My fault (Lumity)

Part 8

(A/N: i am so sorry i haven't updated since September, I've been busy and i didn't have any ideas until recently.)

Luz's POV

How did they find out. I didn't want them to. Eda would hate me for sure along with Amity. I sighed. didn't want to lie to them, but I don't want them to know the truth. Then all of a sudden, I just blurted it out. "I was Born with them." I covered my mouth everyone looking so shocked. Why did I say that. I looked at Amity. "why did you keep it from us?" she asked I looked down. "I don't want you guys to hate me." Eda snorted, "Kid the only reason I would hate you is if you turned me in or is Emperor Belos's Kid, so you don't have to worry." I tensed up at the name she said, 'Emperor Belos'. "R...Right." I looked over at Amity, I knew she could something was off with my response. "I'm going for a short walk I need to clear my head." I said getting up and walking out of the house quickly before anyone could ask or stop me.

Amity's POV

After Luz left the house, I looked at Eda. "follow her." She said to which I nodded and waited a little before going outside to follow, but when I got outside there was no trace of her. I just walked into the woods hoping to find her.

After about an hour of walking I heard quite sobs from someone. I walked closer to the sound stopping behind a tree. "I can't stay here. He knows I'm here now. They will hate me. I can't let dad find them." the voice said through sobs. "it will be my fault she gets caught, if I don't leave." I heard a painful sob from the person, "I have to leave them, even if it hurts me...or her." I don't know why but that sentence gave me a pain in my heart. I look to see who it was.

It was Luz. She was talking about her dad? I thought she said her dad died, unless. I heard some approach her. "oh? What's this? The poor 'human' girl sad in the woods? What a surprise." The witches voice sounded familiar and like she knew that Luz wasn't a human. "why not come home? I'm sure Emperor Belos will be happy to see his daughter again." I covered my mouth. Her dad was Emperor Belos? That's how she was born with the runes, and why she thought we would hate her.

"No, I'm not going back to him, he left me and mom alone, he left me alone." I hard the pain in Luz's voice. She was hurt, I could feel it. "Luz, you will go home to your father, he knows you are here. And it is not because I told him about the "human that is living with my sister."

I peeked over looking at the too. Lilith? She tapped where Luz's runes where making Luz wince from pain. "your father can heal you and help you achieve great power. You, me and your father can capture the Owl lady together." Lilith said not caring she hurt Luz. I stepped back breaking a stick which caused the two to look in my direction. I bolted towards the owl house to tell the others what I saw.

Once I got back to them Owl house, I slammed the door open out of breath. Everyone turned to look at me. "where is Luz?" Eda asked me. I held my hand up to her telling her to let me catch my breath. Edric walked over to me. "she didn't hurt you right?" I shook my head, "what. No why would she hurt me?" Ed shrugged and walked back over to the couch sitting down. I took a deep breath and began to explain what happened

Eda looked hurt, but then it turned to anger and before we knew it, she was outside all of us following behind her. "Kid lead the way." I nodded and led the way to where Lilith and Luz where.

Luz's POV

The whole time me and Lilith where talking I knew Amity was listening to us. When I heard a stick brake, I looked over only to see her green hair disappear into the woods. Lilith looked over as well but ignored it looking back to me. "you and your father will be the most powerful, father daughter duo to have ever lived." She said walking closer to me.

I stepped back. "no, I am not going back to him, if he wanted me to be around, he would not have left me and mom." I started to get angry. "But Luz, dear, he wants you now, that has to count. You two can capture my sister and heal her curse." She said that like she knew what she was doing. I shook my head. "no, I'm not hurting Eda, I will not betray her." I said tears pricking the corner of my eyes. "you wont be hurting her, you'll heal her." I laughed. "you are oblivious, He doesn't heal people. He hurts them. Leaves them." I was getting extremely angry at Lilith.

She thought that my father would help her sister. She was so wrong. Next thing I knew me and her were having a witches duel. I was losing (hehe Luzing...wow school has got me messed up). I started to panic when she sent fire my way. I couldn't think of anything to do so I let it hit me. I fell to the ground clutching my stomach yelling in pain. "you really can't use magic the proper way huh?" Lilith walked over to me crouching down to my level. "how are you the Emperors daughter? why would Eda take such a weakling in? Why would anyone want to be with you?" I don't know why she was saying all this, but it made my heart feel like it was on fire. "Why would Amity even be friends with you? Oh, I wonder what would happen if she found out about this. Oh boy would she hate you." I glared at her not saying anything. "maybe I could put her through more training that would push her too far and hurt her. Or I could hurt you friends." That made me snap. I got up and tackled her.

"Don't you ever hurt my friends, don't touch, Willow or Gus or Amity." I snapped to the point I had ended up drawing a circle in the air shooting fire at her. It was black fire. It surprised me but I didn't stop. "Don't hurt Eda, or the Blight twins, or Viney, Jerbo and Barkus." I drew another circle putting her in binders that was tight. "You may say and do whatever you want to me, but if you ever think about hurting my friends, I will end you. understand?" I could tell Lilith got scared by what I did.

She didn't reply to me, so I tightened the binders a little. "yes, yes I understand." I got rid of the binders glaring at her. "but you might have forgotten something, you aren't as powerful as me." She said drawing a circle making a bird appear coming after me. I panicked and rolled up my sleeve. "say hi to my father to me." I did the same thing I did to Roxy. After I did that, I fell to the floor screaming out in pain. It hurt more than last time.

Amitys POV

Me and the others watched everything Luz and Lilith did. It left us all in shock. We saw what she did to Lilith. When we heard Luz scream, we all ran over to her. I hugged her instantly just holding her there. It hurt me seeing her like this. Hurt and in pain. "shh it's ok." I sighed moving some of her hair out of her face. Eda walked over to us. "oh Luz, why didn't you tell me? I could have helped you with this." Eda said with a sigh looking at where Lilith once stood. "Something happened to Lilly." Edric tilted his head, "what do you mean?" Eda went over to where Lilith once stood, "Lilly would never say something like that, she would never threaten someone like that."

"why don't we find out?" I said holding Luz. "we can sneak in and look around." Eda looked at me with a smile. "we don't need to sneak in, I just need to get caught." Eda said clapping her hands together. "to the Owl House!" se said and started to walk back with the rest of us following her.
