he asked.
"She won't mind, in fact she loves your presence" she said dreamily and when she realized what she had said, she bit her tongue.
"What do you mean?" he asked her before I could ask her.
"I mean to say, she won't mind your presence. Please come soon Sid, we'll have fun, just like old times, "she said.
"Okay, if you say so. I'll be there in ten minutes "he said and disconnected the call.
I narrowed my eyes at her and she gave me a sweet smile.
"She likes his presence" I asked, narrowing my eyes at her.
"No, it was just a slip of the tongue," she said and smiled sheepishly.
"Siya" I asked her in a warning tone.
Sighing, she said "I know Akash, you want me to tell you everything, but please trust me. It's nothing like what you're thinking. "
"Okay, then what is it?" I asked her.
"I feel like Kriti likes her, but before her crush or likeness towards him could be converted to love, Sid stopped talking to her, but my suspicion grew when I saw many boys approaching her, but she denied each one of them. She never dated anyone. I think she still likes him a lot and is secretly wishing for him to approach her, "she said.
"Oh my god" I said.
"Yeah, in fact, even when I broke up with you I asked her many times to contact him but she never did it. Probably because she was too hurt by his actions, "she said.
"But now when she saw Sid approaching her, I guess she was secretly waiting for him, but this is just my wild guess," she said.
"So she wants to take her revenge on Sid for his actions?" I asked.
"Yes, I think and most importantly, I think the reason why she doesn't give him a damn is because she wants him to try harder to gain her forgiveness," she said.
"Okay, so that's why she was so adamant to not let him around her," I asked.
"Yes," she said and grinned.
"But whatever it is Akash, even if they've the slightest chance of being together, I want them to take that chance. I really want them to be together, "she said dreamily.
"You'd be very happy if they both end up together, right?" I asked her.
"Yes. She's such a sweetheart, such a pure soul. She's a true friend and she has had her fair share of ups and downs which she never talks about, but that doesn't mean she isn't hurting. I've seen her, yearning for him, spending sleepless nights, waiting just for his one message. I've seen her hopes of being with him as a friend crushing down. I've seen her crying for him. All this indicated just one thing that she probably likes him or loves him, "she said.
"I had no idea she was so hurt," I said, looking at Kriti, who was now changing channels on the television.
"I know. Our break up has really affected their relationship as well and I want them to sort out their differences as soon as possible, "she said.
"They'll sort everything out. Just give them some time. I told Sid that he would get her apology," I said.
"I know he will, but I'm not sure why; I just want it to happen as soon as possible," she sighed.
"It'll happen baby, very soon," I said and kissed her forehead, assuring her.
