Love Maze

•C H A P T E R 19•

I couldn't sleep last night. Not even for a few minutes. All night I kept trying to figure out in my head what to. If they're both my soulmates, how is it even possible to choose one? I also kept thinking about how Jimin stormed off last night. Why would he be so mad at me for this? It's not like I wanted this to happen either.

Maybe I should try and close my eyes for a bit. As I close my eyes, it's like I fall asleep instantly. Sure, there may be light already coming through the windows, but it's never too late for sleep.

*Later*

I wake up and immediately check the time. 4pm?? What time did I end up falling asleep? I know it was morning when I did, but damn I slept the whole day away.

I stand up and hold my head feeling a pounding ache above the bridge of my nose. Probably sinuses or something.

I walk downstairs and go to the kitchen to get some sinus pills. That's when I notice the mail on our table. Leo or Mara must have brought it in while I was sleeping.

After taking my pills, I look through the mail. Most of it is house bills. Wow, the water bill, the electricity, all of it is so much! I don't have enough for all of this. There's only one solution and I really don't want to do it.

Looking through my contacts, I find an old friend that could help me out.

I call him hoping he will pick up. As if on time, he answered the call.

"Y/N? How's it going old neighbor?"

I sigh. "Ah it's going," I say laughing it off. "So, I actually called because I need to sell a house, but I have no idea how to do it and I thought to call you because you would know how."

"Ah, you guys are finally moving out of that place. It's about time. That town is the worst hahah!" He laughs a little and I fake a laugh along. "Why do you need my help? Don't your parents know how to sell a house?"

Oh right, he doesn't know. "Um, Kyle they actually passed away not too long ago so."

"Ahh, that's too bad. Sorry for your loss. They were the nicest old people I have ever met."

Now I regret ever calling him.

"Can you please help? I know nothing about this."

"Just chillax, lil lady. I got it covered. You don't have to do a thing."

I get a little concerned, but at least he'll do it for me. "Thanks, Kyle. I appreciate it. Just make sure to update me on it, okay?"

"Will do, boss ma'am."

Ugh, I question this guy sometimes. I hang up the phone and go upstairs to break the news to Mara and Leo.

When I knock on Mara's door, no one answers. Maybe she's in Leo's room? I knock on Leo's door and still no answer. They must have went out or something.

I check my phone for any texts and I see there's one from Hyunjin.

Hyunjin: I took Mara to eat at Olive Garden and Leo wanted to come too, so just to let you know. I would have woken you up, but I know you went to bed really late, so I let you sleep. I'll bring some spaghetti and breadsticks back for you :)

I sigh and smile at my phone. I can't thank the Lord enough for him. Then I think about Jimin. He still hasn't tried to call or text me after last night. I really don't want him to be mad at me, but I shake the thought away and text Hyunjin back.

Y/N: Thanks Hyunjin, I appreciate you a lot :) When you guys come back I have some news and I hope Mara and Leo don't take it as a bad thing.

About 10 minutes later, they come back with boxes of leftover food from Olive Garden. Hyunjin hands me my food and smiles.

"I got you what you used to always get. And, I made sure to get extra breadsticks because I know how much you love their breadsticks."

My heart flutters in my chest. Is this what it's like to be married? If so, I'm ready.

"Thanks, love." I hug him and take my food to eat on the couch.

"Ah, you're calling me the nicknames now, huh?" he says smirking and sitting down next to me.

My eyes go wide. Did I say that out loud? "I thought I said your name."

"Hmm, unless my name is 'Love' then I don't think so."

I look at him and he smiles then takes a breadstick.

"Hey! I was gonna eat that."

He laughs as he eats my breadstick. "Hey, I payed for it."

I roll my eyes and try to hide the fact that my cheeks have gone pink. Leo and Mara sit down across from us and look at me with curiosity.

"So, what's the tea?" Mara asks interested.

"Oh yeah!" I set my food down on the table so I can speak. "So, I was checking the bills for the house today, and it's way too much. I don't have to the money to pay it. So I came to the conclusion that it would only make sense for you two to move into me and Em's apartment."

Their eyes go wide. "That's like four hours away though! Where would I go to school? All my friends are here!" Mara starts crying and Leo hugs her.

"I get it and it's okay. We may have a lot of memories here with mom and dad, but it'll impossible to stay here. You just started college, who would have the money to pay for a big house like this at your age anyways?"

My eyes start tearing up, but I smile. "Thanks for understanding, Leo." I look at Mara who's crying died down a little. "I hope you understand too, Mars. You can still keep in contact with your friends here and you can make new ones where your new school will be! I promise you, people there are nice and you'll have no problem making friends."

She wipes a tear from her cheek. "You're right. I have a phone so I can call them anytime I want."

"That's right! It'll be better than what you expect, I promise."

She nods and even shows a little smile. Hopefully the move won't be too hard.

That's when we hear a knock on the door. I get up and open it to reveal Jimin. What's he doing here?
