In our ragtag base of operations, Oliver and I got to work. We had our sights on Martin Somers. Oliver sat at the computer researching, as I sharpened our weapons of choice.

"Laurel's targeted the worst of Starling City." Oliver broke the silence.

"So, let me guess. He's on your father's list." I said.

Oliver nodded his head.

"Then let's go teach this guy a lesson." I decided.

I grabbed Oliver's hood and tossed it to him. I pulled on my suit, and walked over to Oliver. I zipped up the front of his hood, and brought my face close to his. Before I could kiss him he strapped his quiver on himself, and handed me my bow. There was something up with him, but I didn't press it. It was probably just this whole thing with Laurel.

~~

Oliver cut the power as we took down the men surrounding Somers. We strung Somers up by his feet causing him to daggle upside down.

"Martin Somers." Oliver said.

"Who the hell are you?" Somers yelled.

"You failed this city." Oliver said, as he pulled back an arrow ready to shoot.

"No, No, No." Somers whined, as Oliver released the arrow sending it a few inches away from Somers.

"You're going to testify in that trial. You're going to confess to having Victor Nocenti killed. There won't be a second warning." Oliver commanded, as I shot an arrow grazing Somers face.

~~

Oliver went our separate ways after going to Somer's port. It's been a day or two since we last saw each other. I had the news on while I was in my room, following Somer's case. I stood in front of the TV, in just jeans and a sports bra. My scars easily seable.

"Attorney for shipping magnate, Martin Somers, has confirmed his client has no intention of testifying. Maintaining his innocence in the wrongful death of Victor Nocenti. Nocenti's body was found weeks ago. We'll keep you updated as more information becomes available." The anchor concluded.

"Wait, how did you get those?" Tommy's voice broke my concentration.

I grabbed my sweatshirt, turning my back on Tommy, and quickly swung it on. His steps rushing towards me.

"Don't you knock?" I sighed.

He turned me around before I could zip up the hoodie.

"The doctor said there were scars..." Tommy paused as he moved my sweatshirt, seeing more of my scars. "I.. (Y/n), what happened to you out there?"

My eyes refused to make contact with Tommy's. I pulled the hoodie closed and zipped it.

"I don't want to talk about it." I said, turning t o walk away.

"You never want to talk to me about anything. (Y/n) we've barely had a conversation since you've got home. If anything about the island is brought up you shut down. You need to open up, in the end you're going to be your own downfall. If not to me than to someone, please." He begged.

"I'm sorry, Tommy. I need to get better at talking about what happened there, and talking to you and other people. I'm just not ready yet." I apologized.

He pulled me into a hug.

~~

I hesitantly knocked on the door, waiting for my response. The door swung open revealing Laurel.

"Hey." I smiled.

"Hi, what are you doing here?" She questioned.

"Oh, uh Tommy pointed out to me that I've been distant. Since I got back and that it would be a good idea, if I let somebody in." I rambled.

"So, you thought you'd start with the person you haven't said a word to." She said.

"Well, you seemed pretty mad at Oliver the past few times I saw you. I didn't want to interrupt anything." I responded.

She moved, signaling I could walk in.

"Thank you." I said.

I walked into her apartment.

"This place hasn't changed in five years." I reminisced.

"What's in the bag?" She asked.

"I thought about many things on the island, but there was one thing I thought about every day. I actually dreamed about it and I promised myself that if I ever got to do it again, I'd do it with you." I pulled the tub from the bag. "Eat ice cream."

~~

Laurel and I talked for a while, eating ice cream and reminiscing.

"This is as good as I remember." I smiled, taking another spoonful.

There was a thud, from somewhere in the apartment.

"Did you hear that?" I asked.

"What?" Laurel questioned.

I grabbed the knife from off the table, getting up from my spot on the floor.

"There's someone in on the fire escape." Laurel started to question, but I grabbed her arm pulling her with me. "Come on."

We ran to the door, only to be blocked by someone crashing through the door. I turned pulling Laurel with me, as the man fired his gun at us. Another person came through a window, blocking our path yet again. We went to run in the opposite direction, but a woman with bleach blonde hair blocked us. I took the knife and threw it into one of the men cornering us. Knocking out another as he came towards us. The lady lunged at us with knives in her hands. I countered most of her attacks, but she had more skill than the other men. I twisted her arm, getting one of her knives. Before I could do any damage with it I was knocked to the floor, my head slammed on the hardwood. My vision became blurry and ears rang. I sat up seeing the woman about to plunge her knife into Laurel. The feeling of a knife in my hand became present. My vision cleared, as tightened my grip on the blade. I stood quickly and threw the knife hitting the knife out of the woman's hand, causing her to flee. I sat back down on the floor, my head aching.

"Are you hurt?" I asked, as a shocked Laurel sat up.

"No, no. I'm fine. You?" Laurel responded.

"I'm good. Nothing like a near death experience to get your adrenaline running." I joked.

Laurel let out a soft laugh. After a few minutes the police showed up.

~~Hi, Fallen_Angel here. Sorry I kinda forgot to post this past week. I'll try to get another chapter out by the end of the weekend.~~
