Connie's POV
"Hold it down! Hold it!" Otar exclaimed
"Hey we are trying!" Jamie said
"Tell something we don't know!" I exclaimed myself
'ALERT THE PRESSURE OF THE PORTAL IS UNDER DANGER'
"We alreay noticed computer!" Otar replied
It's sunday morning. Funny, many would portray this a relaxing day, go on a picnic or even have a family vacation.....yet I don't find myself in these comforts. Instead I find myself in a friend's house holding down the door full of fish on the other side.
To say she wasn't gonna go fishing today would now sound silly and untrue.
I almost regrets she didn't go with my dad once to catch some fish....I did study much on the species though.
However never before had I imagined to be dealing with a wave of trouts coming from a house door. Then again I neverhad imagined to see any aliens either.
It began early in the morning when I came out of my home to visit Steven and go around the little homeschool.
I also had a training session with Pearl and Jamie. The two of us are practicing alot. Connie began her training ealeir so she's a few steps ahead of Jamie.
He soon catches up however with us having the same level of dedication which I'm sure we have.
We were then called by Otar as he asked us to come and help on our way out and here we are.
"How do you even manage to get this much fish banging on your house!?" Jamie said
"Or did you open the portal in the coean this time?!" Connie exclaimed
"Yeah yeah very funny!" Otar said as he tried to quickly hack the energy shield on the door which we held agianst.
"Almost there!" Otar said as he finally activated the shield much to our relief.
"Wooh we did it" I said calmly
Steven and Lapis came into the house afterwards
"What is it Connie!?" Steven yelled
"Did something happen?!" Lapis added
"Don't worry Steven, Lapis. It's okay" I said
"For now at least" Otar said
The two sighed and looked at the trouts that are still stuggling to get out on the other side.
"Waht is this?" Steven said, approaching the barrier which looked more like an aquarium. The fish blocked the view on the backgroud though
"Oh well let me introduce you to mindless trouts. Right now you see their migration.....
I looked on in curiosity 'So it's really them huh? Never read about this kind of massive migration'
"Uhm do they really migrate that much..." Jamie said
"These are perhaps different kind of trouts from those around here s odon't be surprised" Otar said
Lapis decided t ocheck on it as well. She stood back a little bit though.
She really has nothing against little fish, especially those adorable dolphins. But she doesn't like the ocean...it reminded her of some painful memories.
Jamie placed his hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her.
She smiled, helding out her fist "Back gems"
Jamie fist bumped her 'back gems"
The three of us were happily watching.
"Sorry if something is wrong but I'll deal with this soon. For now I guess enjoy the view while you can, it only happens once in 500 years-"
Otar was about to finish but stopped once we heard a loud tremble outside.
'An earthquake? That's not likely to happen here' I thoguht
Suddenly the house we were in was hti with such froce, it nearly turned around as we all were fell down.
'ALERT ALERT SIR THE HOUSE IS UNDER ATTACK'
"What? What just happened?!" Otar said, standing up slowly as he hit his head to the wall
"Okay what this time? Another space ship fell from space?" Jamie added
"If so then they really don't know how to fly it" I said pointing at the large hole the house gained
Lapis and Steven went out to see the damage, they were more than surprised to find a large chunk of water splashing down form created hole
"ouh well what can i do, tends to happen with colateral damage" Otar said
He sighes before looking around "ok ok now who's the jokster who pranked here?"
There was no answer, a straight up silence that held up for a few minutes
We were ready to give up and look for "jokster" later
But we were in for a surprisewhen a pair of giant water hands emerged from down the hill
Then the pari fo giant hands turned into a full on wave heading straight towards us
Steven was quick to raise his pink shield as quick as he could with Lapis flying up to tame the waters back down.
"Seems like the heard you!" I said to Otar who merely noded his head in response
Waves started backing down as Lapis slowly landed
"There's something wrong" Lapis said, feeling as though a familiar presence was nearby. And not a friendly one at that
"I've got a bad feeling about this" Jamie said
As soon as he said that, the waves seperated as it revealed a giant disfigured fusion, with four blurry colored arms and big thorns.
Despite all the extended figures it possessed, Lapis could easily recognise the fusion before her as could I and Steven.
Much to our horror, the unstable fusion before us was a fusion we fought against years ago, the same one that caused Lapis so much trouble with Jasper.
Malachite..... Although she looked more like a monster from a horror films, it was no doubt her.
And as the revelation passed down on us, we knew exactly that we were in grave danger.
"HA HA HA HA HA WELL WELL HELLO THERE UNIVERSE....AND YOU LAPIS"
Lapis didn't move, she didn't move an inch. She stood in her position motionless, scared and terrified as her nightmare becomes true
"Lapis!" Steven called out to her, trying to bring her to her senses
"DON'T WORRY .... I'M NOT HERE TO FUSE. BUT TO DESTROY YOU ALL"
