Calypso stumbled back, still gripping her lightsaber. She regained her balance again and braced herself for another attack. She saw the gold togruta charge at her again as they continued to spar. Calypso parried each attack and landed a kick to her friend's feet, knocking her over,

"Ow! Caly!?"

"I'm so sorry Sachi," Calypso quickly rushed to help her friend up.

"That wasn't fair." Sachi complained, rubbing her head. Calypso was already much taller than Sachi and it was easy for her to forget how easily she could overpower her,

"You're not hurt are you?" Calypso questioned nervously,

"No, I'm fine. But I want a rematch!" Sachi immediately activated her green lightsaber and Calypso pulled out her pink one. Sachi charged first, using her agility to her advantage to dodge Calypso's swings. They were both evenly matched but their duel came to a halt when Blin Maldar entered the training room,

"Calypso!" She immediately stiffened. Blin was her master, he was strict and quite harsh on her. Sachi turned to look at Blin. There was a suspicious look in her eyes. Calypso knew Sachi didn't like Blin and had stood against him many times, most of which were on Calypso's behalf.

"Yes, Master?" Calypso asked, her voice falling to an even tone.

"What are you doing here?"

"I was training with Sachi-"

"Have you done all of your chores?"

"I have, Master." A hint of pride entered her voice as she spoke those words. She finally got to one-up her master.

"There's always more to be done, Calypso. Go help in the library." And with that, the yellow twi'lek turned to leave the room,

"Hold up!" Sachi yelled, "You can't just do that!" Blin stopped and slowly looked around at Sachi, annoyance glittering in his eyes. Sachi often acted on impulse, which got her in so much trouble,

"Oh? I can't?"

"No! I was doing something with her!" Sachi marched up to Blin,

"I don't have time for your petty arguments. My word stays the same." And with that, he left. Sachi was still fuming,

"Who does he think he is, bossing you around like that!?"

"He is my master." Calypso folded her arms. Sachi just gave her an annoyed look,

"I thought you Chiss were supposed to be more mature?"

"Well, I am-"

"Then why don't you act like it? Stand up for yourself for once! Be more like me!" Sachi was the opposite of mature in Calypso's mind, but she did have a point,

"How about this, you show me how to stand up for myself, and I'll help you be... more sensible?"

"Of course I'll help you!" Sachi agreed enthusiastically. Calypso wondered if she even heard what she said but went along with it anyway. They parted ways when Sachi's master called her and with a sigh, Calypso walked to the library.

She pondered what her masters had told her as she helped put away holocrons. She was always told never to follow hate, but sometimes she couldn't help but feel angry at her master. He was never nice but never cruel either. But she got the feeling that he didn't like her too much. But why? She caught her reflection. Her blue skin and glowing red eyes were generally off-putting, but almost everybody in the Jedi Temple could look past it. Or they at least act like it. But was it because she looked different? But then again, Blin doesn't like Sachi either, maybe he's just not a people-person?

Calypso put away the last holocron and went back to her room. She was roommates with Sachi which basically forced them to be friends, which Calypso was very thankful for.

"Calypso!" Sachi burst through the doors making Calypso jump but she just looked up at Sachi, "I'm here to help!" She exclaimed

"Help with what exactly?" Calypso watched as Sachi marched proudly up to her,

"Help with you! Obviously," Calypso decided not to take that remark personally,

"And by that you mean?"

"I'm going to teach you how to stand up for yourself! How could you forget?" Sachi gave her an unbelieving stare,

"Wait, right now?"

"Is there a better time? Don't answer that. Now, who is somebody who is mean to you?" Calypso was caught off guard by the sudden lesson and fumbled for words,

"I-uh, Blin?"

"Now, I'll pretend to be Blin and all you have to do is be confident and proud, just start by saying no." Sachi stood up, took a deep breath, and lowered her voice,

"Calypso, I know you've done your work but I need you to stop and go and work again." There was a brief silence while Calypso rushed to comprehend the sudden events,

"No?" She replied hesitantly. Sachi beckoned for her to speak louder, "No." Calypso said firmly, though, her voice was still a little shaky.

"Nice job, Caly!" Sachi high-fived her and Calypso broke into a relieved smile, "Now, I want you to always talk to me in a confidant tone, and don't constantly say sorry." She ordered. Calypso was taken aback by her demanding tone. They continued to practice and rehearse lines for situations until it was time for dinner.

"Thanks for helping with that Sachi." Calypso said as they opened the door to leave,

"It's been a problem for forever! I had to step in eventually because I may not always be there to stick up for you." Sachi replied with a distant look in her eyes,

"Sachi?" Calypso asked, her brows furrowing in concern. Sachi seemed to snap out of it and her happy-go-lucky smile returned to her face,

"C'mon, we can't miss food!" And with that, she dashed out of the room and into the hall. Calypso decided to put that out of her mind for now and focus on what was ahead.
