*Kya's pov*
"Hold on I am almost done"
"It hurts you know?"
"You are the Avatar, master of all the elements, got her bending taken, fought a giant evil spirit, got poisoned.... Twice, and fought a giant mecha suit and managed to fight a pure spirit energy, have I forgotten to mention anything? I think not, this is nothing"
"If you say so, just get it over with" she sighed as I moved the water around the wound on her head
"Don't worry Korra, we will find them"
"It's not that... I just wish this would all stop"
"I know, you have been through a lot but I have to ask, why didn't you fight back?"
I looked at her and placed the water back into the bowl, it was now slightly red from all the blood. Korra looked down on the floor then on what used to be her leg that was on the table
"Do you think Asami will be mad that I broke it?"
"It was you who broke it?"
"No..."
"Korra she wouldn't be mad even if you would be the one who broke it" I chuckled and placed my hand on her shoulder softly "I will get some fresh water, take your time, but we have to talk about what happened" I said and I stood up with the bowl and walked into the bathroom...

*Korra's pov*
The silence filled the room until I heard the clock ticking, Kya and Lin lived in a small adorable apartment, there was a fireplace and two sofas, it was kinda dark here, but I didn't mind.
I can't come home like this, what am I supposed to tell Asami? She will be worried, and the people out there, they are gonna talk, they saw me without a leg, fuck can this be even worse?
I sighed and looked around the living room, even though I was here before, I still felt like I am here for the first time, I noticed a photo of Kya and Lin on the wall, and guess what, Lin was smiling, wow I don't think I have ever seen her smile.
I looked at the broken leg on the table again, how will I get home now? I think I have some extra ones there, the older ones, maybe Kya will take me home.
I heard a door open and Kya walked back in, she sat down next to me and lifted my head towards her
"Now, this might hurt but it won't take long" great
"I am ready" I sighed and she bent the water on my right eye, and as soon as she did that I was met with a sharp pain as I slightly moved on the side and hissed, she wanted to say something but I stopped her
"I said I am ready, just didn't expect that" I said and looked at her again as she nodded, I felt the pain again but this time I didn't move
"So... Are you gonna tell me what happened?" she asked and I sighed
"What is there to tell? I went to help some woman that was assaulted by one of them, and while I was distracted by them, the rest of them got out, they destroyed my leg and I landed on the ground, and before I managed to do anything, I got hit in the head and everything was blurry, they started hitting and kicking me and when it was all clear I went into the Avatar State and with that I managed to fight, them. I moved into the booth and called you" I finished as she looked at me and nodded.
"We have to tell Lin, I think she could get you guys some extra security, her and Asami will be here soon" she slowly bent the water back into the bowl and grabbed the first aid kit
"You told Asami I am here?!"
She opened the first aid kit and froze for a second, then sighed and pulled out some bandages and sterile cover and poured something that was in an untagged bottle on it.
"You are gonna change this every once in a while, at least 3x times a day, in the morning when you wake up, and in the evening before you go to sleep, then sometime during the day" she said as she slightly pressed the cover on my right eye then grabbed an eye patch that was in the first aid kit and put it around my head
"You didn't answer"
"I am thinking about what to answer"
"Spirits Kya there is only one answer, did you tell her or-"
"She got also ambushed okay? I called Lin right after you hang up telling her about what happened and she told me Asami called her as well, now let me finish and don't you dare to get up, I am not done yet"
"You kinda forgot I can't walk"
"You would find a way" she sighed "Asami got her security guards there, so I hope she will be in a better shape than you, plus she had both legs"
"Very funny Kya"
"Sorry, lay down they should be here soon so try to relax, she'll be fine" she said and I sighed and slowly laid on the sofa
"Does she know?"
"No, I don't think so, only if Lin-"
"SLOW DOWN YOU'RE BLEEDING!"
"I DON'T CARE! I NEED TO SEE HER!"
We looked towards the door then at each other then back at the door as the door opened, Asami was standing there with Lin next to her as I sit up. Once Asami noticed me she rushed to me and knelt beside me, ignoring everything around
"Korra sweetie are you okay?" she asked in a worried tone as she softly touched the eye patch that covered my right eye
"I'm okay Asami, are you alright? Let Kya take a look at you please" I noticed the stab wound on her right arm as I moved and made her some space as she sat down next to me.
"Anyone gonna explain what happened?" Lin asked as she walked towards us and sat down on the other sofa that was right in front of the one we were sitting at.
Kya grabbed some cotton pad and explored the stabwound on Asami's arm, her nose was also bleeding so I took one of the pads and wiped it off
"We both got ambushed as you can see" I said not taking my eyes off of the love of my life
"Duh, no way sherlock, but what happened to you? I already know what happened with Asami I need your details, and I am sure Asami would like to know as well what happened" she said
"That's true"
"It was a surprise attack and there was a lot of them, they got my leg first then hit me in the head, it took me a while to get my senses back and once I did I fought back" I sighed and looked on the ground
"What happened to your eye?" Asami asked as she placed her hand on my cheek
"Broken orbit" Kya said as she finished healing Asami's arm "It should be fine in a few days, but it might be sensitive to light, Asami could you look at me? I will take a look at your nose" she finished and Asami did as she was told, I placed my hand on hers and softly squeezed it.
"I think this all is planned, and by one group Asami sighed
"What makes you think that?" Lin asked, Asami reached inside of the pocket of her jacket and pulled out a piece of paper as she gave it to me
"I found that on the back seat of my car yesterday, it was before the attack in my office, I totally forgot about it that day but after this? I think it has something to do with it"
I slowly opened the paper and read out loud what it say "The Avatar is weak, you should look out for your own safety princess, she can't be everywhere to guide you, and soon she won't be able to guide anyone" What is this?
"Give me that" Lin reached for it as I gave it to her "Why didn't you told us sooner Asami?"
"I don't know, I really don't" she sighed as Kya finished healing Asami's broken nose
"Well now we have something to work with"
I didn't say anything as Kya stood up and walked towards Lin and sat down next to her
"Well, what now?" I asked
"We have to investigate this further, I will make sure that you both will get more safety"
"Thanks" I said quickly why didn't Asami tell me? Doesn't she trust me? I have to talk to her about this
Kya noticed I have something to tell Asami, so she stood up and dragged Lin with her
"We'll leave you two alone, if anything we will be in the room next door come on Lin," she said as they both walked out and I sighed
"Korra-"
"Why didn't you tell me? Asami I thought we tell each other everything" I looked at her
"I know, I'm sorry, it was for your own good"

*3rd pov*
"My own good?! I am the fucking Avatar Asami I have to know about stuff like this!" Korra was getting mad, really mad, all she wanted was to protect her girlfriend
"Don't yell at me, it's not my fault!"
"Hell yeah, it is! You said you knew about it from yesterday! If you would told me none of this would happen!"
"Oh, so it's my fault now that we were attacked? You are not the only one who got hurt Korra stop blaming me for what happened!" Asami defended herself, the two girls went through a lot of stress lately as it bottled up in them, and now it was showing, as they took it out on each other
"BUT WE COULD HAVE STOPPED IT! DAMN IT ASAMI IT NEVER HAD TO HAPPEN!"
"DON'T RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME, THIS ISN'T FAIR! YOU DON'T TELL ME STUFF TOO, YOU WERE GONE FOR LKE 3 FUCKING YEARS!"
"I COULDN'T WALK, CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE HOW I FELT?!"
"YES, I CAN! BOTH OF MY PARENTS ARE DEAD!"
"YOUR DAD KNEW WHAT COULD HAPPEN IT WAS HIS CHOICE! I WAS HELD LIKE A FUCKING PRISONER UNTIL I WAS 16! I HAD NO FREEDOM!"
"WOW THAT'S SO SAD, I HAD TO LIVE WITH MY FATHER, I DIDN'T HAVE SUCH A PITCH PERFECT LIFE AS YOU THINK I DID!"
"WHY CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT I AM ONLY TRYING TO PROTECT YOU?!"
"I DON'T NEED YOUR PROTECTION KORRA! I AM NOT A FUCKING CHILD I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF!"
"I AM YOUR FUCKING GIRLFRIEND I FUCKING CARE ABOUT YOU ASAMI CAN'T YOU JUST UNDERSTAND THAT?!!"
At that moment both became silent, they were tired of fighting, it all just happened d fast
"Asami I-.... I didn't-"
"Don't."
"Asami" both girls were now crying
"Korra just don't, I don't wanna fight more" Asami sighed and wiped the tears away as Korra reached for her cheek but Asami stood up and walked towards the door
"I'm sorry, I need some time to think," she said showing zero emotion as she walked out and away.
Korra was left with mixed emotions, she didn't mean to yell at Asami, she took her anger out on the wrong person and she instantly regretted it as she broke into tears, one by one rolled down her cheeks.
You idiot, why are you like that? You're a terrible girlfriend go apologize
She thought, Korra wanted to get up but she remembered she's missing one leg, which made her cry more, and just a seconds later she felt a pair of hands wrap around her from behind
"Auntie I... I'm so stupid" she sobbed
"It's alright darling just let it all out" Kya felt empathy for Korra, the younger girl had to carry the world's weight on her shoulders, it's understandable she snapped.
"Come on, let's get you a new leg, I have some crutches in the back, we'll drive down to the hospital and get you a new one"
"Thanks Kya, it means a lot to me" Korra smiled at the older woman and wiped her tears off. Kya went to look for the crutches as Lin and Korra discussed the safety.
When she got back she handed Korra the crutches
"Let's go"

*Asami's pov*
I was walking down the street since I didn't have my car, I had the rest of the day off so I didn't have to go back to my job, thoughts were flooding in my head, did she really meant what she said? How did we even start fighting? I know she is only worried about me but I am an adult, I can take care of myself.
As I was literally drowning myself in thoughts I didn't even notice I lost track of where I was, it was an empty long street and no one was there which was quite weird since it was like 12 pm, I continued walking I heard people talking in one of the side aisles, usually, I would let it go, but the mention of 'The Unfazed' caught my attention, The Unfazed is the group of people where I moved my people right?
"Why are you so worried? We are just helping the others"
"Kalan what if they will catch us? We killed a person and we stole drugs!"
"I know, just shut up and help me with this box, we will come back for it later"
"Okay"
Murder?! Drugs?! This can't be real! I have to tell the police! Korra probably doesn't know about this, but who knows where she is now, I'm sorry Kor, it's not like I don't trust you but this is getting too far.
I quickly rushed back the way I got here, I made sure to remember where exactly the whole thing happened.
Once I got on the main road again, I got into the phone booth and thought about who should I call. I don't wanna do it, but right now I think Mako would be the best choice. As much as I didn't want to, I dialled his phone number, he picked up in a matter of seconds.
"Officer Mako here"
"Hey Mako, it's Asami"
"Oh, hey Asami, are you alright?"
"Yeah I am fine, look Mako I overheard a conversation of two people and I think they did something illegal"
"What exactly did you hear?"
"Something about them murdering someone and stealing drugs, I know these people, well sorta, they are part of the group 'The Unfazed' Korra knows about them as well but I don't think she knows this, I never met their leader but I think they have something to do with it"
"Okay tell me where it happened, do you know where their base is?"
"Yeah give me a second..."

*time skip*
*10 pm that day*
*3rd pov*
Korra walked down the street towards her home, she bought Asami some flowers, she wanted to apologize, she really fucked up, when she, Kya and Lin got to the hospital and they got me the her, they all went to do their things after that, after all, Korra still had some business to deal with but now she was finally heading home.
It didn't take long and she was finally in front of the door to their house, the Avatar pulled out the keys and unlocked the door
"Asami? Are you here?" she called out, the lights were on in the hallway and the kitchen, and soon the love of her life walked out from it.
"Korra"
"I got you these" Korra smiled and showed her the flowers, she looked at them then at Korra again "Asami please, let me talk for a little" she said as she placed them aside
"I am really sorry about what happened, what I said, I didn't mean to, I took my anger out on you, it was unfair I-.... I'm so sorry" Korra held Asami's hands as tears formed in her eyes
"Korra I-"
"REPUBLIC CITY POLICE! PUT YOUR HANDS UP!"
They heard someone shouting from the direction of the door as Korra was tackled to the ground and handcuffs were put on her.
"Avatar Korra you are under arrest, you have no right to testify, everything you say can and will be used in court against you, you have the right to choose a lawyer. If you won't find any the lawyer will be assigned to you by the court." Mako screamed
"What?! I haven't done anything!" Korra defended herself
"Mako what are you doing!" Asami wanted to take a step closer but some of the officers held her back
"you are accused of drug smuggling, leading an illegal community and second-degree murder" Mako continued as Korra tried to fight the officers but as soon as she did she got shocked by one of the tasers as she stopped fighting
"If I were you I wouldn't fight, don't make this worse for yourself. Get her to the car" Mako finished as the officers dragged cuffed Korra outside "Let her go" he said to the officers that were holding Asami back as they did what they were told.
Asami was confused, she was still trying to process what was happening, her girlfriend just got arrested in front of her and accused of murder, drugs and illegally leading some group of people.
"It had to be done, I'm sorry you had to see that Asami," Mako said as he took a step closer "Happy birthday, by the way, I know it's in two days but I might be busy." He put his hand on her shoulder
"Asami I am just as shocked as you, but you did the right thing by calling the police"
He continued as he walked out of Asami's house.
The police drove away with her girlfriend and it all finally hit her, leading an illegal community? Drugs? Murder? But it would make sense, that's why she couldn't meet the leader, because Korra was the leader of The Unfazed! And she just called the police on her.
But Asami didn't want to believe the fact Korra would kill someone, no that's not right, Korra probably didn't even know about this, but since she was the leader, the police assumed she was the one who made it happen.
Asami fell on the ground crying, she called the police on her own girlfriend, and now she could go to jail, but she didn't know, how was she supposed Korra was the leader?
But what if Korra actually did these things?
She couldn't think straight, she didn't want to believe the fact that her girlfriend was a drug dealer and murderer, she just sat there, crying about what she just lost and what she just did.

Hey Hoes!
So I am not quite sure if this is like a comeback, but I finally got some motivation to writing so I think it's fine.
The chapter might not be as good as the others, but I must say I am really proud of how it turned out.
I also wanna thank @just_an_unknown_boy for helping me with the fight scene, he is a good friend of mine and he got me a lot of inspiration, the fight was all that was missing there now and we can finally get to the main point of the story.
I want y'all to know that Korra getting arrested is not the main plot yet, but this chapter and the events here were what was missing to get to it, so that will also help.
Anyways I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter, we will see how often I will update but I hope it will get better.
