Hey my lovely readers.
How are you all?
Are you all enjoying the book so far?
Well, I enjoyed it a lot because finally Siya and Akash confessed.
Yepeeee
Let's see the actual communication now between Akash and Siya.
Siya's POV
After our intense make-out session where Akash sucked the life out of my lips, we were cuddling with each other as he pulled me towards him and wrapped his hands around my waist, securing me in his arms.
We were both naked, under the sheets, but neither of us seemed to mind, and we both had a content smile on our lips.
Akash was kissing my forehead and hair every now and then, which was soothing me and calming my racing heart and also assuring me that he would be with me, always.
I am sure Akash could listen to my racing heart as much as his heart was racing. I was able to hear it because my head was just above his heart.
After a few minutes, I asked him, looking into his eyes, "aren't you angry at me?"
Kissing my forehead, he gave me his best smile and said "how can I be angry at you for something which isn't your fault?"
I looked down and a tear slipped out of my eyes.
Wiping my tears, he said "don't cry Siya. I can't see you cry. "
"I know you were forced and tortured to leave me and I also know you tried your best to keep your ground in front of your mother," he said.
"I am sorry...I was so scared of her threatening that I... I didn't know what to do. Believe me Akash, I tried my best to stand against her, but when she blackmailed me to drag your family to court and said that she could impose false accusations on you, I lost it, "I said, crying.
"Shhhh baby. Please don't cry. I know you wouldn't have given up without trying. I trust you "he said, wiping my tears.
"The only feeling I have right now is disappointment. I am disappointed with both you and myself. Disappointed with myself because I couldn't see your real condition, when everything was right in front of my eyes. How was I such a fool not to notice your suffering? Also, I am disappointed in you because I tried my best to build enough confidence in you to stand up for what's wrong, "he said.
"I wouldn't have been bothered as much if you hadn't defended me, but the reason I'm upset is that you didn't defend yourself when your mother was emotionally torturing you and physically abu... abusing you," he said, his voice heavy with emotion as he said the last part.
"You're my queen Siya. I've always treated you like one. I couldn't stand a single strand of your hair getting affected by anything but even the thought of you crying for me, getting physically abused because of me when you tried to take a stand for me, "he said, his voice almost choking.
"I am sorry to say this Siya, but right now I feel like just going to your mother and teaching her a lesson about doing all those things to you," he said with venom.
I just lowered my eyes due to embarrassment.
"Hey Siya, you don't have to think about anything. Just smile "he said, stretching my lips from either side, asking me to smile.
I smiled at his act.
"That's like my baby. I can move mountains for you, to keep you safe. You should know that, "he said.
"I know and I am... sorry" I said, not meeting his gaze and my shoulders slumped.
"Hey Siya, don't ever say sorry for something that isn't your fault," he said, raising my chin up to meet his gaze.
"It's just that because of me you had to go through a lot and mummy wasn't even bothered about it," I said.
"I don't care if she was concerned about me or not; the question here is, even if she was considering dragging me to court in the name of blackmailing you, didn't she think about you even once? Your name would be degraded if my name was degraded. It's fine if she doesn't think about me, but didn't she even once think about her own daughter? " He asked me.
I had no answer, I was tongue tied.
"Let's forget it Siya. I know I shouldn't say anything against your mother. I don't have any right to say anything to her, but you should know when it comes to you, I won't hesitate to voice my thoughts in front of anyone, "he said and I looked down.
"She won't let me marry you," I said, whispering.
"I know. After listening to the whole story and the way she treated you, I am sure convincing your parents will be much more difficult than I thought, but we'll go through it, together "he said, placing his head in the crook of my neck.
"Akash... if you don't want to go through this, we can.. we can part ways. I'll understand if you don't want us to be in a relationship, "I voiced my thought which was bugging me for a long time.
He immediately snapped his head and looked into my eyes.
"Never ever think about it. I won't give up on us so easily, "he said with anger.
"Look Siya, I know you're scared of your mother, but you just have to trust me and stand by me. Your mere presence will give me enough strength to fight for both of us, "he said.
"You trust me right?" he asked, looking into my eyes.
"Yes Akash" I said, stroking his cheeks.
"That's the only thing I need from you. I was a fool to leave you all alone with your problems. I don't want that to happen again, "he said, kissing my palms.
"Promise me, if there's any problem you'll tell me, be it related to anything," he said hopefully.
"I promise Akash" I said, smiling.
"That's like my baby" he said, kissing my head.
"Your Akash will never let you down, my queen" he said, kissing my lips.
"I know, my king" I said and he arched his eyebrows.
"Oh really? King huh? " he said and started tickling me.
"Owww... Akash... stop... stop" I said, laughing.
"No" he said and started tickling my stomach.
"No... Akash please.. please" I said, laughing hard, trying to catch my breath.
Suddenly, he stopped tickling me and when I saw him, his eyes were hooded, dark. The reason was, the blanket fell off my body exposing my naked self to his hungry eyes.
"Akash, you're such a shameless man," I said, slapping his arm.
"Only for you," he said and winked at me.
"Okay, enough of our romance. We should be going to the function now or Samaira di will kill me "I said, standing up and wrapping the blanket around me.
"You share a very friendly bond with her, right?" he asked me.
"Yes. Mostly because she was there to guide both Kriti and me through our studies. She's so sweet "I said, remembering how Samaira di helped us a lot in coping with our studies when we were in college.
When I didn't hear anything for a few seconds, I turned around and saw Akash wearing his pants, lost in his thoughts.
"Hey, what happened?" I asked him, going to him and cupping his cheeks.
"I missed out on a lot, didn't I?" he asked, sadly.
"I wasn't there when you needed someone to guide you, when you needed someone to protect you from your mother, seeing you crack the job for QLC tech. I was nowhere "he said.
"If not for me, you would've never gone through the torture that you had to go through," he said, cupping my cheeks.
"Please Akash, it isn't your fault. Don't blame yourself for something which wasn't in anybody's control, "I said, kissing his palms.
"So what if you couldn't be with me in the past? We can always make new memories, together" I said and kissed his forehead.
"Also, you don't need to worry about whatever happened in the past. Me and Kriti will fill you with all the details once we go back, "I said, winking, trying to lighten the atmosphere.
Shaking his head, he said "drama queen."
I just laughed at it.
He then took slow steps towards me and I asked "what are you doing?"
"You need help with getting ready, right? You remember your blouse. Wear it, I'll tie the strings "he said, giving me a mischievous smile.
"Stop it Akash. Please go and send Kriti. If I allow you to help me get ready, I am sure we won't be attending the function today. " I said and pushed him to the door, holding the blanket tightly to my chest to prevent it from falling.
"Siya" he whined.
"Akash" I whined and pushed him out of the door and once he was outside, I said "go and send Kriti."
When he was about to retort, I closed the door on his face.
After a few seconds, I heard footsteps going away from my room.
Smiling to myself, I held the lehenga and started tying the knot to get ready.
I don't want to get scolded by Samaira di today.
Akash's POV
I didn't want to leave her, but I didn't have a choice as she literally pushed me out of her room.
It would be wonderful if I could assist her in getting ready so that I could once again admire her naked beauty, but she refused.
I should actually be happy now that she's with me, again. That's all I ever wanted.
I grinned just thinking about it.
I was in my own world when I bumped into someone.
"Owww" I heard a familiar voice, rubbing her head.
"Kriti" I said.
"Akash bhaiya" she said, still rubbing her head.
"Yes Kriti" I said, grinning.
"What do you eat? See I got hurt because of you "she said, still rubbing her head.
"Stop acting like a kid Kriti" I said, rolling my eyes.
"I am not a kid" she said, whining.
"Yes, you're," I said, flicking her nose.
"Hawwww" she said and walked past me.
"Where're you going?" I asked her.
"To Siya. She texted me she needed help, "she said and was about to go when she suddenly stopped in her track and turned around.
"Why are you grinning?" she asked me.
"You know the reason," I said, winking at her.
"Oh my god, you both finally patched up?" she asked, jumping like a child.
"Yes" I said, pinching her cheeks.
"All thanks to you. If not for you, I would've never known the truth, "I said.
"Oh come on bhaiya, anything for you and Siya" she said, pinching my cheeks.
"I am not a kid. Don't pinch my cheeks "I said, glaring at her, swatting her hands away.
"Oh believe me, you're. You're happy as if you've just got your favorite candy "she said, pinching my cheeks again.
I huffed and said "go help your best friend."
She laughed and turned around, but then, she faced me again.
"Bhaiya?" Kriti said.
"Hmmmm?" I asked her.
"Didn't I tell you, your wish would come true?" she said.
"You know everything right?" I asked her with a small smile.
"Yes, because I am an astrologer," she said, grinning.
I laughed at her and she sped her way to Siya's room.
Shaking my head, I made my way towards the hall when I was surrounded by my family.
Oh I forgot, my family is also attending the same wedding.
"Son, how come you're here? You were supposed to be attending your friend's wedding, right? " Dad asked, confused.
"Yes dad, Samaira, the bride is my college friend" I said to him.
"Okay, so we were coming to the same wedding, then why the tantrums?" he asked, eyeing me skeptically, sipping his drink.
"Nothing dad, it's a long story," I said, sighing.
"I would love to know it," he said, handing me a drink.
"I will tell you dad, just not now" I said, sipping my drink with a small smile playing on my lips.
"You seem to be very happy" mom came to me and said.
"That's because I am, mom," I said.
"What's the matter? I've seen you so happy after such a long time, "Chachi asked me.
"I'll tell you everything, but not now," I said.
"Okay, we'll wait for you to tell us," Chachi said and went away to meet the other ladies.
I saw Samaira making her way towards me with Mohit, Sid following them.
"How was the surprise?" she asked, teasing me.
"Best surprise I could ever get," I said, grinning.
"Hope we're cool now," Mohit said.
"Of course, we are," I said, looking at him.
"I am so sorry Mohit" I said, feeling guilty.
"What are you saying sorry for?" he asked me.
"For behaving like a jerk in front of you," I said.
"Oh come on, I understand because I can imagine your condition. I would have killed the person if my Samaira had married someone else," he said, snaking his arms around her waist.
"I know and I am sorry for doubting you," I said.
"It wasn't your fault Akash. I couldn't tell you the truth right then because of the promise I made to Siya, but me and Samaira really wanted you to know the truth, which is why we specifically asked Kriti to bring her here so you could see everything with your own eyes, "he explained.
"She wasn't ready to come here because she knew she would have to face you once this was all revealed. I don't know how Kriti convinced her to attend the wedding because Siya repeatedly denied coming here, "Samaira said.
"Believe me, she's a pro when it comes to convincing others," I said.
"Yeah, that she is," Mohit said, laughing.
"Where are both of them by the way? Kriti got a text from Siya to help her get ready, but both of them aren't here yet. How can I begin the function without my two favorite girls? " Samaira said, whining.
My eyes went to Sid, who was raking his eyes through the hall, probably searching for someone.
"Don't worry, they'll be here soon," I whispered in Sid's ear and he grinned.
I was just waiting for my Siya and Sid, for Kriti.
