2020, after the global pandemic, during a certain day something strange happened. Once everyone opened their eyes they realised they were no longer themselves, there was some essence of their past but most of them had disappeared. Along with that monsters appeared all around the globe and threatened our existence. Everyone was different; animals have evolved into humanoid creatures, plants have increased their breed and evolved too, creating more herbs and ingredients. In addition to that humans became stronger and had different sorts of magical abilities like those from tales and legends. Well, not really everyone... my ability was quite normal but thanks to how easy it was to use and how much potential it has I easily became a top student of the guild I reside in. Guild of Aggasil, one of the strongest and richest guilds of my region. It took quite a time for me to get into this guild,I was able to finally move into here a month ago after bidding farewell to my parents since I decided that I was going to go there and earn money from the enormous amount of quests and adventures, even though I'll probably become too lazy to carry all of them out. The Guild of Aggasil also provides support to students along with their tuition fees and shelter upon acceptance, hence another accompanying reason as to why I decided to join them. I was given a smaller room than most of the top students since I exceeded a ton due to my SP (strength points), as opposed to my IP, (intelligence points). To be honest, the room wasn't small whatsoever, but at least I didn't have to live in the dorms. The dorms were given to normal students who were able to pass the test for the Guild of Aggasil.
While making my way to Aggasil, I was able to pass by different places, including small villages and other kingdoms. The World changed really quickly in 6 months, different guilds were created and people decided to live in packs for fear of attacks from monsters. Adding to the change, villages and kingdoms were protected by their guilds, as the problems of the citizens would become quests for different parties to solve, just like in games. Along with that, people were ranked by their experience points, so the more quests you do, the higher your rank will be, but that doesn't make you a top student or knight since those were based on talent, strength and intelligence, which was why I became a top student without having a high rank. But, there are also a ton of benefits to having a high rank, for starters, one is fame, and secondly are the awards given to you as you advance to higher ranks. You can ask for anything that is acceptable or equivalent toward those awards. A lot of places were also covered in different plants because of the overgrown plants since evolution. There were also different kingdoms for different evolved humanoid animals. It took me almost a few days to finally reach Aggasil. For your information, Aggasil is the kingdom's name, and because of that our local guild is called the guild of Aggasil, (how original) and since Aggasil has lots of wealth, they're an extremely big place, but that's about all I know about Aggasil. I will discover more in the future.
When I reached Aggasil, I was first given my room. My room was an old library of the campus in Aggasil, because of its size, it was abandoned and the library was moved to a bigger place which is now near the campus' plaza. The room was somewhat circular, and surrounding it were many bookshelves, which were dirty, old, and filled with spider webs. There were stairs leading up to the centre of the room, which was on another floor. When you stood at the top of the stairs, you could oversee everything from there. When I first moved there, I bought a table and cauldron. The cauldron was placed in the centre of the platform and the stairs lead up to it as well. In the centre of the room, there was a long table. My bed hung on top of the room from shelves to shelves because of my ability to levitate items, I was able to maximize the space of the room. After cleaning up all the mess, I was able to fill it with my collection of figurines and manga. Along with my different spell books and potion books but most importantly my jars of ingredients for the potions I am going to be selling. Since my abilities were like a witch I was able to make amazing potions, like healing potions and mana potions, along with many more. Ever since I have gotten my abilities, I was able to learn different potions which I was able to write books about.
While discovering new herbs and ingredients, I'm able to access the different potions and use it but along with that, my strength and agility have improved a lot. As a person who has witch-like magic, I am more of a far-ranged mage when I fight. But because I like fighting close-range, I have been practising intensely to hone my swordsmanship, but besides sparring, I've been trying to combine my magic with it. I have also been planning on learning archery while I'm at it since it would be beneficial in the future for me when I eventually run out of mana, which is unlikely but you can never be too cautious. I am yet to figure out the other abilities I have in my constellation (something everyone can project to check their abilities and has a lot of hidden keys). In addition to this, my first ability was one that gave me limitless potential.
