"wanna come over to my house?"

you have agreed to do that.

on the way to his house, he's been talking a lot about his girlfriend and all the things that she said after they broke up. the pain in his voice was there, it was surely there, you could've known that even if you weren't his friend. it's heartbreaking to see hoseok like that, especially knowing that he doesn't act like this usually, you're used to him being a happy boy, giving hope to other people and smiling every day. you didn't really know his girlfriend that well, but now you've realized that she wasn't that good, mostly for hoseok and his pure kindness.

"home alone today, which means we can do what we want in this house." he started walking to what you assumed was the kitchen, dragging you along by the hand and opening the fridge when you both arrived there. "what are you doing?" you raised an eyebrow, seeing that he was searching for something. "taking daddy's beer," he joked, giving you a wink. "nah, but i do wanna get drunk and forget about that gaping hole in my chest, you know?"

"yep," you sighed. "i understand that."

pulling four cold beers out of the fridge, he gave you a bright smile, setting those down on the kitchen counter and opening two up. handing you one, you took it, tapping your finger against the brown glass. he hopped on the kitchen counter, you, yourself, grabbed a chair and pulled it so you can be closer to him, sitting down as you took a sip of the drink. "so, tell me..." hoseok started, tapping his chin. "how did you get over your ex-girlfriend?"

"i don't know," you shrugged, he gave you a weird look, unsatisfied by your answer. "surrounded myself with people, i guess, tried to never think about her and she became a distant memory to me, i didn't really see her ever since." after you properly answered, hoseok took a big swing of his beer when he felt his eyes stinging.

"yeah, bet it's not that easy," he muttered, chuckling to himself. before he can say anything else, you butted in. "you say that just because it happened recently, but trust me, you will move on and you'll find the right person. you can not think about her anymore, and then allow yourself, and if you notice that it doesn't hurt anymore, it means you're over her." you explained, trying not to stop yourself when you saw how aggressively he was drinking.

"i'll be happy again," he whispered to himself, closing his eyes as you took a swing out of your beer. you got up, taking a few steps so that you were standing in front of him, a few inches and you could be considered between his legs. you gave him a slow smile, patting his thigh in an innocent and friendly way. "wanna watch a movie to get your mind off it?" you requested, grinning.

when hoseok saw your grin, he gave you a precious smile back. it looked genuine, he was really cute and it's sad to know that someone would actually even dare to break this man's heart. hopping off the counter, he grabbed the bottles that you had yet to finish, and you settled to watch a random movie that you have found on netflix. it pretty much wasted a whole lot of time and it felt like everything was actually going pretty slow as you were becoming more intoxicated by the passing second.

you had started laughing at how the movie was going for no particular reason, but it was funny to watch the girl still come back to her boyfriend, one that was toxic as fuck. by now, you were pretty tipsy as yourself, the bottles that were once filled were now empty and next to the couch you were laying on— but those were mostly drunk by hoseok, who you knew was the drunkest than ever right now. it was kinda worrisome for you.
