Monday. School. Got up, curled my long brown hair, put on eye liner, the usual. Put on a pair of jeans and a tank top, followed by a leather brown jacket. I looked in the mirror. I was pretty, guys liked my looks, but I guess they didn't really care about my personality. Well, that day I was sitting in the auditorium stage in the dark, like I always do, and I heard the backstage door click open, I ran into the pit and ducked down, facing away from the stage and leaning against it. A flick noise sounded and the light came on. Then footsteps across the stage and a chair slammed into the stage. I heard whoever was there sit down, and take a deep breath. Then, a paper ruffled. And he spoke.
"I can't sleep
I can't breathe
I can't eat
I can't move
The walls close in
And my thoughts take me under
The faucet turns on
And I slowly sink down
Letting the water fill my lungs
I rise before I die
And I think
'If I did it
I could finally sleep'
Then he stood up, walked out, and shut the lights off. I closed my eyes, let out a sigh, then lay on the floor for a while before leaving. When I got outside there was no sign of him. I shouldn't have worried, I knew I would find him again.
