Toni's POV

"Rylan, mamas. It's time to get up." I said.

"Mama. Hot." She said, pointing to her shirt.

"It's not hot, baby." I said, furrowing my eyebrows.

I touched her forehead, seeing why she said it's hot.

"Poor thing. You have a fever." I frowned.

"Mama. I sick." She frowned.

"It's okay, beautiful." I smiled.

"Everything okay?" Cheryl asked.

"Rylan has a fever, bebé." I said, picking our daughter up.

"Hot!" She cried, pulling at her shirt.

I sighed, pulling her shirt off.

"Aww, My baby's sick, huh?" Cheryl frowned, gently taking Rylan.

Rylan nodded against Cheryl's shoulder.

"Okay, Mommy is going to get you some medicine okay?" Cheryl said.

"Otay." The girl said.

------

"She's asleep for now." I sighed, sitting next to my wife who cuddled up to me.

"I hate seeing her sick. It's so quiet, it feels weird." Cheryl sighed.

"I know. But soon she'll feel better and it'll be noisy again." I chuckled.

That's the thing about being parents. They want a quiet time when it's noisy but soon as it's too quiet, they wish for noise. Weird.

"Mommy!" We heard from the room.

"And she's up again." Cheryl sighed, kissing my cheek before getting up to see what our daughter needed.

Cheryl's POV

"What's wrong, Bebé?" I asked, picking up the girl.

"Food." She pointed to her stomach.

"You want to eat? How about some of mommy's famous soup?" I asked, tickling her side.

"Yes!" The girl giggled.

"Okay," I smiled walking out of the room.

After I made Rylan some soup, I checked to her temperature to see that her fever had gone down.

"Your fever is going down." Cheryl smiled.

"Yay!" Toni clapped making Rylan flash her a smile.

We decided to cuddle on the couch as we watch finding dory.

I heard light snores coming from beside me. I giggled quietly when I saw Toni and Rylan asleep.

I then decided to take a nap myself.
