~𝑺𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎~

After a long 3 weeks of school at Eden Hall, it was finally winter break. All of us students & staff were off for 2 weeks, so we had plenty of time to have fun & relax.

It was an early Sunday morning & I decided to sleep in, because why not.

As I was sleeping peacefully in my room at my home, I woke up to someone that jumped on my bed to wake me up. I groaned & turned around to see my boyfriend Dwayne smiling at me.

"Good mornin darlin", he said as he kissed my forehead.

"Good morning my cowboy. What are you doing here?", I said as I pecked his lips.

"Get up you sleepyhead."

"But why baby", I said drowsy.

"Cause darlin, we're gonna have a snow day with the ducks at the park"

"Right nowwww, but can I at least sleep for another hourrrr", I said whining.

"No darlin, you have to get up", he chuckled.

"No, wake me up in an hour", I said as I turned around & closed my eyes.

Dwayne then tickled me & picked me up out of bed, carrying me on his shoulder.

"Babyyy, put me downnnn", I said as I laughed & started kicking.

"Alright alright honey, but cmon, the teams waiting for us.", he said as he laughed & put me down.

"Okayyyy, let me get ready. I'll be out in a few minutes."

I grabbed my clothes & went to the bathroom to change while Dwayne waited on my bed.

I put on a white v-neck sweater with some black tights & light brown uggs. I straightened my hair & put it in a ponytail.

I walked into my room & Dwayne stared at me in awe with his mouth open.

I walked towards him & he got up from my bed & held me by my waist.

"Babygirl, you look so beautiful. Like dang, you're such an angel.", he said as he ran his fingers through the front pieces of my hair & smiling.

"Aww I love you Dwayne", I blushed.

"I love you too Y/N", he said as he leaned in & kissed me.

"We better go before the Ducks wonder where the heck we are", I giggled.

"Yeah, let's go darlin.", Dwayne said as he grabbed my hand & led me out of my room.

As we ran downstairs, my mom had stopped us.

"Hi sweetie, good morning.", my mom said as she hugged me.

"Hi again Dwayne", my mom said as she hugged Dwayne also.

"Howdy Ms. Y/L/N", he said enthusiastically.

"Where are y'all two headed this morning?"

"We're gonna have a snow day with the Ducks today"

"Oh ok. Well I don't want y'all to keep them waiting. Have fun y'all two!"

"Ok mom, we will. Bye!", I said as me & Dwayne went out the door.

After walking a few miles from my apartment, we met up with the Ducks at the park.

"Y/N, Dwayne, what took y'all so long!?", Connie said as she hugged both of us.

"Someone didn't wanna get out of bed", Dwayne chuckled.

"Not my fault that I love to sleep in", I giggled & rolled my eyes.

After a while of talking, we split up into two teams. The 1st team leader was Charlie & the other team leader was Portman. I was on Charlie's team along with Adam, Dwayne, Connie, Julie, & Averman. On Portman's team was Luis, Fulton, Russ, Ken, & Goldberg.

As Charlie was explaining the rules to us in a huddle. Portman then yelled "let this war beginnnn!" He threw a snowball & we all ducked behind our snow fort.

"Oh it's on Portman!", Charlie yelled as he threw a snowball back. All of us then started throwing snowballs at each other.

I rolled up a bunch of snowballs & tried to throw one at Goldberg. I ended up missing two times.

"Ha, take that Y/N!", Goldberg yelled.
Using all my strength, I threw a snowball & hit Goldberg right in the face, causing him to plop backwards.

"Third times a charm", I laughed.

Ken then tried to hit me, but I ducked just in time. I ran behind Dwayne for him to protect me. Connie had hit Luis on his back, Julie hit Fulton on the shoulder, & Charlie hit Ken in the face. Russ then snuck up behind Averman & hit him. Our team spread out & hid in different places.

Portman by himself then ended up striking everyone one of our teammates out except for me. It was up to me to try & win.

As Portman was slowly walking around to find me. I hid behind the tree & slowly walked out in the open. I then ran as fast as I could & jumped Portman to the ground. I threw a snowball at the back of his head.

"Scoreeee! Take that you doofus!", I cheered & laughed.

Everyone saw me & was in shock of what I did.

"I- I can't believe I got beat by a girl!", Portman looked at me.

"Tough luck big boy", I smirked & laughed.

The whole team ran up to me cheering for me & picked me up in the air. We then went to go eat at Mickey's Diner for lunch. We talked & laughed the whole time there.

...

After about an hour, we all headed home to relax. Dwayne came back home with me & we watched The Santa Claus movies in the living room on the couch. I sat with my feet up & he wrapped his arms around my waist with his chin on my head.

After a while into the movie, I asked Dwayne if he wanted some hot cocoa. He said yes & I got up & went to the kitchen.

After a few minutes, I grabbed our hot cocoa & bumped into Dwayne at the doorframe of the living room.

"Oh babe, what are you doing?", I said as I handed him his hot cocoa.

"Nothin darlin, I just wanted to see if you needed any help."

"Oh no baby, I'm fine. Thank you", I giggled.

Me & him then looked up at the doorframe & saw a mistletoe above us.

We put our hot cocoa on the table & we looked at each other. He put his hand on my cheek & slowly placed his lips onto mine. I put my hands on the back of his neck while he placed his hands around my waist. I loved him so much that I never wanted to let him go. After a few minutes, we broke the kiss & hugged each other.

"I love you Dwayne"

"I love you too my beautiful darlin"

We then went back to the living room & spent most of the snow day watching Christmas movies, drinking hot cocoa, & eating cookies.
