Hello! I have not been posting preferences here for a loooong time, but I thought that I would try and continue doing a few once in a while again. And since I adore these song preferences, I thought that I would do one more!

(BTW, ANY REQUESTS WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED! :) )

And just another quick note that I am not including Zayn in these preferences anymore - for obvious reasons. Hope you'll enjoy anyway! xx

Niall:

"I shiver when you touch my skin, and I know without asking, you're right there where you wanna be, you're right here in front of me"

You closed your eyes. His fingertips ran down your naked shoulder and upper arm making your whole body shiver. You looked up at him as you tried not to seem too weak. But you were. He made you weak, and you couldn't do anything about it. The only thing that assured you that that was okay, was the fact that you knew - and you didn't even have to ask because you knew - that he felt the same way about you. You couldn't come up with any other place in the world that you would rather be than right here in this moment with him. You may only have been lying on a bed with these thin sheets seperating your bodies, and there would be so many other places, other circumstances that, in other people's eyes, would be a lot more romantic, but... no. Not for you. He leaned forward and pressed his lips to your forehead. You closed your eyes once again, and in that moment you knew; the person in front of you wouldn't wish for anywhere else to be than right here, right now.

Harry:

"And you talk about travelling, where we'll go and where we've been. But the scene you're building out, all I see is it coming down"

"Do you remember when we were in Italy?" A wide grin appeared on his face. "I wanna go back, y'know. It was amazing.Or when we were in Brasil. That was crazy." Harry's eyes were filled with excitement as he turned his head to face you. Your legs were lying across his, and you were leaned back against the pillows behind you. He put a hand on your knee and laid his head back, closing his eyes. "Y'know, babe... we could go to France together. Wouldn't that just be perfect? And I don't mean going to Paris and seeing the Eiffel tower like everyone does... I mean going into the country." You reached a hand out. While he was speaking, you gently caressed the tattoos on his arms. "Have you ever seen France? Like really seen it? It's beautiful. We could go there... long drives... walks... y'know, just you and me." You could see it all before you as he painted the picture. But. There is always a but, isn't there? No one knew about you two. No one was supposed to know about you. You could see the beautiful landscape, you could imagine how the two of you would be holding hands and being inseperable... but then you could also see the paps. The people snatching photos, and you could already picture the headlines, hear the gossip... everything. And no matter how wonderful it would be to experience that sort of thing with the person whom you loved so deeply, you knew that for the two of you; it was most likely not possible.

Louis:

"You are so good, I know that this is going to hurt, I don't think we should, you know it's never going to work"

"Louis, no..." you whispered. Your hands were shaking as you pulled away from him. "We shouldn't do this." You wanted to kiss him, you wanted to kiss him so bad, but no. You weren't supposed to do it. There was worlds between the two of you, and no matter how bad you wanted it to be possible to be with him, it just wasn't. And could you do anything about it? The answer was no.

"Why?" he asked and looked at you with these big puppy eyes, begging you not to say the inevitable.

You ran your finger over his cheek and shook your head. You were just about to answer him, when he pulled you close and pressed his lips to yours. You knew that you couldn't resist him, and you kissed him back, passionately. It felt so good. But you had to remind yourself that you knew how this would end. It wasn't going to be good in the end.

You put your hands on his chest and pushed him away. You were both almost out of breath from the intense kiss. You didn't let him ask you why again, you just shook your head and said: "I don't think we should do this. You know that it's never going to work out for us." You sighed and your voice was trembling when you opened your mouth again: "We are too different. I'm just a boring, normal girl. I don't fit into your superstar life, and you know it." You closed your eyes. "You know it," you added, whispering.

"We could try," he suggested with a hopeful voice, as if it would make you change your mind.

"But I don't want to risk it. You know we're eventually going to end up hurt. Neither of us want that to happen." You looked down with tears in your eyes. "It's going to hurt."

He shook his head and put a hand on the side of your head to force you to look him in the eye. "Y/N, life does that. Life hurts. Everything can hurt, but this feels so good, and I am willing to risk it all for you."

Liam:

"Leaves fall and the winter comes, why does it take us by surprise? It's been the story all our lives, oh"

Time was moving by so fast, and you could barely keep up. You had spent the summer travelling, trying to find time for you and your boyfriend to spend together, but never had it been more than a day or two. Your expectations for the summer had disappeared with the days going by, and now you could walk through your hometown watching how the leaves were falling to the ground. The wind was so chilly, and you were shivering under your light coat. Maybe you should find your winter coat. Soon enough would this entire town be covered in a layer of white snow, and yet another few month would have been spent like the rest; waiting for something that would never come.

Liam would come home for you soon, you knew that, but whether it would be the way you expected it, you couldn't tell. You were beginning to lose faith that it would ever be the same way that it was when the two of you first got together. But now that it was no longer a wonder, and none of what it was to be with the famous Liam Payne was new anymore... things just weren't good anymore. They weren't even really fine.

You finally made it to the apartment that you were sharing with Liam. You unlocked the door and with one deep sigh, you threw your coat in the corner. Your shoes went the same way just a moment later. You switched on the light in the kitchen, and at first you didn't even notice the figure standing in front of the window. You looked up, and you were nearly tearing up before he could as much as say one word.

"Hello, babe," said Liam with a wide smile on his lips. He opened his arms and allowed you to run straight into his embrace where you felt home. You felt his lips on the top of your head repeatedly.

And now you were standing there in each others arms, and every single though, every single doubt that had crossed your mind drifted away and disappeared out of the open window behind you. Because there was one very important reason that you were doing this: You loved Liam.
