*Morning*
*Asami's pov*
I was walking down the hallways of the Air Temple Island, hoping that Korra was awake but, then again, it was 9 am, too early for her.
I walked into the dining room and I saw Pema there making breakfast
"Good morning Pema, can I help you somehow?" She almost dropped the plate she had in her hand when I spoke up
"Oh spirits Asami don't scare me like that" she laughed and looked at me "good morning to you too, and no I got this, I'm actually almost done" she smiled as I walked to the window and looked out.
"Are you here for Korra?"
"Yeah, how is she?"
"She reminds me of her 16-year-old self, you know, the hotheaded girl that wanted to learn air bending with force" well what have I expected? I mean, Korra's bending visibly became weaker since the accident and she lost a lot of muscle, but she was working on both past 2 months when she started walking properly again, she still struggles with running for a long time, but I'm working on more prototypes so that she will feel more comfortable with her leg, it has been hard on her, and her dark side was taking over her again but I promised myself to help her and take care of her, after all, I am her friend, I wouldn't forgive myself if the same thing that happened 5 years ago would happen again, and that I have a feelings for her won't make it better
I chuckled and looked my eyes scanned the outside, there was a clear view into the training area, and I could see some air benders and-... Korra?
"Uh... Pema? Since when is Korra getting up so early?" I looked at the shorter woman and she walked up to me
"Are you sure that's Korra?"
"If not then Korra has a secret twin, just look at her, she's training with the other air benders" I pointed at the girl of my dreams as we watched her and other air benders training.
"Wow that girl is full of surprises, go get her Asami" she chuckled and she went back to preparing breakfast
"Wait how do you-"
"You have it written across your whole face" she started laughing and I could feel my cheeks turn red, play dumb
"What?"
"Oh Asami there's this big text 'I'm gay for the Avatar Korra' written on your forehead" she kept laughing. It can't be that visible... can it?
"Okay okay, by the way, is Kya here?"
"She should be in her room, why? Are you okay"
"Yup everything is okay, I just need to ask her something"
"Alright then"
I sighed and walked out saying bye to Pema as I made my way to Kya's room.
When I got there I knocked on the door and opened them
"Hey Kya can I-" Holy shit-
I quickly closed the door and walked away, what have I just witnessed?........ I mean, I knew Kya and Lin were together but, damn who would think that Lin is a bottom- Nah that must have been just the moment, Lin is definitely top, or a switch?- Jesus Asami what the hell?
I quickly shook off the thoughts and walked outside to the training area.
I sat down on the bench and I watched the air benders playing some kind of game, there was this ball and they had to use air bending to toss it to someone else, they seemed like they are having fun, and it didn't take long for Jinora to notice me as she whispered something to Korra and Korra looked at me afterwards, she said something to Jinora back and made her way to me.
Come to me, pretty lady...
"Hey there 'Sami, how are you?" She smiled and sat down next to me
"Hey Korra, I'm fine, I thought I could stop by and say hi, how are you?" I smiled, Korra was wearing some shorts and a black top, she looked super hot in these
"I'm okay, getting back in shape, oh also, I wanted to thank you, this last prototype makes it all a lot easier to run" She pointed at her fake leg which was made from steel so it will be fireproof and metal benders won't destroy it, and I also made it waterproof
"It's no problem Korra" I smiled and she smiled back " I have a meeting in an hour or so, I should get going, but it was good to see you, you look great" She turned slightly red in the face it was so cute
"Y-yeah of course, you also look... snazzy as always" she is SOO adorable
I chuckled at the comment and got up
"Thank you Korra, have a nice day" I was about to walk away but then I realized something "oh and uh, don't go to Kya's room" I chuckled
"What? Why?"
"You don't wanna know, just don't go there" and with that, I left...

*later*
*Korra's pov*
It was now almost 11, I was sitting outside just thinking about stuff, what did Asami meant by "Don't go into Kya's room?" I mean it has been like 2 hours, could I go now? I sighed and stood up, I need some help from the expert.
I walked up to Kya's room and knocked on the door
"Uh Kya? Can I come in?" It was silent for a while but then I heard someone say
"Sure come in"
I opened the door and saw Lin and Kya sitting next to each other, and Kya sleeping on Lin's shoulder while holding her hand
"Avatar Korra" Lin smiled, well I guess it doesn't really matter which one will help me, they are both gay so...
"Chief Beifong, may I?" I pointed at a close chair and Lin just nodded so I sat down
"What brings you here Korra?"
"I um... I need a little help" This is harder than I thought
"What is it? Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm fine just... I um... How should I say this...."
"Korra, I am the chief of police and I heard conversations you'd never wanna hear, I know everything about everyone, well almost, so if you need help with something you don't have to be shy to ask, I would love to help you" she smiled which made my insecurities disappear
"Well um... there is this girl, she's like, really REALLY pretty, I think I have a small crush on her and um... I would like to invite her out but I don't know where and how to tell her"
Lin looked at me then she smirked and chuckled
"W-what?"
"It's Asami isn't it?"
"What is wrong with you guys how the hell does everyone know?!"
"Korra you two are like... super obvious" she kept chuckling and I found it super embarrassing
"How did you and Kya got together?"
"Oh you do not wanna know, let's just say we both had an argument with Tenzin and then we talked more and get to know each other, I won't go to details"
"Wow okay, but what should I do?"
"Invite her for a lunch, or get one for her because this is Asami we are talking about, she wouldn't leave her office" I smiled at the comment
"Yeah I could do that, and maybe invite her for a drink in the evening"
"If you wanna fuck her then sure" W-what
Me and Lin both looked at Kya as she started chuckling "You know, if she has a thing for you as well and you guys would get drunk, it could end up like us, right Linny?" She looked at me then at Lin and I could see Lin blushing
"S-shouldn't you be asleep?" she quickly asked
"Nope I heard everything you guys said, trust me Korra I'm sure Asami is gay for you as well"
I was about to ask something but Kya interrupted me
"No Korra just let things have their own flow, maybe take some nice suit"
"How did you- never mind, I will look for something, but did you really-"
"Yes, I meant every word, want to get Asami in bed? Go to the bar, works every time" she chuckled and then looked at Lin with a smirk as Lin just blushed more and covered her face with her hands
"But Tenzin won't let me"
"Then don't tell him, what's the big deal?"
"He says it's for my safety"
"You know what Korra? Me and Kya will be around to make sure you guys are safe, I will tell Tenzin I take personal responsibility for you and you guys will enjoy your night"
"I hate the fact everyone is acting like I am 15 again or something but fine, thank you, Lin I don't think Tenzin would let me go out without you, I owe you, thank you for the tips and everything" I smiled and got up and hugged them both
"No problem kid, just make sure Asami will be able to walk tomorrow," Lin said as she and Kya started laughing and I just turned red
"Okay, that's enough, I will probably invite her to Delirium around 9 pm so be there if you wanna guide me or whatever" I pulled back and walked to the door about to exit still red from previous conversation
"Sure see you there" and with that, I left.

*Later*
It was now around 1 pm, I got some noodles for me and Asami and made my way to Future Industries
"Hello I'm here to see Asami" I said as a girl which I suppose was her assistant looked at me
"Do you have a meeting with Miss Sato?"
"Well no"
"I'm sorry but I don't think I can let you see her then"
"What why? Can't you just ask her?" stupid that was really mean
She sighed, poor girl seemed really tired and I was harsh to her just because she was doing her job, she grabbed a microphone and pressed an orange button
"Miss Sato, Avatar Korra is here"
"Let her in" YES
"As you wish" she let go of the button "my apologies Avatar Korra"
"It's okay, I'm sorry for being so mean earlier, I know you are just doing your job" she just smiled and said
"It's the 16th floor, door at the end of the hall"
"Thank you" I smiled and walked to the elevator, I stepped in and pressed the button that had 16 written on it, later the elevator started moving and soon I was there.
I stepped out and made my way to Asami's office, I knocked on the door and heard
"Come in" in response
"Hey Asami, I got you lunch" I smiled as I walked in and placed it on the table in front of her, she had glasses on and was writing down something
"That's really nice of you Korra but I have to finish these" she looked at me and then back down on the paper, I grabbed it and put it on the other end of the room
"HEY! I was using that" Asami protested
"You need to eat Asami, let's have lunch together, I got your favourite" I opened the bag and placed the boxes in front of Asami and me, she just sighed in defeat and smiled
"Scar do I have any meetings soon?"
"No ma'am you don't have any today anymore"
"Well thank you, I don't wanna be disturbed please"
"Yes ma'am"
Asami let go of the button and opened the box of food.
We were both having a good time, laughing and making jokes, it was really nice, once we finished we spend some more time just talking
"Hey, Asami?"
"Hm?"
"I-I was wondering um..." Calm down you dumbass you're just inviting a goddess of all women for a drink, the most beautiful, perfect and-
"Are you okay? You are all red" She looked at me worriedly
"Um y-yeah I'm okay, I just um, I wanted to ask i-if you would um... maybe wanna go out later tonight?" I put my hand on the back of my neck and rubbed it
"Like a date?"
"I-if you wanna call it that" I looked on the ground scared of her reaction
"Sure I would love to, where and when?" she smiled and I sighed in relief
"How about I pick you up here around 8:40 pm?" I smiled and looked at her
"Hm... I guess I could afford to get out early today so why not"
"YES! THANK YOU!" I hugged her and kissed her cheek, then I jumped into the air and ran to the door "See you then Asami!" I waved at her happily and walked outside, only then I realized what've just done
I... I kissed her, It wasn't a real kiss but- oh god no what id she will find it weird and won't wanna go with me later? What if I just fucked it all up?!
I sighed and went to the elevator hoping that it will all work out.

So I just wanna let y'all know I haven't edited this chapter yet cuz I'm on a writing spree right now and I wanna write as many chapters as I can while I still have motivation.
I also wanted to get you guys a new chapter now and maybe there will be a new chapter in the evening as well but no promises.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and trust me, it's about to get really good, but that's all I'm gonna say.
