||TWO WEEKS LATER||

I had been here for two weeks and so far it's been smooth sailing I mean aside from the first day when we got ambushed by the New Ozai Society. We had to stand on guard and it helped to have the Kyoshi Warriors by outside, other than that nothing else has happened.
As I spent more time with Ursa I got to know more about Zuko and he hated when she told me embarrasing stories about him but she also talked about Azula in a good way. Honestly I loved Ursa she was a great mother to all her children. I did have my doubts in the beginning but I grew to understand her side of the story.
I also spent some time with Kiyi who still wasn't used to her mother's new/old face. She was still afraid of her and I tried to convince her it was okay but she wouldn't give in. I guess she was as stubborn as her brother.
Zuko had to work a lot so we rarely got any time together for just the two of us. We would spend every morning together and that was mainly our alone time, only we used it to practice and train. It was still fun and I was grateful to even have those two hours with him.

Now here I was, in my room packing up my bag. Just a few things especially for Ming, she was sad to be leaving just like I was but she also didn't want to be left without me. I don't think I would be able to go without her either.
As I finished packing I heard the door behind me close and then I felt hands snake around my waist his body pressed against mine. A smile grew on my face as he placed soft kisses on my cheek, slowly trailing down to my neck. I couldn't help but hum at the sweet gesture.

"Morning, Fire Lord, Zuko.." I greeted softly.

"Good morning, love." He murmured back his lips scraping across my skin. "Stay longer."

I turned to him and ran my hands down his cheeks. A smile formed on both of our faces. "You need some time with your own family. I've been here long enough."

"You are my family." He spoke kissing me, we both fell back on the bed. His lips placed a kiss just above the necklace. "Almost.."

I hummed again but flipped us over, my hands freezing his down. "Nice try." I smirked.

"Fine." He said and I freed him.
He sat down keeping me on his lap, he was being so much sweeter than before.

"Love, we'll see each other again in a few weeks." I kissed his knuckles and that's when he pushed me back onto the bed with a smirk and kissed me, a rough and passionate kiss. Our lips move in sync and I wanted to bury my hands in his hair but he held them down to the bed.
I really didn't want this to end but sadly it had to end since I had gotten a message from my siblings telling me where to meet them.

"Zuko," I huffed. "I have to go."

Knock Knock.

"One minute!" I said embarrased and I pushed Zuko off of me. I sat up and chuckled. "Sorry."

"Yeah, me too." He muttered and fixed my hair.

We both walked to the door where Ty Lee waited for me holding, Ming. "Morning, Ty Lee."

"Morning Kaida." She smiled. "The carriage is ready to take you to Harbor City."

We followed them and I said goodbye to everyone else. I had agreed to stay in order to protect them but since nothing has happened it was safe for me to leave.

"Bye." I hugged Zuko. "I'll see you in a few weeks."

He kissed my cheek. "Be safe okay?"

"Yes sir." I winked but he pulled me back. "Zuko, I promise you'll see me again."

"I know." He replied, I hugged him back and his lips brushed against my ear. "I love you."

"I love you too." I smiled and Ty Lee and I left in the carriage.
