You and Emily helped place everything on Spencer's coffee table in front of his couch. Spencer emerged from his kitchen holding the two mugs, handing one to Emily. Spencer grabbed a coaster and you slid one to Emily, remembering how angry Spencer got when you accidentally left a ring on his coffee table.

"I didn't know you had coasters!" You exclaimed.
"They were on the counter! Plus it's proper etiquette if you don't see a coaster to ask for one." Spencer remarked back.
"Oh, is it now?" You couldn't hold in the chuckle that threatened to escape as you watched Spencer chaotically try to wipe the ring off of his wood coffee table.
"Spencer, it's never coming out." You spoke, a hint of a giggle you couldn't hold back emerging.
"You think this is funny?" Spencer's voice raised as he frantically wiped the sponge over the coffee table over and over again.
"Spencer, stop, stop–" You could see how agitated he'd become, and you put a hand over his to calm down his incessant scrubbing.
"Stop." You sternly expressed. Your hand held his in place as he looked up at you, your faces inches apart.
In a more sincere tone of voice you stated,"I'm sorry, Spencer. I didn't know it was going to be such a big deal and I didn't think about it. I'm sorry."
Spencer sighed, dropping his head and crouching to meet your level from his side of the small table. "No, I'm sorry. I don't know why I got so freaked out."
You'd taken notice to the bags under Spencer's eyes, and how his dark circles had gotten so dark he looked like a raccoon. He wasn't sleeping. No wonder he had such a short fuse.
"Spencer..." you began, but you were immediately cut off by Spencer's phone ringing. It was Hotch letting the two of you know we had a case.
And just like that the conversation ended.

After setting everything down, Morgan pulled up the two chairs that sat across from each other, sandwiching a chess board, to face the coffee table across from the couch. Emily sat on the arm of the couch while Spencer sat in the middle, you nestling into the corner of the opposite arm, pulling your knees close to you.
"Start with mine!" Penelope pushed her gift toward Spencer as he leaned forward on the couch. He smiled as he repeatedly pulled out the heaps of tissue paper, revealing three figurines, all Doctor Who related.
Spencer gasped as he pulled out a Tardis figurine, a Fourth Doctor figurine and– "No way! How did you get a Rusty the Good Dalek Eaglemoss figurine! I thought these were sold out everywhere!"
"I have my ways." Garcia said sheepishly.
"Yeah, don't forget she's the tech wizard, Spence." Emily chimed in.
Spencer gave Garcia a very smiley "thank you", the both of them leaning over the table to give each other a hug. "Okay, mine now!" Emily exclaimed pushing her gift forward with her foot.
Spencer's grin stayed plastered to his face as he unwrapped the bigger box to reveal the newest Keurig. "The K-Cups you already have work on this one too, so don't worry. Also, I feel bad because you just made coffee." Everyone giggled as Emily awkwardly grimaced.
Spencer opened Morgan's next which was the fanciest bourbon set you or Spencer had ever seen. It was a polished wooden box with a hidden layer beneath the top layer. Spencer's eyes beamed as he undid the metal latch that held the top down, revealing two sparkling crystal whiskey glasses accompanied by an extravagant corkscrew.
