To catch a thief

"I'd say you were a lying bastard." Ella said, her arm hanging out of one of the holes in the cell door,

"Half right, but ask yourselves what if there is a chance no matter how small to see her again." Ella saw Will glance down at the coffin, "She gave up everything for you surely you should do the same

"Will... Don't listen that would mean breaking the laws of magic and we can't do that." Ella said

"Oh I think he'll do more than listen, give a man proper motivation there's no telling what he might do."

"This is a horrible plan, one of your worst." Ella said as they walked towards the tent in the outlands

"I know, but we have to." Will said walking into the tent

"Will? Ella?" Alice said once she saw them, Alice and Cyrus ran over to them and hugged them,

"You got out" Alice said with a smile, but when she saw the looks on Ella and Will's faces, "What's wrong?"

"She's dead Alice Anastasia she's dead." Ella said looking at the floor

"Jafar he stabbed her right in front of us, put our hearts back in our chest and made us watch it." Will finished

"I'm so sorry." Cyrus sighed as he pulled Ella into a hug and Alice hugged Will

"We're here for you no matter what." Alice said when she let go of Will

"Do you mean that?" Will asked

"Of course we do." Cyrus said putting his hand on Ella's arm

Will looked over to Ella who didn't look at him back, "Well there's something you can do actually. I mean a way to truly make things better"

"Tell me" Alice said immediately

"You know when I said anything's possible in Wonderland." Alice nodded her head, "Well turns out I was right we can bring Anastasia back." Cyrus and Alice shared a look.

"But there is one catch... We have let Jafar win." Ella added

"No, we can't let him win." Alice said

"Aren't you the one that said everyone deserves a second chance?" Ella asked

"Yes, but-"

Will cut Alice off saying, "Where is Anastasias second chance? If we give that staff back to Jafar he'll change the laws of magic."

"Which is exactly what we want to prevent." Cyrus said leaning on the head of the staff

"I don't know if you've been listening mate but the situations changed." Will turned to face Alice, "I know this sounds like a bad plan-"

"It sounds like an awful plan." Alice said cutting him off

"Have you got a better one?" Ella asked

"We want to help-"

Will cut Alice off saying, "You keep saying that but I don't see either of you actually doing anything, please if you are any mate of mine you'd hand it over."

Cyrus shook his head and said, "You know we can't do that."

"Alice..." Ella trailed off looking at her

"...We can't I'm sorry." Alice said quietly

"So that's how it is then?" Will asked

"Guys think even if Jafar kept his end of the bargain- which he won't-"
