"Everyone, hide!" Pierce frantically called his allies to a bright, silent room.

I don't know how we ended up like this... Maybe it was just a big mistake, right? Or maybe it's just a big misunderstanding...

"What the hell is going on here?" Ryder whispered, as his breath becomes weaker while covering his injured abdomen using his trembling hands.

"Ryder, are you sure you're fin--"

"Of course I'm not fine!" Ada was shocked to see Ryder's face.

"To be honest, I'm absolutely terrified right now. It hurts, really hurts..." Ryder said while a flow of unintentional tears comes rushing from his dreadful eyes.

Ada bit her nails while looking at Ryder. She, too, was drenched in his blood while trying to cover his wound.

"You'll be fine. Ada, go help him first." Pierce said while still looking outside the room. Ada immediately followed Pierce's command.

I don't know where I am... I don't even know who I am anymore! What's happening? Why is this happening to me?

Why do I feel like there are people following me as if they are just waiting for me to lose my strength and just shout a very loud cry full of grief and despair?

Why?

Why is this happening?

"Now what?" Said Kris.

No one responded.

"I mean, how are we supposed to take them dow--"

"I don't know, ok? Let's just hide here for now." Pierce whispered an obvious rage.

"We need to work together here... We need to escape before it's too late." He added.

What is happening to my body?

Why do my hands and feet always tremble?

Why does my vision seem blurry?

Why did my white clothes turn red?

Why does the air I breathe smell of blood?

Why?

Why is this happening?

"If we stay here for long, the chances of someone or something seeing us will be higher." Kris exclaimed.

"But if we go out now, they will still see us otherwise." Pierce looked Kris dead in the eyes.

"Ryder tried to fight those things and look what happened. We have to think about this as if it is our last because to tell you the truth, I cannot see any chances of survival here." Pierce tried to look confident, even though he had long seen the cruel fate that awaited him in this place.

My heart is beating faster, yet faster...

It's like I'm running out of air.

I'm scared.

I am actually legitimately scared.

What are those things?

Why is it normal for them to take the lives of people there?

Why?

Why is this happening?

"Then what are we going to do now?" Kris nervously asked his friends.

"There's nothing we can do but fight them all at once..." Pierce replied with a very cold voice.

Kris looked at Pierce in pure dismay.
