I sat up and looked at Tereina and saw she had a small piece of her blob form next to my ear to translate. She looked upset and I got off the table beside her, putting my arms around her.

"It's okay, T..."

"He hates me..."

"Good riddance." I whispered to her. "You don't need him."

The Queen moved the King to argue with him and Tereina rippled in excitement.

"Mother is using the argument as a distraction for Father. Go... Find Captain Shil and help your family."

"T..."

"Maybe I'll get to meet Max Taylor soon, but I won't if you don't hurry now. Don't worry about me, erna, I'll be fine. If nothing else, at least I function as he wants me to."

"Thank you."

I breathed in and ran as fast as possible past the two of them, running to the labs as fast as I could.

*****************************

I ran through the hallways and finally made it to the lab. I ran through the door and pressed the button to make it close quickly. I sighed and turned, Zylith looking up at me from a cylinder that was holding one of the King's children. She lifted an eyebrow behind her goggles.

"Prince."

"I need a ship."

"Why are you asking me?"

"You're the captain!"

"No, I'm a captain. It's a rank. I'm busy at the moment."

"Uncle Mars is dying!" She looked up. "He got impregnated and something happened-"

"What?!" she yelled. "I thought I told them-"

"It was nothing anyone planned. It was A972. That fight they had... it was in one of the syringes..."

"OH SHIT!!!" she yelled, almost dropping the baby.

She caught it and placed it gently on the table.

"Oh my god, I forgot all about that... We had had them lined up earlier when we were doing the things for Dawaen and Kole... Oh shit..."

"The guards are coming after me, Zyl; what do we do? I need to go and help my family."

"Meet me in thirty minutes at the cargo bay. I'll get us a ship to get back to Earth. In the meantime, go to your Dream Room and see if you can communicate with Mars or someone to let them know we're on the way! Hurry! Go!"

I nodded quickly and ran to the Dream Room. Even though the Dream Room is an effective way to communicate with Dad or Uncle Mars, it's kind of a pain. It was smoother and easier if I descended into a deep slumber and communicated that way. But that was few and far between, so the Dream Room was easier to make it happen... but it was also compromise-able. Anyone could slip in while you're sleeping and insert something in there to cause an issue...

I locked the door with a code and sat in the big plushie thing that encompassed you, enabling a swift, calm mentality. Considering the fact that I was too upset to really go to sleep, the Dream Room was about all I had. Uncle Mars was dying and my dad wasn't too far behind with that blood thing. I'm a nuisance... I've cause so many problems and ruined so many lives...

I laid back and tried to figure out what I was going to do... Suddenly, I heard crying and looked over. I saw a shadow figure sobbing in the corner.

"Hello?"

The figure gasped and 'looked' up. "Who's there?"

"My name is Kasai... who are you?"

"I don't have a name yet... or a body... My host is dying... I did it all wrong!"
