Hyunjin avoided touching that spot as he sighed frustratedly and buried his face in his hand, trying to calm down.

This was fine, he's not too badly injured. He's lucky they didn't shoot him in the leg or something. As long as he could run, it's fine.

Really trying to listen to his not-so-convincing thoughts, the alpha opted on looking up and around instead, still feeling a bit numb in his limbs. He refused to let that thought evolve into more than that, not wanting to realize that he might not be able to run after all.

To his surprise, the room he was currently trapped in wasn't a dirty cell at all. In fact, it looked very much like a bedroom renovated to make one feel at home if it wasn't for the situation he was in right now.

Consisting of four, large white walls and a ceiling with some kind of soft looking color, it stretched out into a light and airy area. A few blurred pictures - no faces - were hung up on the walls and he found himself staring right at some kind of landscape, sunflowers almost growing outside of the painting.

The bed was unnecessarily large, like one of those queen sized beds that all the rich people somehow bought up like nothing. ( At least he knows where their money comes from, but if he was honest, it's rather surprising. )

His sheets were black and white mixed into skin kind of lighter gray, Hyunjin shamelessly admitting that they were so soft and cozy.

No. No, he could not lose focus, not right now.

Fighting off the urge to go back to sleep, the alpha straightened his back and continued to roam with his eyes around the room.

There must be something he could use to escape, at least anything that will give him an idea.

Hyunjin was disappointed when he couldn't see any sharp or helpful object at all. Of course they wouldn't let him into a room full with things he could use to his advantage.

They weren't exactly stupid.

Sighing, he looked over all of the furniture and pursed his lips into a thin line.

There were armchairs and a sofa in one corner, all of them in a lighter hue of brown together with a larger table and a TV. At first he had thought it was reckless for them to just leave an electronic device in front of him like that, but then he had realized that they must've disconnected it in some way. Hyunjin dared to slip out of bed, trying to stand up on his shaky legs as he carefully tiptoed over to the blank screen.

And he was indeed right, the cables behind the TV was missing. He should've known, there was absolutely no way they would take a risk like that.

The raven felt his eyes tear up in frustration, slowly sinking down on the carpet covered floor. He pushed his fingers through his hair, rubbing his head in a desperate attempt to get an idea, anything to get out of here.

At least there were bookshelves, he thought to himself with sarcasm, the books and plants somehow succeeding to light up a room he didn't even want. As for now he was grateful for the lamps, none of them having that sharp and uncomfortable glow as those in that old room he had been taken to first.

To count on top of that, there were also two big windows that let in almost all of the light in the room. Not only were they large, but also wide enough for someone to put cushions there to what he suspected was for sitting and looking out during the day.
