part 2

i woke up not wanting to go to school but mike literally dragged me out of bed so i hit the ground then got up chasing him around the whole house trying to hit him but he ran outside and i was in my bra and some shorts so i just rolled my eyes and walked back to my room showering then getting dressed and sitting on my phone until mike yelled that he was ready to go so i got my keys and jogged downstairs then we go in the car and drove to starbucks to get breakfast and a drink then we actually drove to school but this time mike walked to class with me and we were pushing each other and laughing then he made me fall so i sat on the ground laughing then he helped me up and walked me to my class then once we made it i gave him a hug and he kissed me on the cheek like we've been doing forever then he walked off and i rolled my eyes going in class

Teacher: ohhh is that your boyfriend ms y/n
Y: no ma'am that's my best friend he's like a brother to me
Teacher: i sense some chemistry
Y: haha no we're just really close our moms had us 2 minutes apart and they were best friends their whole lives so me and mike just clicked
Teacher: that's really cool y/n
Y: thank you
Teacher: alright well go sit i have to get ready for my lecture
Y: alright
Teacher: but may i ask what drink that is
Y: oh it's a pink drink from starbucks it's so good
Teacher: i want to try it but i never have time before school
Y: i can bring you one tomorrow
Teacher: you don't have to do that
Y: i have nothing else to do
Teacher: thank you
Y: no worries

i smiled then walked to my seat and since that kobe boy wasn't there i got on my phone texting devyn then after our conversation was over i started texting mike and he was telling me about this group of girls in his class and i was just laughing at him and telling him to go talk to them but he said no so i continued laughing then i secretly facetimed him and once he answered i put in my airpods and used my hair to cover them and i started whispering then kobe and his shitty friend group came and i was smiling at mike and making jokes and he could hear the kobe boy talking and asked me if that was the boy so i told him yea then he started making jokes about him making me laugh

Kobe: what's so funny
Y: why do you care
Kobe: because if it's something about me then say it out loud
Y: don't flatter yourself no one wants to talk to or about you so mind your business dumb ass
Kobe: look who finally got guts from yesterday
Y: yea and look who still won't shut the fuck up from yesterday
Mike: y'all argument is dumb
Y: tell that to him
Kobe: who are you talking to
Y: not you
Teacher: y/n and kobe please stop talking
Y: my bad

i rolled my eyes at kobe then after a while mike had to hang up so i hung up just listening to music until i heard my name being called so i looked up at the teacher

Teacher: for our project you'll be partnering with vallyk pena
Y: who is that
Vallyk: oh hell no i'm not working with her

i look at the boy who's talking and of course to my luck it's one of kobe's bitch ass friends so i just roll my eyes and listen to my music again while he argues with the teacher about working with me but after a while he gave up and just and "agreed" to be my partner anyways once the bell rung i still had in my airpods minding my business until someone pushed me and i turned around seeing vallyk

Vallyk: give me your damn number so i can text you for this stupid project
Y: there's a nicer way to ask
Vallyk: if only i cared
Y: is everyone boy at this school who isn't a self absorbed prick
Vallyk: can you save the small talk and just give me your damn number
Y: whatever

i give him my number then he just looks at it and rolls his eyes shoving his phone in his pocket and walking back to his friends so i get my backpack and walk out the room going in my next class and seeing devyn smiling at me from her seat so i go and sit down waiting for then teacher to come in
