Nobody's POV

"Adrien!" Marinette said, looking annoyed at him.

"If you didn't want me to take the job, you could've said so! Did you really have to drop kick down the doors of your house and carry me away!?"

Adrien looked down at her.  Oh.  He was carrying her bridal style.  He felt himself blush

"s-sorry."

Marinette continued to give him a hard glare.  Adrien rubbed the back of his neck nervously as he felt her eyes on him.  This is the kind of attention he didn't like from her, but any attention from her was one that he craved.

Marinette sighed, looking at him concerned,  "Well are you going to tell me why you did that? I didn't even get a chance to do my interview."

Adrien opened and closed his mouth.  He didn't want to put his stress on her.  He wanted to keep what he was going through separate from her and a secret.

"I- uh... made...uhhhhhh reservation! Haha! Yeah a reservation! It's at one of those really fancy cafe's downtown and I was going to your house to surprise you when I got the call..."

Adrien didn't want to lie but it could 't hurt right.

Marinette slightly perked up a bit by his sweet gesture but she was still pissed off at him.  Adrien gave her a devilish smirk before swooping down and kissing her hand.

"Shall we Princess?"

Marinette hesitantly nodded before grabbing his hand and going with him.

Obviously Adrien didn't have a reservation but being Gabriel's son in Paris had to come with some perks right?

-Le Time Skip-

Just as Adrien had suspected they were seated immediately as soon as he entered.

Marinette felt weird to have all eyes on her, but that was probably because she was having lunch with Adrien Agreste.

Her back raised at the sound of camera clicking around her but Adrien reassured her with his kind eyes.

"They're just taking pictures because I'm with someone as beautiful as you~" he winked before grabbing two menus from a waiter.  Marinette blushed at the compliment before feasting her eyes on the pictures provided on the menu.

"Get whatever you want as a makeup gift for crashing your interview.  My father will probably give you another one since the only reason why didn't you make it to this one was because of my incompetence."

Adrien felt himself sweat.  Was Marinette a target now that his Father had found out he was Chat Noir? Also... How did his father know that two miraculouses merged together could create a wish? Could his father possibly be Haw-

His thoughts were cut off by the waiter coming back and letting them order.

-Le Time Skip (again because I'm a lazy author)-

Marinette was in a much better mood after eating and it may have also had to do with the fact that Adrien had been flirting with her all day.

They had gotten ice cream at Andre's and were walking around with a blackberry and peppermint ice cream.

Adrien gave her a spoon of the peppermint which she greatly excepted.  He laughed.  She was so adorable.

They held hands and continues to walk until they found themselves near the Arc de Triumph.  Once both stopped, the snuggled on the side of the monument, watching the cars go by.

They were almost certain everyone could see them, but they didn't seem to care.  The news that they were dating based on all the photos that were took of them were bound to confirm that they were dating to the public.  Both smiled at the thoughts in silence.

Adrien was about to say something when he saw Marinette get distracted.  She was looking at a patch of grass next to them.  Adrien didn't really see anything that was so specail about the plot of land until she swooped down and picked something out of the ground...

A dandelion.

Adrien felt the memories of Ladybug rejecting him flood back as she twirled it in her hands.

Marinette was focused on the weed for what ever reason, before blowing it out.

The dandelion cloud spread apart in all directions and was picked up by the wind, to float away. Adrien looked at her curiously.

Marinette smiled.

"I made a wish."

Adrien laughed at her innocence and sweetness.

"What did you wish for?"

Marinette hesitated.  She looked down and started playing with her hands.  Before looking back up to see Adrien.

Marinette had used the dandelion to wish for him.

Adrien took the hint pretty quickly and pulled her into a kiss.

The sun was setting and the colors were smearing across the sky as both broke away and continued their walk.

Adrien couldn't help but smile.

Marinette suddenly broke away from his hands to reach for something in her bag.  Adrien gave her a pout before Marinette pulled out a black sweater.  Adrien looked at her curiously before she sheepishly passed it to him.

It was a black sweater with mini green paw prints.  Adrien gaped.  His hands felt through the soft fabric.  It was perfect.  He immediately put it on.  It fit just right.

He smiled and showed her.  Marinette giggled still blushing.

"Thank you, Princess." He said before kissing her on the forehead again.

"And hey look:" Adrien then looked both ways to make sure no one would see what he was about to do before doing a catwalk down the sidewalk.

Marinette laughed and ran up to join him.  Clasping onto his arm again they continued to walk along the streets of Paris.

Everything was perfect for the two, but Marinette couldn't help but feel guilty of the secret she was keeping.

They kept walking until now if was Adrien's turn to stop as he picked a rose.

"For you, Princess." He grinned.

The rose was beautiful.  It was a deep red as the petals' tips on the edge turned into a deep maroon.

Marinette looked at it lovingly and pulled it close to her heart before smiling to herself.

"You know..." Adrien continued, "one rose isn't enough for a Princess..."

"Oh?"

"A thousand would be more fit."

 Marinette giggled.

"So your going to get me a thousand roses?"

"Well... nine hundred and ninety-eight roses actually... and a dandelion for extra luck." He teased.

She gave him a confused look before he explained.

"The one your holding right now counts for one, and the pink one I gave you before your dad got akumatized."

Marinette laughed at the memories.

"I still have the pink rose." She murmured.

Adrien stopped in his tracks and turned to her.

"Really?"

"Mhm," she said twirling her new found rose, "it's just a bit... well you know dead."

Both laughed for a short second before Marinette continued on...

"Actually, Adrien, It-it would be nine hundred ninety six roses and a dandelion for luck." She corrected him nervously.

"Oh?" Adrien said. "I-I don't think I remember giving you anymore roses..."

Plagg suddenly came out of Adrien's bag taking the hint.  Marinette was gonna do it.  Plagg was sure of it.

"Plagg hide!" Adrien said frantically, "someone might see you!"

Plagg waved it off and stayed out in the open before sticking his tongue out to Adrien.

Adrien rolled his eyes and said, "Marinette meet my kwami, Plagg.  The reason why I reek of Camembert all the time."

Plagg offered Marinette a toothy grin and Marinette returned the smile before continuing.

"Actually we've met before Adrien... that's what I wanted to tell you about.  Listen the poses. UH! I mean ROSES. Roses. I meant roses."

Adrien snapped his fingers, "That's right you were Multimouse! That's how you know Plagg my bad- you look pretty cute in the cost-"

"ADRIEN." Marinette said a little too loudly taking him by surprise.

"Y-your not listening." She said quietly.

Plagg felt himself begin to shake looking at the two of them.  He didn't know how Adrien would take the news.

"The roses... it would be 996 roses instead of 998... because you-you gave me two others..." she trailed off.

Adrien continued to listen, concerned from her previous outburst.

"It-it's true I got one from you right now, and when you had brunch with us before my dad got akumatized... but... that's two..."

Plagg felt his breath go into the back of his throat for her next words.  Adrien looked at both Plagg and Marinette concerned.  Marinette had began to cry as she continued.

"An-another rose was yellow.  W-which I also had before our trip t-to New York..." she continued her breath becoming quicker.

'What yellow rose? Before New York? We weren't even dating then? The only yellow rose I gave was to-'

Adrien felt himself freeze.  Marinette realizing he was catching on, continued.

"The last time, or first time I should say you gave me a rose...w-was after Glaciator attacked.  It was red, and" Marinette felt herself sobbing now, "you told me it...it went with my-"

"Suit."

Adrien finished the sentence before looking at her.

"M'Lady?"
