{A Visit To Snezhnaya}

Merry Christmas late guys :D Please enjoy this wholesome oneshot where Childe invites Zhongli and Aether (the babysitter lol) to Snezhnaya.

'Zhongli-Sensei!' Childe exclaimed as he saw Zhongli walked by,

'Hm?Childe? What's wrong?' Zhongli stopped at his tracks and looked at Childe,

'I'm going to go back to Snezhnaya to visit my family again, you wanna go with me? Traveller is coming too!' Childe said,

'Hmm... Sure, I don't have much to do anyways..' Zhongli replied,

'Great! I'm glad to hear that' Childe says as he rushes to give Zhongli a hug, Childe could smell the silk flower perfume as he hugged Zhongli, he thought: Hehe..He uses Silk Flower Perfume, how cute~ Wait- What am I thinking?! I'm not gay! Ugh, snap out of it, Tartaglia!

Childe let go of the hug, feeling embarrassed, 'So, uh, we're going to head out next week, and make sure to bring something more suitable! Snezhnaya is gonna be more snowy this time of the year!' he suggested Zhongli,

The next morning, Childe and traveller were waiting for Zhongli at the docks. About a few minutes later, Zhongli made it.

'Good morning, Zhongli!' Aether and Paimon said at the same time,

'Hey Sensei! Are you feeling good today?' Childe asked,

'I'm fine.' Zhongli answered,

'Ok then, anyway the cruise is here, let's board on.' Childe said,

'Childe...did you really have to book a cruise for only 4 people?' Aether asked,

'Paimon doesn't mind, the more luxurious, the better~!' Paimon said,

Aether face palmed before boarding on the ship with the others on the cruise.

To get to Snezhnaya, they will have to stay on the ship overnight. After a boring day of doing nothing productive, it was finally night time. Zhongli went outside after eating dinner. Childe followed him outside to find Zhongli sitting on a bench and looking at the sky.

'Mind if I join you?' Childe asked,

'I don't mind, you can join.' Zhongli answered,

Childe took a seat beside Zhongli and looked at the sky. Then suddenly, Zhongli's head landed on Childe's shoulder, making Childe flinch. Childe looked down at Zhongli, who was sleeping on Childe's shoulder. He blushed, Dang it, he's too cute...ugh Zhongli sensei, why do you have to do this to me~ he thought.

Just then, Childe had an idea and thought this was his chance. He used his hands to cup Zhongli's face gently, and moved his face closer till he felt Zhongli's breath, (I'm writing this during online class with my camera on please help) their lips almost touched when..

'Hey Childe and Zhongli, it's getting late, we're going to sleep now- Oh.... um are we interrupting something?' Aether said,

'Hm?' Zhongli woke up, only to see Childe's face, and immediately backed up in a panic,

'No, you're not interrupting anything, I think Zhongli is feeling sleepy too, so we're going to sleep too.' Childe said..a little awkwardly,

The four went into two separate rooms, Paimon and Aether shared one, and Zhongli and Childe's shared one.

The Next Day, they finally reached Snezhnaya. The four got off the ship and Childe proceeded to lead them to his home.

'Big brother!' Childe's little brother, Teucer exclaimed excitedly, catching the other two siblings--Anthon and Tonia's attention. The three kids ran towards their dear older brother to hug him.

'How are my little siblings? How have you been doing when I was gone? Did you do anything bad?' Childe asked with a happy tone,

'We missed you! And of course we wouldn't do anything bad!' Tonia said back,

'Big brother! Who are they?' Anthon asked,

'This is my uhh... Friend... Say high to Mr.Zhongli! And this is-'

'Oh! Oh! I know! It's Mr.Nice guy and Paimon!' Teucer said excitedly,

'Hi Teucer! And Childe's other siblings!' Paimon said,

Everyone introduced to each other and went out to get lunch. Not too soon, it was 3:30p.m.

'Big brother, can we play in the snow with Mr.Nice guy?' Anthon asked,

'Sure! Mr.Zhongli and I will stay here though, just to chat a bit.' Childe replied,

'Are we seriously babysitting again? Childe...' Aether glared at Childe,

'Haha, come on now, you wouldn't want to upset them right? They really like you!' Childe laughed,

'Pleaaase Mr, I wanna play in the snow with you...' Tonia whined,

'Fine...I guess, just don't get too carried away!' Aether gave a smug look, Paimon got the message and smirked too,

'A-Aether! They're still young!' Childe's face flushed with red, Zhongli stayed silent but was looking away, blushing.

'We will be taking our leave now! Hehe~' Paimon grinned, and they all left.

'Sorry about the traveller, want some tea? I can make some! ' Childe asked,

'I'm fine with anything.' Zhongli replied with a slight smile on his face,

Childe got a kettle and poured in water and put it on the stove, waiting for it to boil. Childe took a seat beside Zhongli by the fire place.

It was a really awkward moment. Childe gripped on the cloth of the couch.

'Zhongli...I can't handle this anymore..' Childe said,

'Hm? What do you mean-' Childe pins Zhongli on the couch.

'Zhongli, I think I'm in love with you..'

'C-Childe..I-' just then, the kettle whistled, meaning that the water was boiling. Zhongli immediately shoved Childe away, regretting it, and rushed over to the kitchen.

Tears welled up in Childe's eyes, if only I wasn't such an idiot!He thought.

A cup of tea appeared in front of Childe's eyes, Zhongli handed Childe the cup of tea and sat beside him. Another awkward silence.

'I..love you too Childe.' Zhongli suddenly said,

Childe's face lit up, surprised of what Zhongli said, 'You..do?'

'Why would I say it in the first place?' Zhongli smiled,

Childe slowly got on top of Zhongli, 'Then...I suppose you won't mind me doing this~' Childe pressed his lips against Zhongli's, Zhongli pulled Childe closer and they ended up kissing for a little too much.
