A sleep over in the dark of night

Amity pov

It was another day and I went past the training room and my hairs on my arm popped up. What the. I go into the training room to see none other than Serene herself. No one uses this place more than her. She was practicing a lightning spell it looked like. I saw her eyes. She closed them then opened them and her eyes glowed and the whites turned to black. What happened. Her lightning suddenly turned lime green and it was wild. It was shooting off everywhere. It then all disappeared then all came out again with more of it. It disappeared again and her eyes turned to normal. "I hate this" she says
What why would he hate that much power. "Why all this power. Why did the emperor do this to me" she said as her eyes turned black again and he shot a bolt of green lightning into the wall making a big hole. Wait she said the emperor. What did he do. I should act like I just came in. I open the door then close it. She looks up to me. "Hey amity" she says coldly
"Hello Serene what we're you doing" I ask
"Working on a new spell" she said
"Cool. Oh I was going to ask if you wanted to do a sleepover at my place with luz and my friends." I say
"Sure" she says
"Great see you tonight" I say
"Have a great day Amity" she says before I go out.
I blushed. "T-Thanks Serene" I say going out the door

Serene pov

That was close she could have seen it. God but why. Why me. I get my stuff and go out of the school with luz and her friends. "Hey guys" I say walking to them
"Oh hey Serene. You coming to amity's sleep over." Luz ask
"Yeah I am. What about Gus and Willow." I ask
"Yeah I'm coming"Gus says
"I will also" Willow said
"Good. Now we can have a fun time tonight" luz says
I chuckle a little. We walk home and I get some nos energy drinks and capsules of my staff just in case. "You ready luz" I yell to her
She slid down the stairs to the door. "Yep" luz said
I nod and we hear a door knock. Luz opens it to find Gus and Willow. "Hey guys" Gus says
"Sup" I say
We all walk to the blight manor and I knock on the door. The twins open it up. "PRANK BUDDIES" I yell
"PRANK SIS" they yell and jump at me to hug me. I hug back and we fall to the ground and laugh. We all go inside and we find amity's room. "Hey Serene" amity says to me
"Hey beautiful" I say then I mentally slap myself for how stupid that was. She had a bright red face. I could have sworn I heard ed and em laughing in the back. "C-Come I-in" she stuttered
I grabbed all the bags from everyone and yelled "YEET" as I chucked it in there. "Alright done with that. Now what" I say
"Well let's go in" amity says
We all walk in and I sit on the pile of bags like a throne. Amity sits on the bed. Gus and Willow sit on the floor. Em and Luz sit at the window and Ed stand beside me. "Alright I think I know what we can do" I say
"What's that" amity asked
"Do y'all know this spell" I ask
I make the cloth spell circle and do a flip through it and at the end I have a oversized black hoodie. Black pants and black air force 1. They all nod. "Let's see who can do the best cloths." I say
I make a spell circle behind me and do a backflip into my normal cloths and end up sitting on the throne of bags again. "Show off" Ed says
"I try" I smirk
"Alright luz I made a big cloth that you put over you with the glyph on it already" I say throwing it to her
She nods and puts the cloth over her. When the cloth comes off she is in a half hoodie with longer sleeves with ripped jeans and custom Air Force ones. "Alright cool" I say
Em goes next and she comes out with a no sleeve hoodie with the sides cut out and black jeans with vans. "Stylish. But not as good as mine" Ed says as he has a red tank top with Nike shorts and red retro Jordan's. "Alright let me try" Gus says as he go through his spell circle and he come out with a long sleeve and a oversized vest with joggers and adidas boost. "Wow this is cool let me try" Willow says as she does the spell circle and she comes out in a short sleeve and half pants with adidas yeezys. "Wow this is cool" amity says she makes the spell circle and comes out with a sports bra under a oversized vest with white pants that hug her tight and the nikes from back to the future. "W-wow amity y-you look so g-good" I stutter
She turned red. "T-t-thanks Serene you do to" she says
My face heats up. I could hear Ed and em whisper something in the back with luz. They all nod then. "What you doing" I say right behind them
"AHHHH" they screamed
"Ha got em" I say
I look out side. "Well we should get some sleep for tomorrow so we can do some fun stuff" I say
"Well good night everyone" amity said
"Good night" everyone else said
They all go to sleep. I look at my hand. It's blue again. It's time for another massacre. I sneak out the window and get all black cloths on and start to walk west to the nearest town.

Ed pov

"Em you saw her right" I say
She nods
"Let's go see what she's doing" em says
We sneak out and run to where she went.
We see him enter a city with her putting in something in his staffs ends. The guards stop her. But then something I didn't expect happens. She put the end of his staff on his stomach and fire exited the guards back killing him. Em covers her mouth in horror as she starts to murder the whole town. We just watch as one by one. Witches fall. I get a glimpse at his eyes and the whites were black. "Dark magic." I say
"What" em says
"She has dark magic. Her eyes are black and his flames are different." I say
"Why is she doing this" em ask sobbing a little
"We just have to wait" I say
He gets down to the last two people and we get closer to hear him. I look at his eyes and I see. Tears... why is she crying. "I'm going to give you a choice. Either run and spread my name and live forever alone. Or be reunited with the rest of your town so you don't suffer for the rest of your life." He says
"We want to run" one says
She nods and split his staff. And sheathed it. The two run off. Once the were from a distance. He dropped to his knees and sobbed. "I swear why. Why did you do this to me. I don't want to do this but I don't want my friends to die....I don't want amity to die" Serene cried
Wait what. She is forced to do this or we die. Then em points to the ground around her. The blood is being sucked up into his right hand. "You better pray emperor belos. One day. One day I will kill you for all these lives. These innocent lives I have to take." She yelled
Emperor belos. What did he do. Did he make her kill people so we don't die. "Em you hear this right" I ask
"Yeah." She says
We start to walk away to a hill. But then we see her fly up. "This is my masterpiece. I like to call it my final art piece" he says
A giant ball of flames grow until it got so big it covered the sky's. He threw it down and destroyed the city. "Ed I say we confront her. I want to help him if he is forced to do this" em says still shaken from all the killings.
I nod and we wait there. We see her walk up the hill to us. He looks at us and freezes. "H-Hey guys what are you doing here" she says
"We know. And we want to help you" I say
"We know you are forced to do this" em says
"Sigh... you saw it all.... didn't you" she ask
We nod. He takes of his right glove. And he shows us his hand. "The reason is I have been cursed. It gives me dark magic but I have to kill witches or I will kill all my people closest to me. And slowly the emperor is gaining more control over me since I am losing my emotions" she explains
"So it is the emperor that cursed you since your a Cortez" I say
She nods
"What can we do to help" em ask
"Eda is working on a elixir but it only slows it down.what y'all could do is not tell anyone about this and keep amity safe from me if I act weird" she says
"Why protect amity" em ask
"Because I love her" Serene says
