▹averman wanted to feel important so he really pushed having the new years party at his house

▹like even more than he did friendsmas and the team sleepover

▹everyone heard him out and he really thought he was getting to host

▹avermans hope was short-lived because everyone vetoed him and new years was held at adams

▹you're wrong if you think averman doesn't complain that everything is held at adams house

▹so the party was moved to bombay's house

▹bombay didn't appreciate his home being offered up to a bunch of 13/14-year-olds but gave in when you threatened to cry at him

▹everyone was assigned a finger food/snack to bring

▹goldberg showed out and brought a bunch of stuff from his parent's restaurant

▹everyone agreed on playing games but uno was banned

▹you and fulton were pissed

▹dean was relieved

▹bombay was slightly confused

▹you brought the nerf guns you got at christmas and sneakily handed averman one of them under the table while everyone ate

▹y'all and these damn nerf guns i swear to god

▹after everyone got done eating and had dispersed throughout the living room and kitchen, you and averman whipped out the nerf guns and started shooting at people

▹fulton confiscated as many bullets as he and the rest of the team could grab and hid them

▹you came prepared though

▹you had bought a huge thing of nerf gun bullets on your way there in case something like this happened

▹you and averman literally hid in the bathroom to evenly distributed the bullets

▹guy snuck in with you and showed you that he'd brought a nerf gun too and was on your side

▹the three of you spent the rest of the night shooting everyone

▹bombay was very amused but finally confiscated the nerf guns after multiple complaints from the rest of the team

▹finally, midnight rolled around and the whole team excitedly counted down with the tv announcer

▹goldberg, averman, dwayne, and jesse brought confetti poppers and shot them when it struck midnight

▹things obviously weren't thought through because they were kinda surprised when they were made to clean up

▹after all the confetti was cleaned up, bombay tried to usher everyone out so he could go to bed

▹he quickly learned that you guys planned on it also being a sleepover because apparently, every party/get together you have doubles as a sleepover

▹he reluctantly lets you set up camp in the living room if you promised to be quiet

▹you guys were not quiet

▹russ and goldberg set up a blanket fort that covered the entire living room

▹someone (probably jesse and averman) started a pillow fight

▹you, connie, and julie demanded a dance party to which everyone objected but eventually joined in

▹inside voices? y'all don't know her. y'all just spent the whole night screaming

▹dean had found the tv remote, turned on an action movie, and turned up the volume way to loud

▹just all the chaos that this team is

▹the nerf guns and all the bullets were found and used and then confiscated a second time because everyone kept screaming louder than they already were

▹bombay took them to his room and told you that you could have them again the next day

▹you literally wouldn't talk to him until he gave them back

▹the team threatened to stop inviting/telling you and averman about get togethers if you didn't stop bringing nerf guns

▹you were pissed but promised to stop shooting everyone

▹poor bombay got zero sleep
