Week three we would like to give you a bit more of a challenge.

Please read the instructions carefully.

Please find below a list of 7 words that you MUST USE IN YOUR POEM.

Flood

Distant

Courage

Space

Union

All 7 of these words MUST be used in your poem.

Your poem MUST be no longer than 14 lines, may be any subject.

Each poet is allowed only 1 entry UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED on the eligibility list.

All poems for this week, must be received by December 5th at MIDNIGHT MST (Mountain Standard Time).

ONLY POETS WHO HAVE QUALIFIED FOR THE POET OF THE YEAR MAY PARTICIPATE.
