I heard giggles as I reached the front door of our house. Nakakapagtaka lang dahil sa pagkakaalam ko, si Ate Bea lang ang nandito.
Pagpasok ko ay sabay silang natigilan at sakin itinuon ang atensyon.
"Hey Pongs."
"Ate Jho?" I whispered her name as soon as I knew who's with Ate Bea. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Pauline! Stop being rude. Bisita natin siya kaya ayusin mo ang palikitungo mo sa kanya." Maawtoridad na wika ni Ate Bei.
Duh! I'm just asking why is she here. Bastos na nga agad.
Inirapan ko lang silang dalawa at pumunta sa kwarto ko. Kumuha ako ng damit atsaka nagpalit. I stayed here for a while since I don't wanna be with that girl. Bakit naman kasi dinala-dala ba siya dito ni Ate Bea.
I tried to call Deanna but her phone is out of coverage. Aish! Ano na naman bang ginagawa ni Deans ng ganitong oras?
I sighed as a sign of defeat. Wala naman akong choice kundi bumaba at makisalamuha sa kanila kesa sa mabulok ako dito sa kwarto.
Agad akong nakalanghap ng mabangong amoy ng pasta. I bet Ate Bea cooked for us so I walked to the kitchen and I saw the two of them cooking. Naramdaman na naman siguro nila ang presensya ko dahil napatingin si Ate Jhoana sakin.
"Nandyan ka pala Ponggay. Sandali na lang to then we're going to eat." Nakangiti niyang sabi. Binigyan ko lang din siya ng pekeng ngiti at umupo sa dining table.
Pagkatapos nilang magluto, naglagay ng plato si Ate Bea at yung isa naman ang naghapag ng pasta sa mesa. She also brought juice.
"Kain na tayo." Sabi ni Ate Bei at pinanghila ng upuan si Ate Jho.
"Salamat." Saad naman nung isa na abot tenga ang ngiti .
Ang harot.
Naglagay na ako ng pasta sa plato at nagsimulang kumain. I'm not minding them tho and I don't have any intention to talk to her.
"Kanina ka pa tahimik Pongs. What's up?" Ate Bea asked so I stopped and looked at me.
"I just simply don't want to talk. Masama ba?" Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay at nagpatuloy sa pagkain.
"Hindi naman pero hindi rin masamang kausapin si Jho, right?"
"Ano ba kasing ginagawa niya dito?" Tanong ko na para bang wala si Ate Jho dito kasama namin.
Psh, ginusto na yan edi panindigan niya.
We aren't in good terms back when we are still living in New Zealand. Medyo matapobre din kasi ang pamilya nila kaya ayaw namin ni Deanna sa kanila. Ewan ko ba bakit pumunta yan dito at close na sila agad ni Ate Bei. Anong nangyari sa dati niyang trabaho? Okay naman siya dun ah.
"She'll be working on GTF kapag nagtanggap na siya. Kailangan na lang niyang magpresent bukas sa companya para sa final screening then she's ready to go."
"Pero saan siya titira?" I asked again.
Don't tell me she's going to live here. Hindi na ako papayag dun. Buti nga hindi siya agad nireject ng kumpanya nila Jema kung hindi, I'm sure her parents will get disappointed to her.
"I'll just get her a unit in our condo."

Deanna's POV
I was woke up by the sunlight hitting my eyes. Dahan-dahan akong gumalaw at nakita ang pinakamagandang dilag na pinakamamahal ko.
"Good morning love." I kissed her shoulder that made her smile.
"Good morning."
I checked my watch and it's 8:30 in the morning.
Shoot! I just remembered we still have our work.
Kaya agad ko siyang sinabihan at naligo naman ako. Pagkatapos ko, pinanguha ko na lang siya ng damit ko sa closet at ibinigay sa kanya. Pagmamay-ari ko ay pagmamay-ari na rin niya.
Dali-dali kaming lumabas ng unit at bumaba sa ground floor habang hawak ang kanyang kamay.
I suddenly stopped when I saw Ate Bea with Jhoana at the lobby. Ano na namang ginagawa nila dito at magkasama na naman sila?
Nakita din sila ni Jema kaya napagpasyahan naming lumapit sa kanila para malaman kung anong pinunta nila dito.
"We're here to get Jhoana's unit. She'll be staying here for a while." Ate Bei answered.
"Oh okay."
Mabuti naman kung ganon. Akala ko patitirahin niya yan sa bahay namin. I'm sure Ate Bea will be the one who will buy for her stay here.
Nakisabay na silang dalawa samin papunta sa GTF since magpepresent si Jho at manonood kami ni Ate Bea.
