George's POV

George's breath caught as he stared into Dream's eyes. He was, to put it simply, attractive. Or rather, beautiful was a better way to put it.

Dream watched George curiously as he looked at him for the first time.

George's eyes traced every feature of Dream's face. He studied Dream's devastatingly pretty eyes. They seemed to lure George into a trance. He watched as a lock of dirty-blonde hair drifted across Dream's forehead, hovering above his quirked eyebrow.

George's eyes fell to Dream's freckles, which speckled his cheeks in patterns much like stars. His nose fit his tan face perfectly.

Several small scars dotted Dream's face. George wondered where he got them. Each seemed to have their own story.

George's hands hovered near Dream's face, aching to touch him.

His eyes traveled the sharp line of Dream's jaw to his mouth. George studied Dream's soft lips, which were tugged in a smirk. He traced the curve of Dream's bottom lip with a finger.

Feeling himself flush, he looked back up to Dream's eyes. Dream alluring eyes were lit with curiosity and smugness.

Dream was too goddamn attractive and he knew it.

George's finger, which was still on Dream's lip, twitched slightly. Dream's mouth parted in response. George's gaze flicked down to Dream's lips and he licked his own instinctively.

George bit his lip. His thumb gently pushed its way into Dream's mouth. He traced the line of Dream's teeth and felt a tongue brush against his touch.

George glanced up to Dream's half-lidded eyes. Dream's breathing became slightly irregular as he stared down longingly at George.

George lifted himself onto his tiptoes and leaned forward, bringing himself closer to Dream.

Just then, the horse stomped her foot. George's head whipped to the direction of the sound.

Butterflies scattered from their perch on the horse. This movement caused the rest of the butterflies to fly up and swarm around George and Dream.

George smiled softly, forgetting about Dream for a moment as the butterflies danced around them once again.

He felt a hand grab his chin and pull him into a kiss. George gasped in surprise, but it was cut off when their lips connected.

George breathlessly kissed Dream. He gingerly ran his fingers through Dream's hair. Dream's tongue pushed its way into George's mouth and tentatively traced his teeth. George let out a small noise and Dream hummed against his lips.

They gradually memorized each other's taste the longer they kissed. George bit gently on Dream's lip and Dream purred blissfully.

This kiss was very different from the one from his first day of training. That one was full of desire and rush from their lust. This time, they kissed slowly. They learned how the other felt.

George slowly pulled away and smiled onto Dream's mouth. He pressed a quick kiss to Dream's mouth and shifted his weight back to his heels.

Dream looked at George with such longing in his eyes, making George's stomach flutter like the butterflies around them.

"That was..." Dream trailed off, his voice husky.

"...amazing?" George finished.

Dream nodded and went to say something else when a butterfly landed on his nose.

George burst into giggles at Dream's confused expression. Dream's lips tugged into a smile.

The butterfly's wings flapped softly against Dream's nose. It made Dream look like a gentle giant.

George grinned as the butterflies started to settle back down. He caught one in his hand and held it delicately.

Its almost undetectable feet brushed lightly against his skin, making him shiver. George looked back to Dream.

Dream gently brushed the butterfly from his nose and grabbed George's free hand.

He led George to an open spot by the clear pool of water.

"Lay with me?" Dream asked.

George grinned softly and nodded.

They laid on the soft grass and looked up at the butterflies. George's eyes lit up with happiness as he watched the delicate creatures flutter back to their perches.

George and Dream laid in silence for a while as the sky started to darken.

When it was almost completely dark Dream stood up.

"Follow me," he said quietly.

George nodded and Dream helped him up. Dream started climbing a tree. George gave him a confused look, but he followed him up the tree.

The stopped near the top and Dream turned down to him, his eyes sparkling.

"Close your eyes," Dream whispered excitedly.

"Why?" George asked as he struggled to get up by Dream.

"Just do it. Trust me."

George bit his lip and closed his eyes. He felt Dream grab him and pull him up.

"Keep your eyes closed," Dream murmured.

George listened. He noticed they weren't sitting on a branch. Instead, it felt like a worn, wooden board.

George felt Dream gently push his shoulders back onto the surface. His back hit the wooden board.

"You can open them now," Dream whispered.

George opened one eye and peeked at Dream, who was sitting crisscross beside him. His gaze drifted past Dream and he opened both of his eyes, gasping.

Behind Dream was the endless night sky. The dark openness was filled with stars which lit up the world below them.

The millions of bright stars reminded George of Dream's freckles.

He looked to Dream. He gave George a charming grin. His eyes were sparkling like the stars.

"What do you think?"

George's eyes flicked back to the constellations in the vast sky, "It's amazing."

Dream nodded in agreement. He didn't lay down and look at the stars like George. Instead he watched George.

"You know you're missing the view," George said to Dream.

"This view is better," Dream murmured.

George raised an eyebrow and started to grin. "You're such an idiot."

Dream shrugged, "An idiot with taste."

George flushed, still grinning. He couldn't think of a reply.

Dream smirked, feeling confident he said, "I like making you flustered."

George glared at him. "Okay, well you can stop now."

Dream grinned like an idiot. "Hmmm. I don't think so. Let me think of something else to fluster you with..."

George sighed and looked back at the sky. Dream hummed as he thought. Dream let out a chuckle.

"Is your body a map? Because I love to travel."

"Dream!" George shouted as his face flushed again.

Dream wheezed and continued, "What's a nice guy like you doing in a dirty mind like mine?"

George's mouth dropped as he felt his face heat up even more. When did Dream come up with these lines?

"I've been wondering... do your lips taste as good as they look?"

George shook his head and rolled his eyes. Dream was still laughing from beside him.

"You already know what my lips taste like, you idiot," George muttered.

"True... but they look lonely, would they like to meet mine?"

George bit his lip, trying to hold back his laugh at Dream's cheesy lines. "You're so stupid."

Dream laughed playfully. "But did it work though?"

George didn't reply, he just glared at Dream.

Dream grinned in victory, "I knew my hours of standing in the mirror flirting with myself would pay off eventually!"

George snorted. He pressed his lips in a thin line, trying to hold back his smile.

Dream sighed happily. He pressed a quick kiss to the corner of George's lips before laying down beside him. George blushed, making Dream chuckle.

"Don't even start," George warned.

"Awww, but I love messing with you, Georgie," Dream whined.

George glared at him and Dream pressed his lips together, unsuccessfully holding back a smile. George smiled softly and looked back to the stars. They descended into a comfortable silence.

He heard Dream's breathing slow into a peaceful rhythm. George bit his lip and sighed contently. He wondered if Dream had done all of this just because it was implied that George was lonely.

George pushed the thought away and focused on the breathing of the sleeping Dream next to him. Dream really was a gentle giant. George smiled at the thought.

For once he wasn't thinking about running. He wasn't planning an escape. He just laid with Dream under the endless sea of stars.

He was perfectly happy right where he was.
